About: I have a pet of my own, specifically a cat. I have taken care of many of my families dogs and cats when needed. I play soccer at UMKC and am able to keep up with high energy dogs. I am currently going to school at UMKC and will have lots of time in my morning and throughout the day to come by and check on your loved ones! I am not in season at the moment, so I will be available on weekends. I will be respectful to your home by taking my shoes off and being calm and quiet when entering the home. I will lightly call for your pet while cracking the door open to let them know I am not a threat.

3. Emily B.
“Emily is an amazing, animal loving person who volunteers her time working with homeless animals at KCK Animal Services. Emily works one on one with the scared babies who have be neglected and abused and she gains their trust and helps them heal. Emily also works on leash manners with the new pups, one being the 100lb mastiff. It’s amazing to watch how with a little training and consistency the pups get better. Emily is great at following directions and also great at being a leader and someone people feel they can go to!”

9. Bridget O.
About: I’ve lived with 3 dogs since I was in high school over 10 years ago and share a dog, Charlie, with my former partner, but he doesn’t live with me. I love animals and pride myself on being reliable for great care for your pet. I work from home currently so will have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets and host at a restaurant for 4-5 hours at a time a few days per week, but pets are welcome if that’s too long of a gap! I don’t have any pets and live in a very walkable neighborhood with a dog park less than a block from me for dedicated play time and potty breaks.
10. Kathryn H.
“Kathryn was recommended to me by a good friend. Ozzie absolutely loves her. I love all the photos she takes of them together on their walks. It was hard for me to get a walker but I'm so glad I found Kathryn. My mind is at ease knowing Ozzie is in great hands!”
11. Melissa L.
“You won’t find a more loving animal sitter than Melissa. She is the epitome of an animal lover. Melissa has shown nothing but warmth and attentiveness to my two dogs and understands exactly what my expectations are for taking care of them the way that I do and applies it whenever she’s around my pups. I highly recommend Melissa if you’re looking for that person who cares deeply for animals and shows that care 100% when she is responsible for them.”
12. Amanda F.
“I had an older Great Pyrenees that needed a lot of care, and I used to work nights. Amanda would go above and behind and tend to my dog on the days that I couldn’t. This ranged from walking my dog, feeding him, and occasionally grooming him.”
13. Rachel B.
About: All my life I have had dogs and cats at home. I’ve always enjoyed not only spending time with my own pets, but also my friends and neighbors pets! I’ve pet sat on many occasions for both dogs and cats (and even a turtle!). I am a pet lover and I am more than happy to take care of any other pets you have besides your doggo. I will gladly scoop some poop and feed all the pets you have! Along with dog walks, I would love to take your dog for a run too (only if they like running of course)! I can’t wait to love on your fur babies and make sure they feel comfortable and loved when you’re away from the home.

16. Nathaniel & Courtney B.
“Nathaniel is the best! My dog was generally very timid around men, but Nathaniel’s gentle composure and patience led them to be best buds. My doggie unfortunately has passed, but I know his life was better having Nathaniel in it. 💖”
17. Mika D.
About: Brand new to Rover and looking forward to my first bookings! I grew up on a farm with animals ranging from cats and dogs to bunnies and goats. I have trained puppies, lived out the final moments of our senior animals’ lives and was there to care for them every step in between. I currently have two dogs and a cat myself. The dogs are 6 and 2. A pit bull mix and golden retriever who are best friends (with the exception that the younger occasionally gets on the older one’s nerves). And our cat is a fluffy, friendly trouble maker. Whether it be people or pets, I love all types of personalities. I feel equipped to tend to any of your pets needs, physical and mental, for a positive experience for everyone. I work full time in administration for a health center. My job allows for hybrid work so am home the majority of the week. This leads to a flexible, reliable schedule to be able to do a side gig such as this. It also allows me to be home with my 2 dogs, Goku and Woody, and cat, Brinx! I am well versed in the love, care, attention and needs of four legged family members and look forward to being able to spend time with yours!
18. Laurelle R.
“Laurelle is amazing with my Great Dane puppy. She understands the needs of my giant girl, and makes afternoon walks fun.”
19. Abigail M.
“Abby is a kind soul and loves dogs of all shapes and sizes. Abby’s family has two dogs of their own and it is a pleasure to get to see her interaction with both of them. You can tell that she has extreme comfort around animals and takes great care of the dogs she calls her own. Abby would give great care to your animals, just as if they were her own! Anyone (or dog) would be lucky to be around the positivity that Abby radiates!”
20. Chance M.
“Chance is exactly the kind of person you want caring for your pets. He loves them all like they are his own regardless of what kind of animal they are. Dogs, cats, reptiles, horses, the list goes on and he loves them all!”
