About: I am a huge animal person and love to take care and play with your pets of any kind! I have been cat sitting and dog walking for years for family and neighbors, and have always been there for even a short pop-in visit. Working in my local animal shelter I specialized in both feline and canine care, and know everything about keeping your pet happy and healthy. I have two cats of my own that I treat like my babies and grew up with dogs all my life, and I hope I can treat your pets as good as my own! I recently retired from my full time job and have plenty of time to devote to dog walks and pet visits. My schedule is flexible and we should be able to work something out. I would follow the pets routine as instructed by the owner and be sure to keep it as stress free for the pet as possible. I make sure the pet receives plenty of attention and affection.
About: I’ve loved animals of all kinds since I was a kid! For the last 8 years I have worked as a veterinary assistant working hands on with pets of all kinds including anxious pets, special needs pets, and geriatric pets. I’m comfortable giving medications or following specific directions for pets that need just a little more attention. I of course love pets of all ages whether that’s playing with young pets or giving older pets more accommodations. I’m currently working part-time at an animal clinic, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pet! I go for walks twice daily already and your pet would make a perfect addition! I live in an apartment with my 13 year old cat, Juliet. Juliet is a very sweet cat but will typically hide when other pets are boarded in the home. My apartment is located in the Volker neighborhood with parks and plenty of walking trails nearby. For in home boarding, pets are welcome on my furniture including the bed. I am happy to follow any and all requests for boarding / caretaking inside your home, including giving medications either orally or injectables.
