About: *Please make sure your profile is accurate. I cannot accommodate pets that don’t get along with other animals.** I’ve had dogs my entire life and until recently was working at a vet clinic. I love animals and look forward to being able to help you with your fur babies! I have a very flexible schedule. I am available early mornings, mid-day/afternoon and late. I am open to long term or short term needs. Please make sure that your pet is dog friendly. Thanks!! ❤️ I do have a dog, Lola, who is very social and has yet to meet a dog she doesn’t want to play! I do live on the second floor so dogs will need to be able to go up and down stairs. I work remotely and can accommodate most schedules. I am able to walk early mornings, mid day and any time in the evenings as needed. I am able to walk as often as needed. Pets are treated like family and allowed on furniture as lomf as they aren’t chewers and pretty much have free range.
About: My name is Breanna. I provide dog & cat services in the Kansas City area. I have worked at vet clinics in the past and I have a ton of experience with our furry friends and have been working and caring for dogs my whole life—both causally and professionally. Big, extra large, small, tiny, rambunctious, chill, old, young, low maintenance, and animals that need a little extra care—you name it! I can handle it and it would be my pleasure to do so. I am available for short and long stays. One time jobs and reoccurring ones. If you have any specific questions or requests just let me know. I have a really flexible schedule and respond quickly. Feel free to contact me at anytime! Your 🐶 🐈 would be in great hands. 🐾 I am a server and student on summer break. I work 3 or 4 evenings a week doing 4-5 hour shifts. Days are flexible and can be shifted for certain and special needs. I do not board at my home. I will care for your pets exactly as you desire. Whether that be loose or with strict rules.
About: I have loved and owned animals as long as I can remember. I was raised with dogs, and other small animals! My daughter and I lost our Ollie in August 2022 at 4 years old to lung cancer and would love to care for your pet until we are ready for our next family member. I am comfortable taking care of pets of any age. I can provide food and water bowls, blankets, dog beds, stuffed toys, and I have a medium size kennel. All you need to bring is food, treats, leash/harness and any special comfort items. My daughter loves to go outside every chance she gets so they will have a lot of outside time when the weather permits. They will be allowed to roam the house as they want and are allowed on furniture – like I said- spoiled. I love to send pictures while you are gone to share their adventures while they are here. I work from home so I will be around a majority of the time to play and take care of your family member while they are here. I have a fenced in yard – it is a short fence so fence jumpers are probably not the best fit for me. We can crate them when we are gone if needed and will do our best to stick to their regular routine.

About: I treat every pet like they’re my own, taking the time to learn their little quirks, routines, and what makes them happiest. Whether your pet loves nonstop play or just wants a cozy place to relax, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for the whole time you’re away. I have experience with both energetic puppies and sweet senior pets. I can help reinforce basic training for puppies—like potty habits and leash manners—and I’m patient and gentle with older pets who may need a slower pace, extra attention, or medication support. I’ll also keep you in the loop with regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, loved, and in good hands. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy, so I naturally build it into my day rather than trying to squeeze it in. I like having a flexible routine that lets me give each pet real attention instead of rushing in and out. Most days, I plan around morning and evening visits when pets are usually most active or need their routine care. That might mean feeding, fresh water, litter box cleanup, potty breaks, or just spending a little time playing or keeping them company so they don’t feel lonely. I also like checking in with owners so they feel connected and reassured while they’re away. On a weekly basis, I organize my schedule so I can be consistent and dependable for each pet I’m caring for. I make sure there’s enough space in my routine to show up on time, follow instructions closely, and give every animal the same level of care and attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely—feeding schedules, walk routines, medication needs, and any specific house rules—so your pet feels secure in their familiar environment. I also make sure doors, gates, and any escape risks are always checked and secured before and after each visit. I take time to build trust with each pet at their own pace, especially shy or anxious animals. I approach calmly, respect their boundaries, and let them come to me when they’re ready. For more energetic pets, I make sure they get safe, positive outlets for play and exercise.
“Kate was awesome and kept me up to date on everything as she took my Siberian Husky for a walk. He tends to pull on a leash and even saw some deer while Kate was walking him and she kept control and had a nice walk with him. I will be using Kate plenty of times for walks in the future. You should to!”

