I work 3 12 hour days a week, so I have plenty of time on my 4 days off to walk and help care for furry friends! I’d be happy to meet with you prior to selected services to ensure you and your pet feel comfortable with me. I’ll make sure leashes and harnesses are secure prior to walks. About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for majority of my life, from volunteering at shelters to raising my own two Labs, now ages 10 and 7. I have plenty of experience caring for senior dogs, including giving vitamins, sticking to feeding schedules, daily walks, and helping them with mobility like climbing stairs. My love for dogs is truly unmatched, and I treat every dog like family I currently work full-time, so my availability is primarily in the afternoons and on weekends. I am available for boarding on weekends, as well as weekday evenings after 5 PM I have a very large yard (not fenced), and I ensure all dogs are safely supervised at all times while outdoors. I can assist with crate training, potty breaks, and maintaining your dog’s preferred feeding routine, whether scheduled or free feeding. I’m happy to accommodate requests to keep dogs separated if needed. My own dogs enjoy playing fetch, relaxing, swimming, and being outside. Your dog will receive plenty of attention, exercise, and care—including daily walks. I treat every dog as if they were my own, with lots of love and patience.

About: Hi, my name is Autumn and i have worked with dogs and other animals for over 15 years. My experience comes from working in animal hospitals, pet stores, daycare, boarding, and rescue facilities. I've also been a dog walker for about 3 years. I worked for a dog walking company for 2 years and then started my own pet care/dog walking business called Road Dogs Pet Care and Transportation. I am a single mother of two daughters (5 & 11) and dog mom of 3 older (13,13, &15), very sweet dogs. They are all very social and well behaved. I have a large fenced in yard. Profile update: Hi, a lot has changed since I first joined Rover. I no longer have my three elderly babies as they have all passed away due to old age. We now have two new additions to our family, Six and Pepper. Six is my 2 year old Border Collie/Heeler mix. She's very spunky, sweet, and playful! Pepper is our 2 1/2 yr old 7 lb. poodle. She is basically my daughters little sidekick and spends almost all of her time with her. She sometimes thinks she's a Doberman, but she's harmless and warms up quick. Once she warms up she's ready to run with the big dogs! They're both great girls and are used to new friends and visitors often. 😊 I'm home full-time and take care of my two kids, two dogs, and our aquatic turtle. Aside from running occasional errands or appointments, I'm able to give your dog or dogs all the love, attention, and playtime that they need. I'm also available for daily dog walks if needed. I have a large fully fenced yard for them to run and play in. They are all inside and outside frequently throughout the day as needed or as they please. I've had fur babies in my family my whole life, so I'm fluent in barks, meows, zoomies, and the very specific 3am guinea pig squeaking situation. Currently mom to a rescued German Shepherd mix who thinks he runs the house (he does), a bonded pair of cats who tolerate him, and a rescued guinea pig who is, frankly, the most dramatic member of the family. I have volunteered with KC Pet Project because animals don't just deserve survival, they deserve champions, and completed their dog and cat care training. Whether your pup needs a solid walk, your kitty needs lap time and laser pointer therapy, I've got you covered with love, patience, and an endless supply of baby talk. Your pet's comfort and safety is my whole thing. Drop-ins, walks, sit-ins. Let's make your time away the least stressful it's ever been. My schedule is genuinely flexible! I work part-time virtually running a nonprofit, so I'm not tied to a rigid daily routine. That means I can pop in as often as your pet needs throughout the day and into the evening, whether that's letting them out, refreshing food and water, or just hanging out for some ear scratches and couch time. And if your dog or cats do better with a consistent companion rather than drop-ins, I'm absolutely able to stay with them. Whatever keeps your pet happiest and most comfortable, we can make it work! Keeping the Peace (and the Pets Inside) Door safety is something I'm almost comically careful about. Before I open any exterior door, I make sure your pet is accounted for and not in a position to bolt. Cats especially have Olympic-level door-darting skills and I have a deep respect for that talent, which is exactly why I won't give them the chance to use it. I also do a quick walk-through each visit to make sure nothing is accessible that shouldn't be, food left out, cabinet doors open, small items on the floor, anything that could turn into a hazard gets addressed. And when I leave, your home gets fully secured, every single time, no exceptions. Out on Walks Every walk starts with a leash check, making sure everything is properly fitted and securely attached before we hit the sidewalk. Once we're out, I stay tuned in to what's around us. If another dog comes into view and is showing signs of reactivity or just seems like a potentially stressful interaction for your pup, I'll proactively move us away and give everyone space. I won't wait to see how it plays out. A calm, uneventful walk is always the goal.

About: I have taken care of dogs for my entire life, we always had at least in our care as I was growing up. When I was 13 I got my first puppy, I potty trained him, leash trained him and trained him on the basics with a few tricks. When I turned 19 I became an Animal Caretaker for a dog daycare and boarding facility and loved it! I cared for up to 20 dogs at a time, observing dog behavior for any signs of aggression, anxiety distress or medical needs. I provided personalized care for dogs who needed it including giving shots, giving pills, staying up to date on their dietary guidelines and any restrictions they required, as well as any behavioral issues to look out for. I also maintained a clean environment for the safety of the dogs and staff. While I am not a certified dog trainer, I do know approved methods of correction and redirection for dogs. I will not correct your dog's behavior unless specifically asked, and we can talk about what is best for you and your pet! I have worked with dogs of all ages from a few months old to senior dogs as well as dogs of all sizes from teacup chihuahuas to great danes! I know leaving your pet in someone else's care is scary, which is why I emphasize that your and your furball's wellbeing are my number one priority! My schedule is currently wide open and available, but if or when that changes I will update my profile and any current clients, making sure you come first. Currently I live in an apartment with my two cats, they are groomed daily, the litter boxes are always clean, water fountains are always running and of course they have a clean open environment for their zoomie sessions! My motto is to leave a place better than I found it!
