“Ashley is always so good with our pup. My husband and I have random workdays where we are both out of the house for extended hours and Ashley’s so helpful and flexible! Our pup loves her walks with her and we love how good she is with her”

About: I have dog sat and cared for many other dogs and animals before. I will always make sure the animals are well treated for and the house is taken care of. I am very friendly and strive to make sure every experience is friendly. I have two dogs of my own. I am excited to be able to take care of your dogs and make sure they get what they need while you are away from home. Something that sets me apart from other sitters and walkers is that I am very client forward and will work to meet your needs. I am currently working part time, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups, I am available for walks and check ins Monday/wednesday/ thursday and house sitting Monday- Sunday! I follow all directions owners leave for me to care for their dog and home.I also help run errands while owners are away, and in warmer months I take care of indoor and outdoor plants
About: (Note: for pet sitting, I am unable to stay overnight in homes due to my own pet needing overnight care. I can come over early and stay later on sitting requests.) I’ve been around animals my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. Currently, I live with a dog, two cats, and a snake, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of pet personalities and care needs. From energetic pups to shy reptiles, I understand that every pet is unique and deserves personalized care. I treat my animals like family and will do the same for yours. I work from home in Roeland Park as a public health professional, which gives me some flexibility. I’m available for quick check-ins or potty breaks during my lunch hour, as well as before and after my 9–5 workday. My weekends are generally wide open, so if you’re traveling or just have a packed schedule, I’m happy to provide extra attention, walks, or longer visits. I know how important it is to feel confident in the person caring for your pets and your home. I provide dependable, respectful care and do my best to keep your pets’ routines consistent and stress-free. Whether it’s administering food, meds, or giving belly rubs, I’ll make sure your pets are safe, comfortable, and cared for like they’re my own.
“Valerie is amazing. Our dogs love her and she always sends the cutest photos. She plays fetch with our hyper dog and cuddles with our lazy dog. She will definitely be my go to when I need a sitter”

“Evelyn did an amazing job. My cat normally doesn’t like people and she was giving her cuddles every time she visited. I highly recommend because animas love her and she always sends daily pics to reassure your pet is happy .”
“Caleb was great! Went above and beyond expectations. Communicated with me with every drop In with pictures and update . Great with dogs and responsible with my home. I definitely will request Caleb again. I had requested drop in twice a day with a walk for 4 days . Again can not thank you enough for your help!”

About: I’ve grown up with pets all my life and have dealt with many different pet personalities. I’m good at being able to tell what they need. I’ve taken care of kittens as young as 4 weeks and senior animals as well. I am taking up pet sitting jobs between my part time job and other summer activities during my summer break. I set my daily routine around the pet sitting when I do not have work. Respecting the animals boundaries and their space as well as the space of the owner. I will be mindful that the home I am entering is not my own and try not to disturb anything in the space.

“Lori is a great dog sitter. I appreciate not only how good she is with my resident dogs but also how well she cares for the more timid foster dogs who stay with me at times. She is very trust worthy and thorough.”

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life. My husband and I currently have 3 cats and 2 dogs of our own - all rescues! We tend to gravitate towards the more challenging types, (older, behaviorally "challenged", or generally the "once you get to know them, they're really sweet" type). I've managed two different Doggy Day Care facilities: one here in KC, and another in White Plains, NY. I've also got years of experience working with dog rescue groups here in KC. Because of all this experience, there's no pet I can't handle. I'm comfortable with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes and attitudes! My current full time job is 100% remote, so I'm very flexible when it comes to your pet care needs, (pop-ins or longer stays. As long as you have wifi, I'm good). From my time working in professional pet care, I'm very used to all types of situations. I free-feed my own pets, but I have no problem following your feeding/care schedules, or maintaining a medication regimen.

“Kara has been watching my cat on and off for the past year. She is incredibly reliable and always responds quickly to a request. This last booking I was gone for almost a week and she noticed that my cat was lonely and offered to spend extra time with him the next day to help lift his spirits. I couldn’t recommend her enough for you furbabe. Thanks Kara!!!”

“Ella was SO great!! Helped me out with our dog rather last minute, and was very accommodating when we needed to add extra drop ins. She communicated well and was able to do a few quick things for us at the house too. My dog is not the biggest fan of people she doesn’t know so it was a relief to find someone that was so accommodating. Highly recommend! .”

About: I recently left an executive position with an animal welfare nonprofit/veterinary clinic. In my newly acquired free time, I'd love to help you with your pet(s)! I have handling experience and am comfortable with both dogs and cats. If you have a nervous animal, I'm happy to try to ease in to being their new friend. I also have experience administering medication to pets. Until I decide to seek another full-time position, I'm available most days and some evenings. I would be open to regularly scheduled walks or drops ins for the next several weeks. Our family has 2 cats and 3 dogs and we love them all dearly. I've also fostered for KC Paws as well as my former organization.
“Jennifer was great! She came over once a day to feed the cat and clean the litter box. I got lots of updates and photos. It was nice to get messages from someone who enjoyed hanging out with my cat.”
“Monica provided great care for my cat like she always does. she provided pictures and videos of him and also gave updates as she did the drop ins. Monica administered his insulin well and with care! My cat loves her!”

Roeland Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Grace! You are so wonderful! Thank you so much for watching our boys! We were out of town for an extended holiday and it was so relieving seeing how much fun the boys had with Grace. We anxiously waited for photos and the report card and were never disappointed. She took amazing care of them and we can not thank her enough!

Nancy was so great! She was punctual, professional, and very nice and loving to our two pups. She communicated clearly and was very reliable. She sent a lot of good photos of our pups and made us very comfortable with being away from them. We would absolutely ask her to pet sit again!

This was our first time using Rover and we are super pleased with the service. Melissa came to hour home at the exact times requested. Our young dog and two cats all seem to take to her immediately. Even our scary cat made appearances. Would absolutely recommend her for any pet sitting needs.
