About: Experience with both puppies to senior dogs that need special care from medicine to food. Focus on your fur baby snuggle time to walks in the park I am retired so available to pet care 24 hours and focus on specific needed routine for your fur baby. I have a walking trails and take them for walks. I keep your fur baby in my home. We go outside on lease to the bathroom and have trails and park next to house so go on multiple walks in a day.

About: Training I’m a Kansas City local and professional dog trainer, and I work with dogs at all different stages of training. This can be anything from puppies learning the basics, leash walking, and obedience to dogs who need a little more help navigating the world. I also have experience working with more challenging behaviors, including reactivity, aggression, and bite histories. Every dog is different, so I focus on creating an approach that fits the individual dog and their goals. My goal is to help dogs become calmer, more confident, and create more freedom in everyday life with your dog. Boarding When your dog stays with me, they get to be part of my normal day-to-day life rather than spending their stay in a kennel. I keep a structured, calm home environment where dogs have plenty of time to relax, get exercise, and enjoy themselves. Depending on the dog, their personality, and what they’re comfortable with, we may go for walks, visit a coffee shop, run errands, or simply hang out at home. I enjoy giving dogs the opportunity to experience new things while still making sure they have plenty of downtime and a comfortable place to settle. I’m happy to accommodate all kinds of personalities, whether your dog is outgoing and social, a little more reserved, or happiest just hanging out by my side. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. I structure my life around both my personal dogs and the dogs in my care. Most days start with exercise with the dogs, followed by some structured downtime. Throughout the day, I’ll typically have a handful of training sessions, which means I may be out of the house for a couple of hours at a time. Occasionally, I work as an Occupational Therapist at a local hospital, which can mean being away for up to 8 hours. On those days, the dogs get exercise before I leave and again when I get home, and I’ll likely plan an outing or some extra activity that afternoon. I keep a good balance of activity, structure, and downtime so dogs get plenty of attention without feeling like they have to be “on” all day. Safety is my top priority with every dog in my care. I have several kennels that I size appropriately for each dog, as well as a 6x6 indoor run for dogs who are more comfortable with additional space as well as a fenced backyard. When dogs are not directly supervised, they will always be either safely kenneled or in a secure indoor run. I also have two personal dogs who are well-balanced and respectful around other dogs and are occasionally part of my training and socialization work. I have extensive experience understanding dog-to-dog social dynamics and canine behavior, which allows me to meet each dog where they are and recognize the individual needs, boundaries, and comfort levels of the dogs in my care. My goal is to create an environment where every dog can feel safe, comfortable, and understood.
