About: Pets have been a part of my life my whole life. I've owned everything from dogs, cats, rodents, fish, and ferrets. In high school I spent all my extra time volunteering at Kansas City Ferret Rescue. We even ran some of the shelter out of our house for a while. Currently I own 2 pit bulls and boy do I love my bully breeds. I have Marvel who is 11 and hes my gentle giant. We adopted his mother and had her her whole life and kept him from a litter of puppies she had. We've been together since birth. I also have Alice and she is getting ready to turn 5, we adopted her at 8 weeks old from a neighbor. She's super energetic. I have LOTS of training in taking care of puppies. I also own a 13 year old black Maine coon cat. I adopted him from wayside waifs when he was a tiny 8 week old kitten. My pets are very loved and yours will be also! We will have lots of fun playing with toys, going on walks and all the belly rubs. I am currently a stay at home mom so I have plenty of time to spend with your babies while your away. There will be no hurry in my visits. I currently walk my dogs everyday. They are fed twice a day, morning and evening. We also play ball and Frisbee in our backyard. I will try to keep your pets schedule as close as I can to their current schedule with you.

About: I have been a foster mom and adopter for 18 years. I fostered 50 dogs through a local rescue group. We have had 7 dogs, all but 1 are/ were snow dogs. I'm a part-time small animal physical therapist at ARC where we teach agility and obedience, help rehabilitate cats and dogs with injuries and provide quality of life rehab for seniors or the terminally ill. We took our last babies before they passed to ARC for quality of life, they had degenerative myelopathy and kidney disease, respectively. I fell in love with the place and became a PT. I have a soft spot for senior dogs, they deserve all the spoiling to make their golden years filled with love, comfort and adventure. To me dogs are equal to people and should be treated even better. I have a fenced in back yard and a home made for dogs. We have a four seasons room with a dog door to use. I split the house up according to where your dog is most comfortable while I'm out. We never miss our morning walk. In the summer we take dogs swimming at my in-law's pool 20 minutes in Blue Springs. We also have kiddie pools and a sandbox to discover toys. They can sleep in the bedroom, family room or patio room. If they are kennel training then in their kennel of course, which is in the very comfortable dog room. I am able to administer all types of medication, whether it be oral, injectable, or IV fluids. I am able to do dog CPR, we are also 5 minutes from our vet as well. My home is the ideal vacation spot for your furry friend. About this sitter: I'm a licensed Esthetician and have an in-home spa. I work at ARC part-time, just three afternoons a week. Why I love dog sitting Ever since, I was a child I grew up loving dogs and wanting to stop puppy mills. I always knew I wanted to work with animals in some kind of capacity. I worked on Proposition B with the Humane Society of America. I want to help people feel confident leaving their pets when away from home. About my yard I have a 1/3 acre yard fenced all the way around. We have lots of trees and outdoor dog beds to hang out on under the hammocks. We have lots of squirrels to watch and all of our neighbors have dogs. We have a small wrap around deck that connects to our 4 seasons patio room with a dog door. My experience administering medication I am trained in dispensing all types of medicine; whether it be oral or injectable. I'm also able to do IV fluids and CPR. Your dog(s) will be a part of my family while you are away. They will go about their day doing what they normally do at home. They will be free to play and not be cooped up like at a daycare or vet facility. We have a million toys to play with and a nice neighborhood to walk in and lots of places to nap. We currently have two dogs, they both came from difficult situations, but they love to play with other dogs, it's people that can be intimidating. They prefer people that bring dogs in the house. We do slow introductions. We start with a walking meet and greet around the neighborhood and then we come in the backyard with your dog off-leash to smell and then they can all meet slowly. If all the dogs like each other then I do like a day visit if you will be gone more than a few days, so that your dog is comfy here. If you will be gone more than 2 weeks I recommend a night stay beforehand. I work part-time from home in my spa and part time at ARC on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. We walk every morning and most days I head to the gym after. Perfect time for the dogs to decompress in their own areas and nap. I have a nice fenced in yard with locks on the gates. All dogs are separated by gates and have their own comfortable spaces with multiple rooms. All dogs are fed separately for safety.

