About: Hi! I'm Michelle, I've been dogsitting for friends and family since ~2016 and finally became a dog mom in 2020--it's the best! My husband, Brad, and I both love animals and are excited to join the Rover sitter community. We are comfortable with dogs of any age and any breed, and would care for your dog as if s/he were our own. We can administer medications as needed (we mostly have experience with oral and topical meds, but are willing to learn what's needed for your furry friend) and are very attentive to your dog's diet and feeding regime. We can't wait to welcome your dog into our home while you are away! Michelle works from home so your dog won't be on their own for long periods while staying at our home. We love taking our dog, Joni, on walks (& runs) everyday (we usually go several times each day) and we have a large fenced in yard for additional playtime, so your pup will get lots of outside time to burn off energy and sniff. Your dog will have full access to our home, just as our Joni does, with a variety of toys and bed options (including couches) available throughout the day. You'll get regular photo updates of your pup's adventures while you're away (unless otherwise requested). My husband and I have a large, fenced in backyard that's perfect for zoomies and playtime, and live in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Our 6 year old pup, Joni, is always looking for new friends and someone to share her toys with (she's up to date on her vaccinations and preventative meds and ask that your dog be as well). If your dog is crate trained, we'd be happy to find a space to set that up for them in our home during their stay, or they are welcome to use Joni's old crate which we can set up if needed. Additionally, feel free to bring any toys or bedding/blankets that help make your dog feel at home; we want him/her to have what they need to be comfy while you are away.

About: One of the happiest days of my life was when my parents surprised us with a dog for Christmas as a kid. I have a year of working at a dog daycare under my belt and come from a family of dog lovers (seriously we'll watch entire dog shows together and commentate it the whole time). Even though my dog has recently passed, I am very excited to help care for your dog!!! Currently my schedule is wide open for looking after dogs! Recent college graduate in graphic design, not a great market out there lol... so looking for something to do. Fenced in backyard with plenty of space to roam. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, and love walking around town. My sibling is a dog groomer and is also quite capable at caring for dogs in case I'm not around. Lauren was the absolute best! Meeting w her previously to scheduling visits, I could tell she was a real animal lover. My old girl Chloe was recently diagnosed with diabetes and I had only just started medication when I needed to schedule a sitter due to work. I was naturally a nervous wreck but Lauren was extremely competent & communicative. She sent me a bunch of updates and photos every time she stopped by and went above and beyond to make me feel better about leaving Chloe to someone else. As a pet owner I was looking for a reliable cat sitter to visit my home while I was away. Lori followed all my instructions and even stayed in my home until her 30-minute visit time was over for each drop in visit! I feel comfortable using Rover to find my pet sitter when needed and allowing their pet sitters to come into my home. Lori came and did a meet and greet, asked me questions the same week I was looking for a cat sitter. She was very responsive and observed my home. She offers to bring in any packages left on the porch and my mail if needed while she cared for my cat. Lori sent me pictures of my cat the day she visited. I would use Lori again.
