About: Hi, I’m Claire! I’m a college student who’s been around dogs my whole life. I honestly can’t imagine life without them. My family has owned puppies, big dogs, old dogs, and small dogs, so I know how different their personalities and needs can be. I have always helped out with taking care of my family's dogs by walking, running around in the backyard, cuddling, and providing food/water. Additionally, over the past several years, I have taken care of my neighbors' pets by doing drop-ins when they were out of town. So whether it’s going for a walk, playing their favorite game, or just hanging out, I love spending time with dogs and making sure they’re happy and comfortable. I’d love the chance to care for your furry friend! Hi, I’m Claire! I’m a college student home for the summer and looking for something fun and meaningful to do on the weekends. I’ll be working full-time during the week, but I have availability most weekends. I currently only list weekend availability on my page since my weekday schedule can be a bit unpredictable. Note about boarding: I live at home with two dogs (a chihuahua and a Bernese Mountain Dog). Both dogs are super friendly and get along great with other dogs. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping everything consistent for them. I make sure they’re fed, walked, and cared for just like you would. I will always leave your home just as I found it and make sure all doors and dog crates are locked up when I leave. About: Hi! I'm Michelle, I've been dogsitting for friends and family since ~2016 and finally became a dog mom in 2020--it's the best! My husband, Brad, and I both love animals and are excited to join the Rover sitter community. We are comfortable with dogs of any age and any breed, and would care for your dog as if s/he were our own. We can administer medications as needed (we mostly have experience with oral and topical meds, but are willing to learn what's needed for your furry friend) and are very attentive to your dog's diet and feeding regime. We can't wait to welcome your dog into our home while you are away! Michelle works from home so your dog won't be on their own for long periods while staying at our home. We love taking our dog, Joni, on walks (& runs) everyday (we usually go several times each day) and we have a large fenced in yard for additional playtime, so your pup will get lots of outside time to burn off energy and sniff. Your dog will have full access to our home, just as our Joni does, with a variety of toys and bed options (including couches) available throughout the day. You'll get regular photo updates of your pup's adventures while you're away (unless otherwise requested). My husband and I have a large, fenced in backyard that's perfect for zoomies and playtime, and live in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Our 6 year old pup, Joni, is always looking for new friends and someone to share her toys with (she's up to date on her vaccinations and preventative meds and ask that your dog be as well). If your dog is crate trained, we'd be happy to find a space to set that up for them in our home during their stay, or they are welcome to use Joni's old crate which we can set up if needed. Additionally, feel free to bring any toys or bedding/blankets that help make your dog feel at home; we want him/her to have what they need to be comfy while you are away.

I cannot thank Griffin enough for my last minute request coverage. Nothing makes you more anxious than worrying about who is caring for your baby. I know she was a little stand offish at first but he was patient and took great care of her. Would definitely hire again!
So great. This was the first pet sitter I’d hired and she did amazing with our older cat. She gave her pills and so many cuddles while we were out of town.
