“Taryn was wonderful! She was kind, respectful, and made me feel like taking care of my kitty wasn’t just a job. She made him feel really at home and he can be pretty shy. I loved seeing the daily pictures. She was very flexible with my schedule as well which I so appreciate!! Would definitely recommend to anyone and would book again for sure. This was my first time using Rover and it was a lovely experience with her.”

“Sarah is so easy to work with and my two golden girls love her! I've used her for drop-in visits a few times now and she's been great. Would definitely recommend! :)”

“Ron is great and SO reliable. I never wonder for even a moment whether he’ll show up as scheduled or care for our dogs as we request. I can see in the photos he takes that the dogs greet him at the door with toys to show off to him — an unmistakable sign that they are happy to see him!”

“Allison was fantastic with our Boston Terriers! Over the top service. Communicaton was wo easy and the pictures were very much appreciated. I would not hesitate to book care with Allison again in the future.”

About: With over 50 years of hands-on experience in pet care. I've dedicated my life to understanding and supporting the well-being of animals, especially dogs. For 8 years, I have worked as a veterinary technician, where i gained in-depth medical knowledge and practical skills in animal heath, emergency care and preventative treatment. My background also includes extensive experience in both basic and advanced dog training focusing on obedience, behavior modification and building strong bods between pets and their owners. Over the decades I've cared for animals of all ages, breeds and temperaments - from raising litters of puppies and kittens to providing compassionate support for senior pets. My approach combines patience, consistency and a deep respect and love for every animal's unique personality and needs. Things to consider prior to booking: • Are they friendly with other pets? I have one dog and 3 cats in our home. • Are they able to jump a 5ft fence? • Are they protected against Heartworm, Fleas and Ticks? • Potty Trained? I am happy to help train but just need to know ahead of time. • Up to date on all vaccines? • Big chewers? • Let us know if your pet has any special need or accommodation we should account for! I can accommodate a variety of needs! I am happy to provide whatever care your pet needs & make sure they are happy & comfortable in our home. A few things to know about what I offer: 100% Love and Care I take photos of your pet (I am not a professional photographer) – I will try not to overwhelm you! I do not require a meet and greet but am happy to do so. My preference is to introduce your pet(s) to mine slowly and very controlled environment. SAFETY is my #1 Concern for your pets and for mine. What to bring for your stay: Collar with a tag & leash Food (Label with the amount per meal) - Slow feeder if needed Medications, if needed Kennel (for boarding stays) - Anything to make them comfortable in their kennel (blanket, toys, bed) I generally don’t use a kennel if they are good house guests (no destruction or accidents) they can have house privileges. I will provide: Water Bowls (I have many throughout the house and outside) Foods Bowls Toys - Treats - Chew bones & treats Dog beds around the house (I have many) A Typical Day can be: Wake up and take them out to potty (I have a big, fenced back yard). Feed them breakfast Out for potty about 2 hours (or sooner) after breakfast. Relax, play and/or snooze as they want. Potty breaks are directed by their needs, they let me know they need to potty, and we go outside (I am their servant, and I stay with them while they are outside). They potty and play and then we come in. This goes on all day as needed. Cuddles on command and if they just want to lay around, I’m ok with that as well. I have taken all my dogs (past and present) through many different levels of training session – Puppy, Basic and Advanced. Let me know what you need, and I am happy to help. SPECIAL NOTE with Regard to Cats Cats do their own things and totally dictate their day to day and I respect and honor their wishes! I do have a room set up that they can call their own (if needed) and I have a secure Catio they can hang out in and enjoy fresh air. Please know that I take my job of caring for your furbabies seriously and always put their safety first. As a caregiver, I treat the pets at home as if they were our own and do my very best to care for them. I offer my knowledge and experience to people who have busy lives but want the best for their furbabies. Your furbaby(s) will be given constant care and attention. All pets are kept separate at first until an evaluation is done and then I will introduce all pets in my care slowly, safely and securely. My number one priority is pet safety! I do have crates and room that pets can be separated, but my goal is to have them included in my home with full "house privileges". I am dependable, trustworthy and honest and can also take care of your pets in your home. I live on 3/4 acre and I have a large fenced in back yard. So there is lots of room to play and run. If you need to know anything else, please ask.
“Emily did a drop-in visit with our two big dogs to let them out and give them some attention. She did everything we needed her to do and the dogs got plenty of love. We will definitely use her again soon.”

“Fantastic kitten drop ins. 8 days. Cats seemed to warm up to her quickly. Great communication- pre-sitting visit to meet the cats was very helpful. No problems.”

“Melissa was fantastic, she made sure that our doggo was well taken care of while we were out of town! I really appreciated how responsive she was when we checked in about how things were going and including lots photos of their walks in her reports. We knew Charlie was in great hands with her.”

“This was the second time that Rachel took care of my boy while I was away, and this time it was a longer trip! She was wonderful, in playing with him, petting him, & responding promptly to my messages about him. She also threw out a dirty cat water filter for me & checked the auto feeder for me when I had some concerns about it. The other great thing was she sent through some great photos of my little boy.”

“Lori has looked after our boys (chihuahua and german shepherd mix) for many, many years. We always come home to happy relaxed fur babies. It is always such a comfort to know they are in her care, as I use to dread leaving them behind, I feel totally confident when Lori is with them!”

“Kelly was super communicative and showed up on time for each of the drop in visits with my cats. She took tons of photos and when I came home a week later the cats barely reacted, which lets me know they were well looked after and didn't feel starved for attention (or food!). I would definitely recommend Kelly!”

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life. My husband and I currently have 3 cats and 2 dogs of our own - all rescues! We tend to gravitate towards the more challenging types, (older, behaviorally "challenged", or generally the "once you get to know them, they're really sweet" type). I've managed two different Doggy Day Care facilities: one here in KC, and another in White Plains, NY. I've also got years of experience working with dog rescue groups here in KC. Because of all this experience, there's no pet I can't handle. I'm comfortable with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes and attitudes! My current full time job is 100% remote, so I'm very flexible when it comes to your pet care needs, (pop-ins or longer stays. As long as you have wifi, I'm good). From my time working in professional pet care, I'm very used to all types of situations. I free-feed my own pets, but I have no problem following your feeding/care schedules, or maintaining a medication regimen.

Once again the boys loved spending time with Patricia! She went above and beyond to change her schedule to make sure their auto feeder was still working after my cats had knocked it down and unplugged it. Also made sure to keep me updated even when the app wasn’t working to make the rover cards

Kelly was super communicative and showed up on time for each of the drop in visits with my cats. She took tons of photos and when I came home a week later the cats barely reacted, which lets me know they were well looked after and didn't feel starved for attention (or food!). I would definitely recommend Kelly!

Dalton is so accommodating with our changing busy lives. he's watched extra pets when we were dog sitting for family, he took my dog to the basement during a tornado siren, and has even picked up accidents in the house when we were training a new rescue. He is such a big help to our family and he treats our dogs so well.

Susan was great taking care of my two dogs, one with medication needs, and the other one with many opinions. She checked on them for a couple of days and over time won their trust. I will definitely look for Susan next time I need someone to take care of my pups.

Cannot say enough about Kennedy. I had updates all the time and pictures and this is the first time I left my dogs in someone else's care and I was 100% comfortable with her! She was amazing and so caring for my babies. And my dogs loved her! Not sure they were even excited to see me when I returned...LOL. A 5-star dog sitter for sure! Total dog person with a HUGE doggy heart!!!! Thanks Kennedy for all your sweet love and care for my boys!