About: I have always had a love for all kinds of animals. Ive enjoyed watching family and friends pets as well as caring for my own pets in my apartment. I'd love to get to know you and your unique pet and make them feel even more loved and appreciated. I have past background knowledge on pet nutrition, hygiene and behavior traits. I am currently starting school in March to gain my pharmacy technician certification, I would have open availability to provide assistance for you and your pets. I do have a dog with me, her name is Maze. Maze is a rescue, she stays in my room and going on walks multiple times a day as well as dog parks, she would love to have a friend. Maze eats 2 times a day once in the morning and once in the evening with a snack (can of tuna/shredded chicken) in the afternoon. Maze talks walks in a harness to provide safely,we do have an extra! I have cats as well, the are allowed to freely roam around with little latches that keep bedroom doors open just enough for them to go in and out, they are also fed twice a day with wet food and have dry kibble out for free feeding through the day, since they have smaller stomachs they eat more frequently, howver the dry food is only filled once it runs out completely, the cats also have a running water fountain as well as other water bowls on elevated surfaces. Their are plenty of pet beds, toys and treats, if their are any allergies please let me know!
“Kyle has been great! He has great energy and our pups love him. He has great communication. He's punctual, he's flexible, and he has pockets full of treats. He has even been working with our baby to stop her from pulling on walks. I am so happy to have found him.”

About: I’ve grown up taking care of dogs as well as watching my neighbors dogs. I am familiar with feeding, walking, playing, grooming, etc! I often take care of my neighbor’s two dogs who require me to feed them, play with them, walk them, and more. I’m a 4th year architecture student working on a furniture piece so my schedule is pretty open. I can drop in as needed or whatever we discuss works best for your furry friend! I love watching dogs and playing with them! I enjoy throwing toys for them, taking them outside, riding in the car, and just spending time with them in general.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)

About: Hi! I’m Casey and I have three dogs and three cats. I would love to help you care for your animals! I’ve gone through obedience training with each of my own dogs and love incorporating it into walks. I’m a substitute teacher and love spending my time walking dogs. I usually choose to sub a couple days a week and walk or do drop ins the other days! When walking dogs I make sure to check the weather and watch the pups body language. I also know walking on a leash can be difficult for some dogs and I have worked with my own dogs on pulling and reactivity.

About: hi! i’m lex :) animals have always been a huge part of my life and pet sitting is something i genuinely love doing, not just a side job to me. i have about 9 years of experience caring for pets and spent years house sitting for my aunt, who had 5 cats, 4 dogs, and even a koi fish pond. every animal had different diets, routines, personalities, and needs, so i got really comfortable managing all kinds of care and keeping everything organized. i also have experience with senior and special needs pets, including a diabetic cat who needed insulin checks and shots. i know how nerve wracking it can feel leaving your pets with someone else, especially when they need extra care, so i always try to make both pets and owners feel as comfortable as possible. after my aunt passed away, i realized how much i missed taking care of animals and being around them every day, which is what pushed me to start looking for more pet sitting opportunities again. even though i have a cat of my own and live with the sweetest pitty boy ever, i still really miss getting to care for lots of different animals and all of their unique little personalities and routines. i also spend a lot of my free time researching different dog breeds, behaviors, body language, and breed-specific needs because i genuinely find it interesting and love understanding animals better. i know every pet is different and i always try to meet them where they’re at, whether they’re energetic, anxious, stubborn, clingy, older, or just need a little extra patience. i’m the kind of person who will talk to your pets like they’re people, send you way too many updates and pictures, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away :) i’m finishing up this semester of school on may 12th, so from may 12th through the end of may my schedule is very flexible and i’ll have a lot of availability for walks, drop ins, and house sitting. starting in june, i’ll be training in a patient care tech program at a hospital while working toward nursing school, so my availability will become a little more structured during weekdays. most of my training shifts are daytime hours, but i’ll still have availability before/after shifts and on many weekends. once i finish training, i’ll be continuing to work at the hospital while starting school back up in the fall, but i’m very open to discussing schedules and figuring out something that works well for both of us. communication and reliability are really important to me, and i’ll always be upfront about my availability :) i always try to keep pets comfortable by sticking closely to their normal routine, feeding schedule, and care instructions. i pay close attention to body language and behavior so pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. i also love sending updates and pictures so owners can feel reassured :)

Northmoor dog parents share their Rover experiences
Maria is amazing! You just know she will be the perfect fit once you meet her. We used her for our 105lb doberman and she was so great with him and took some amazing pictures that we will always treasure. Our dog was on hospice care for an enlarged heart and she was confident with an emergency plan that really set our minds at ease while we had to work. The week she walked our baby we knew he was having amazing walks and being taken care of. She is personable, and we appreciate her great communication. I know we would have used her for a very long time.
