I work in education so am off during summer break (all of June through mid-July) and available to meet your dogs needs whether it’s a puppy working on training or a senior who needs to take it slow :) I work full time in education so have long break availability (winter and summer break). During the school year, I am mostly only available on weekends but can be flexible with some evenings during the week. Just let me know what you need! About: I have raised dogs and cats through out my life, I currently have a rescue Shih Tzu named Gizmo who is nine years old and is great with other dogs. I’ve worked at a dog training kennel and I’ve worked in an animal shelter previously so I have experience with all breeds and temperaments as well as years of professional dog walking and pet sitting. I’m getting ready to go to school for dog grooming to add to my pet care skills and would love to take care of your pets to help make money for school! I will give your fur babies the love, care and attention they deserve. I also have experience administering medications including pills and insulin shots. I work short days outside my home starting early in the morning, but my partner works from home so your dog wouldn’t be left alone if you board with me! I’m available for in home visits or walks as well. We have a rescue Shih Tzu who is 9 years old and loves the company of other dogs, she’s not big on playing but she’s all about the snuggles and naps. I cater my care to each individual dog and am happy to discuss your pets needs. If you board with me your dog will get frequent walks and as much exercise as you request, we live in an apartment so I would be taking them out on a leash to walk around the neighborhood; we also have a fenced area specifically for letting dogs run around and play if that’s what you prefer. I am happy to crate them if you’d like or let them sleep in one of my dogs many beds, she sleeps in bed with us so she won’t mind! If I’m coming to your house I can follow any instructions you have for walking/ feeding/ administering medication I’ve done many walks and home visits for pet owners over the years, and my experience in animal shelters and dog training facilities had given me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and needs.

I am open to house-sit, drop in, or go on however long of a walk your best friend needs. I have a lot of experience taking care of pets in their own homes, making sure they are safe and comfortable. We can discuss if midday drop-in or walk are needed on the days i’m in the office. Drop-ins include feeding, water refresh, play/potty time, and quick updates. Walks include a 30-minute walk at your dog’s usual pace, leash handling, water refill if needed, and notes to the owner. If your dog needs longer than 30 minutes, Incan also do a longer walk for an hour. I make a point to ensure pets are following their schedules and any training they are working on. When watching/ boarding a dog at my house they will stay inside the house with me and have free range of the house, with me keeping my eye on them 24/7.