About: I am a 37 year-old mother I currently have two dogs of my own (and 2 cats) at one point I had seven dogs of my own that I was caring for I have been around animals my whole life I would love to be able to care for your pet as if it were my own I am great with large dogs and those quote aggressive breed dog type I would prefer to watch your pets in your home as it would make them feel more comfortable I can provide walk and potty breaks and play time I'm available any day I can work around the schedule that I have to take care of your pet I hope that I get the chance to work for you and your furry friend I can make time to have time for your pets needs. About: My name is Jill and have been dog sitting for almost 12 years! For most of those years, dogs came to board at my home overnight. I created a full blown business and it was the most fun I've ever had with a job! But after having my human kiddos and adopting a special needs cat, I no longer offer in-home boarding. About: I work with animals for a living every day and have a passion for them and the care they need, no matter the temperment or personality. My love for animals always comes first. I have over 3 years as an exotic animal care manager, 3 years as a Salon Stylist, and have my certification as a Pet Trainer. About: I've been fostering and taking care of others' dogs as long as I can remember. I have a huge home with a lot of open area to run and play. It has a fenced back yard. The fur babies sleep in my bed and yours will be welcome as well or they can sleep in other rooms. I work during the day but I get home around 530 pm. In the evenings, I'm home with the dogs. If its nice weather, we can go to the off leash parks and run around or go on the trails. I've owned, babysat, nursed back to health beagles, dachshunds, mastiffs, pit bulls, dalmatians, cocker spaniels, border collies, mixx breeds...they are all special to me. I don't give injected meds because I am TERRIFIED of needles! I am willing to travel to the dog's home if they are more comfortable there then outside of their own home. I will have to go home and check on my own dogs but I'll spend as much time as possible. I'll also bring treats from Treats Unleashed. I work 85% at home during the week but I can stop by for morning visits and evening visits. on the weekends I can be there as much or as little as possible At my house I have a husky who's pretty big and when he 1st meets a dog he barks a lot but then they become friends. At your house If you have a skittish dog or cat I know how to be present without being in their face or in their space. And if you have a loving dog I love to cuddle too. If you're going on a trip I don't mind getting your mail or packages and putting them in the house or whatever else you need done I am 85% working from home so I would be available more often. On the days that I am at the office, it will be about 4-6 hours between checkins during the day I will treat your fur babies as if they were my own. They have so much room to run and play inside and outside. We have great treats and toys. They will have a lot of fun.

About: I’ve always had dogs growing up and I had my own for 7 years. I miss him dearly and would love to be able to give part time lovins to others for now until I find another to call my own! I work full time as a mortician from 6a-6p but I have evenings and weekends free and even some day time availability to feed, walk, let out or just love some pups! About: For most of my life I have owned a dog and for all of my life I have loved dogs! As I kid, I helped care for my family dog, Dexter, until he was 17 years old. Currently, my wife and I have a 28 lb. Beagle/Lab mix Riley. She's such a joy in our lives. I know how important your dog is to you, so I will care for yours like she/he is mine, with lots of love, playtime, walks and great care. Now that I’m a stay-at-home dad I have so much more time to spend with Riley and you’re dog, too! From young puppies to seniors, I have cared for a wide range of sizes, needs, and breeds. In addition to walking and visiting with your dog, communication and updates are important services that I provide. When I am away from my pet, I want to know she's okay and receiving the best care. I'll send as many or as little photos of your fur baby as you'd like, so you can confidently know that she/he is being take care of; the photos will also give you a little smile to get you through the day. We also have a 9 year old cat, Moby. He keeps to himself and his cat tree on most days, but we occasionally receive some lap visits from him.

About: I have had pet dogs my whole life. My husband and I currently have one large dog that loves being around other dogs. We are constantly at the dog park or going on walks and would love to take your fury friend with us! My husband has Sundays and Mondays off and I work split shift morning and evening during the week, meaning I can come home for walks and bathroom breaks throughout the day and am off on weekends. We live in an apartment that has a fenced in dog park and is right across from a nature trail. We go to the dog park and on walks everyday.

About: I've had experience with all age ranges, i've taken care of litters all the way to senior dogs. I have experience with multiple different breeds as well as many years of learning animal social cues. Im currently working full time as a nurse, but when I am not at work I would love to fill my time walking adorable doggos! I have cared for a variety of breeds and owned many different breeds.
