“Marlee is the best! This is my 5th or 6th time using her to cat sit and her attention to detail is amazing! She’s always so loving and truly cares for your pets.”

“Michelle was amazing! I was a little worried after we had a sitter last year that didn't meet our expectations but Michelle met all of them! She was great with Neeley during her initial visit and I know Neeley was in good hands for the entire week. I really appreciated Michelle's consistent check-ins and pictures as well!”
“Emily did a drop-in visit with our two big dogs to let them out and give them some attention. She did everything we needed her to do and the dogs got plenty of love. We will definitely use her again soon.”

“Becky was a lifesaver with a last minute request! This was our first experience using Rover and we feel so lucky to have found Becky. We enjoyed the updates during her visits and returned home to 2 very well cared for doggos. She even brought in our mail! ?”

“Lauren is fantastic. Our dog is shy and fearful; Lauren took the time to get to know her and provided excellent service. We hope to be a recurring client. Thank you so much, Lauren!”

“Alison was wonderful with our two kitties! Made us feel so much better being away, knowing they were in such good hands. Highly recommend her as your go-to pet sitter!”

“Beth is very nice, punctual and caring. Beth did an amazing job checking on Lea (my cat) while I was out of town. She gave her medicine and then sat and played with her a bit after feeding her too. It was such a relief knowing someone was checking on her and taking care of her. I would definitely re-book with Beth!”

About: I have grown up with dogs of all ages my whole life and helped take care of them. I am very active, love dogs and would love to be able to help people walk their dogs. Since I already regularly go on walks, dog walking fits right into my schedule and gives me a good reason to keep walking every day. Getting a sense for the kind of dog, and their personality is definitely big. Always go into it as gently as possible. For walking, looking for the size and how in shape the dog is for the duration of the walk, and making sure it’s not too much.

About: -- Grew up with medium sized dogs. Our parents bred our dogs, so I am versed in the young puppy stage. -- Lived with cats, aiding with their care I love any and all furry creatures and am always down to make a new furry friend. Any questions, just ask! I currently am working part-time and have time to take care of dogs and cats alike. I have yet to meet a furry friend that I don't get along with. I adapt to each pet's home environment and/or training. Consistency and routine is important for any animal and I strive to incorporate that both in my personal and professional life.
“Highly recommend! We got great communication and felt like our dog was very well taken care of, which is all a pet owner wants when they are out of town!”

“This is our first time using Rover and we’re so happy we’ve found Faith to take care of our puppy! She did 1 one hour drop in for us, and sent us a few pictures and a video of Peanut. We will definitely use her services again and highly recommend Faith to anyone looking for a loving and attentive pet sitter.”

“Lily did a fabulous job caring for our 2 senior cats for 2 weeks. She made clear efforts to befriend them, and her communications and updates were great. She has made leaving our babies alone far less stressful. We will happily book her again.”

“We have used Dalton twice now. Alice (Senior lab) and Priscilla (blind Senior chihuahua) are very happy with him. He goes above and beyond for them. It gives us peace of mind knowing they're in good hands when we are away and I don't trust my dogs with just anyone.”

About: I grew up with dogs in my home and had a dog myself until recently. My wife has had a similar history, but also took care of a variety of farm animals. I started dog sitting for friends while I lived in various places on the east coast prior to starting with Rover in California in 2019. We hope to rescue another dog of our own in the near future, but until then, we will be spoiling your pup with belly rubs. We are friendly, reliable and trustworthy young-professional, who can't wait to meet your 4-legged best friend and will care for dogs of any age and size. Don't be shy to message us with any questions, as we want to make sure you are 100% comfortable before handing over the leash. My wife and I work from home full time, which allows us to spend extra quality time with the pets during the weekdays. We are typically early risers already, so morning potty breaks require no adjustment to our sleep schedules. First time clients will be required to participate in a preliminary meet & greet session. This will allow us to meet you and your pet in person. It’s a nice gesture for us humans, but it is essential for most dogs to be able to feel comfortable with a new person watching after them for the first time; your pet’s comfort and safety are our No. 1 priorities! During house sitting meet & greets, please feel free to show us parts of the home you’d want us to be aware of and advise of important routines (gardeners, pool staff etc) that you may want us to continue during your time away from home.
“Allison was great, she was easy to get a hold of and was always on time. Allison was great with both my dog and cat and the pets really liked her. She even went the extra mile and changed her schedule so it would work better for us. I would recommend her and look forward to working with her again in the future.”

“Brittany did such a great job with my babies! At the meet and greet my skittish dog went right up to her and she automatically started playing fetch with my outgoing pup. The pictures and updates were great and I know my babies were well taken care of! 100% would recommend. Thanks Brittany!”

About: My name is Arizza Bea, but I go by my middle name Bea (Bey-yah)! Im an Architecture student who loves to be around pets ♥️ Caring for pets isn’t just something I do—it’s something I love. With years of experience, I make sure every dog and cat feels safe, happy, and loved. I grew up having pet dogs and cats. I took care of my friends and coworkers pets too. For dog walking clients, i make sure your dog is safe and enjoying the walk. I also know how to leash train, so just say it and i can do it! Discounts for repeat clients! I am flexible, day or evening , hours from 30mins to 4hrs or whole evening. I can help you, just let me know and we can negotiate! I have 2 cats at home. In my home, pets get love, playtime, and comfort just like family. In your home, I follow routines closely, ensuring care, safety, and happy paws. I make sure I stick to their routines and keep them comfortable with a new person like me around! I do this for fun and love for pets, so the only thing I want out of this is to meet as many pups and cats as I can and give them and the owners a happy and relaxed experience. Grace! You are so wonderful! Thank you so much for watching our boys! We were out of town for an extended holiday and it was so relieving seeing how much fun the boys had with Grace. We anxiously waited for photos and the report card and were never disappointed. She took amazing care of them and we can not thank her enough!

Allison was absolutely exceptional with my girls, Bella and Izzy while we went on vacation. She went above and beyond every single day, showering both pups with so much love and care. My ball-obsessed Lab had the best time when Allison played ball with her (even in the snow)—she really embraced her endless energy and made sure she got all the play she craves. Izzy got her special walks too! She did all the little extras, sent tons of adorable photos and updates so I never worried once while on our trip. I could tell from every message that both Bella and Izzy were getting the best possible care. Allison is incredibly reliable, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about what she does. I felt completely at peace having her help with my dogs and I can’t wait to book with her again soon. Highly recommend Allison to anyone looking for a trustworthy, loving sitter—she’s a true gem!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
