About: Hi! I'm Michelle, I've been dogsitting for friends and family since ~2016 and finally became a dog mom in 2020--it's the best! My husband, Brad, and I both love animals and are excited to join the Rover sitter community. We are comfortable with dogs of any age and any breed, and would care for your dog as if s/he were our own. We can administer medications as needed (we mostly have experience with oral and topical meds, but are willing to learn what's needed for your furry friend) and are very attentive to your dog's diet and feeding regime. We can't wait to welcome your dog into our home while you are away! Michelle works from home so your dog won't be on their own for long periods while staying at our home. We love taking our dog, Joni, on walks (& runs) everyday (we usually go several times each day) and we have a large fenced in yard for additional playtime, so your pup will get lots of outside time to burn off energy and sniff. Your dog will have full access to our home, just as our Joni does, with a variety of toys and bed options (including couches) available throughout the day. You'll get regular photo updates of your pup's adventures while you're away (unless otherwise requested). My husband and I have a large, fenced in backyard that's perfect for zoomies and playtime, and live in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Our 6 year old pup, Joni, is always looking for new friends and someone to share her toys with (she's up to date on her vaccinations and preventative meds and ask that your dog be as well). If your dog is crate trained, we'd be happy to find a space to set that up for them in our home during their stay, or they are welcome to use Joni's old crate which we can set up if needed. Additionally, feel free to bring any toys or bedding/blankets that help make your dog feel at home; we want him/her to have what they need to be comfy while you are away.
About: I’ve been pet sitting and fostering with KCPP for over 10 years and truly love caring for animals. While I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to caring for pets. References are available upon request! Through the years I’ve cared for dogs with different personalities, sizes, and energy levels, medical conditions, and I understand that every pet has unique needs and routines. I’m big on following your instructions exactly, as no one knows your furry loved one the way you do. I also have personal experience caring for a senior dog, which taught me patience, attentiveness, and the importance of paying close attention to comfort, routines, and changing needs. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and understand how important consistency can be, especially for older dogs. Whether your dog loves walks and playtime or prefers a slower pace with extra cuddles and attention, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I currently work full-time remotely from home, from 6am-2pm. Then I nanny from 3-6pm. The only time I’m unavailable for drop-ins is during my nanny shift from 3-6pm, my full-time job allows me a lot of flexibility. I find it very important to follow a pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. In a client’s home, I respect their space and keep things clean, calm, and consistent. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water at all times, medications as needed, and get the right amount of playtime and attention based on their needs and energy level. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality, whether they need extra cuddles, a slower pace, or lots of activity—and I adjust my care accordingly. I’m also comfortable caring for senior dogs and understand the importance of patience, gentle handling, and monitoring for changes in comfort or behavior. Since I’m new to Rover but have years of dog sitting experience, I take communication seriously and follow instructions carefully while providing updates. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and stress-free while their owners are away, while also bringing peace of mind to their owners that their pets are being lovingly and properly cared for.
“Kylie is great! She was on time, took fantastic care of our dog, and left a detailed report card. No communication issues, and she took care of everything we asked for, with additional thought and care.”

About: We have 2 dogs that enjoy making new friends! We have a fully fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run and play. Our dogs are very social and get along with others quickly. Memphis has been certified as a therapy dog in which we utilized positive reinforcement training techniques. Mollee and Memphis are always happy to host a play date! Our work schedules vary from week to week, but we will have both weekday and weekend availability. We let the dogs come in and out as they please (weather permitting). Our dogs get plenty of exercise throughout the week and we also routinely work on training techniques. Our backyard is fully fenced in, we have lots of toys to play with and surveillance cameras for added safety measures. Pets are allowed on furniture in our house and we also have plenty of dog beds for napping! Special accommodations can be provided upon request.

“Ron is great and SO reliable. I never wonder for even a moment whether he’ll show up as scheduled or care for our dogs as we request. I can see in the photos he takes that the dogs greet him at the door with toys to show off to him — an unmistakable sign that they are happy to see him!”

“I have very pleased to have Michael care fore my seven year old cat for over four years. When I am away from home I am confident that my cat will be well cared for during those periods.”

“Becky was a lifesaver with a last minute request! This was our first experience using Rover and we feel so lucky to have found Becky. We enjoyed the updates during her visits and returned home to 2 very well cared for doggos. She even brought in our mail! ?”

“Emma took care of our pets, stopping in every day for a week. She was always on schedule and followed the instructions that we left. She also sent pics to let us see how they were doing. Will definitely hire again!”

“August dropped in on our cats while we were away and we are so thankful for their help! They did an excellent job making sure our cats were well taken care of and got the meds they needed. We will definitely be using August in the future!”

“They did an amazing job with Bonney and were extremely thorough in keeping me updated. I’m already trying to book with them again! Would 100% recommend them to anyone and everyone.”

Abby was great! She was responsive, on time and went above and beyond in taking care of our Aussie! She was thoughtful and detailed with her drop-ins notes with a few photos each time! We definitely will be checking if she is available next time we need care for our pup!

Stephanie was amazing at watching my 3 babies. Always punctual and made enjoying my vacation that much more exciting because i knew they were in good hands. She always has something positive to say when leaving the rover card after each visit. Will most definitely remember for future bookings!! Couldn't be more pleased 😊

Amber came to our home for the first time to sit with our new (to us) dog Rigsby. Amber not only arrived on time she followed our guidelines to a tee. Rigsby took to her immediately which allowed me to get to my appointment on time. I would highly recommend this young lady to help you with your dog needs.

I cannot thank Griffin enough for my last minute request coverage. Nothing makes you more anxious than worrying about who is caring for your baby. I know she was a little stand offish at first but he was patient and took great care of her. Would definitely hire again!

Vanessa has a way of putting animals at ease that is so impressive! She is a very thoughtful caretaker who asks great questions and shares fun things she notices about our boys. As a reactive dog mom, I felt comfortable leaving our dog in her care and she went above and beyond to show them extra care and communicated well with us!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
