About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and love them more than people so let me put all my dog-loving energy into spoiling yours! I work in education so am off during summer break (all of June through mid-July) and available to meet your dogs needs whether it’s a puppy working on training or a senior who needs to take it slow :) I work full time in education so have long break availability (winter and summer break). During the school year, I am mostly only available on weekends but can be flexible with some evenings during the week. Just let me know what you need! I will be respectful of your space when in your home. I can come in and out or sit and stay awhile to keep your pup company.

About: I have cared for my friend’s dogs while they are away many times. I enjoy providing animals with enrichment and making sure they get ample exercise. I am careful around new dogs to let them show me what kind of care they prefer, and strive to make my time with them as enjoyable as possible for both of us. I have full time evening employment. I am available to care for pets Sunday-Thursday 9am to 2pm (meaning my latest available visit would start at 1:30pm for an 30 min visit), and All day Fridays and Saturdays! I have lots of experience with sneaky animals who love eating things they are not supposed to eat or hiding in places they should not be. I am diligent with putting away foodstuffs and making sure doors/ screens are shut. Please let me know if your pet has these behaviors so I can be prepared before the visit.

About: Hi! I’m Katie, a medical student who recently moved to Kansas City. Between classes and studying, spending time with animals is one of my favorite ways to unwind and recharge. I’ve been a lifelong pet lover with years of hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs. I’ve had cats in my home since I was born, so I’m comfortable with everything from cuddles and playtime to litter box maintenance and administering basic care. About: I’ve loved animals of all kinds since I was a kid! For the last 8 years I have worked as a veterinary assistant working hands on with pets of all kinds including anxious pets, special needs pets, and geriatric pets. I’m comfortable giving medications or following specific directions for pets that need just a little more attention. I’m currently working part-time at an animal clinic, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pet! I go for walks twice daily already and your pet would make a perfect addition! I live in an apartment with my 13 year old cat, Juliet. Juliet is a very sweet cat but will typically hide when other pets are boarded in the home. My apartment is located in the Volker neighborhood with parks and plenty of walking trails nearby. For in home boarding, pets are welcome on my furniture including the bed. I am happy to follow any and all requests for boarding / caretaking inside your home, including giving medications either orally or injectables.

About: I grew up in a cat and dog household. My parents over the years have had four dogs. Ranging from pit mixes to labs. I often times pet sit for my friends whenever they go out of town. I have three of my own cats. My oldest cat is a senior at 16 years, my second is five years old, and my youngest is a seventh month old kitten. My cats have their own dietary restrictions so I understand the importance of respecting a strict pet diet. I often times pet sit for family and friends. Including overnights with their dogs. I am open to house-sit, drop in, or go on however long of a walk your best friend needs. I have a lot of experience taking care of pets in their own homes, making sure they are safe and comfortable. I have experience with different breeds and temperaments - cuddlers, partiers, grouches, and loungers all deserve love! I can’t wait to spend time with your best friend and give you peace of mind. I work full time, but work from home Mondays and Fridays. Currently I could do drop-ins and walks anytime Fridays through Mondays. For Tuesday through Thursday, I would only be available early morning and evening. I’m available any day for house sitting stays which includes overnight care in your home with evening and morning routines. We can discuss if midday drop-in or walk are needed on the days i’m in the office. Drop-ins include feeding, water refresh, play/potty time, and quick updates. Walks include a 30-minute walk at your dog’s usual pace, leash handling, water refill if needed, and notes to the owner. If your dog needs longer than 30 minutes, Incan also do a longer walk for an hour. I make a point to ensure pets are following their schedules and any training they are working on. I always make sure to double check any needs/wants with the owner, to make sure pets are at their most comfortable. Let me know how your pet thrives in their environment, the more details the better! They will always be on a leash when outside. They will get the extra attention and cuddles this holiday season. When watching/ boarding a dog at my house they will stay inside the house with me and have free range of the house, with me keeping my eye on them 24/7. I also have a large kennel in my bedroom for any dog if they prefer to sleep in a kennel. All doors are shut in the house to make sure they won’t get into any trouble
