“Kim is extremely thoughtful and courteous. My 87# pitbull Chop loves spending time with Kim and always is ready for a nap when we get home. I would highly recommend anyone to use her services. Wendy Smith”

“This was my first time using Rover as our usual sitter was unavailable. Sarah and Cyrus responded to my request immediately for two drop ins for our kitten. They were great with communication, sharing photos, and letting me feel comfortable knowing our kitten was in good hands”

“Sara was wonderful with our cats! Even our very shy kitty was comfortable enough to come out on her second drop-in and we could tell she took good care of them while we were away.”

“Becky was absolutely amazing. She was available for a last minute scheduling for Drop-In Visits when our regular sitter was unavailable. She is very kind and friendly, but was fantastic with our dog, Ollie. She kept us updated with photos and messages after every visit. We were a little nervous, as this was our first time using Rover, but Becky put our minds at ease. We are so thankful for everything Becky did for us and the care she provided for our pup. Will absolutely recommend her to our friends and family.”

“Mandy is amazing. We love having her watch our dog and now cat too. I always know my dog will be comfortable with her and she has a special way of being with animals. Every time we go somewhere we always try to book with Mandy!”
“Alexandra did an excellent job. I could tell she was well taken care of. We received updates and a picture. Alexandra came to visit Zoey beforehand and asked wonderful, practical questions. We would ask for her again!”

About: I’ve worked in the veterinary fields for a couple of years as a veterinary technician, I have gotten a lot of experience about animal behavior and will advocate for them. I am currently going back to continue my education, my school is based online which will give me the opportunity to be more open with my schedules. Throughout the years I’ve worked with dogs, aggressive dogs and cats I have focused on learning the body language and behaviors of our pet. Which I implemented my learning to any animal I see by not pushing their boundaries or making them uncomfortable, making sure pets feel safe around me. With my veterinary education I have been able to help clients who need to provide insulin injections to their pets as well as nail trims and anal gland issues.
“Ali is very accommodating. She has watched my girls multiple times and on short notice. She checked with me to see if the girls could be walked as it was pretty muddy that day. She also was thoughtful and planned ahead by bringing a towel in case I didn’t have one at the door ready. She’s very reliable.”

“Hope was amazing for our newly adopted kitty. It was hard for us to leave her as she has never been with anyone since her adoption. Hope was on time or early all 11 times she came to see her and took the most amazing cute pictures of our Mimi! She got my skittish kitty’s trust quickly and spent quality time with her giving her cuddles and pets! I will definitely use her in the future and will feel so secure knowing my kitty is well loved by Hope!!!”

“Piper was super attentive and spent a lot of time getting to know Finn we really appreciate her! And we will definitely use her again She was also really super communicating with me.”

About: I absolutely love animals of all shapes and sizes! I am currently studying pre-veterinary science and I take pride in making sure you and your special friend(s) feel safe and happy🥰 I've got two dogs of my own, both are highly socialized, updated on shots yearly, and well trained🐶 Please feel free to message me anytime! I am willing to negotiate prices oer situation and usually respond within an hour or two😁 I currently work evenings between 6pm-11pm, but I am extremely flexible and I am more than happy to talk with you about work times if your pup(s) have strict schedules😋 I'd like to think I have a pretty solid intuition when it comes to a dog's needs, but either way, I am very good at following directions! I always leave my personal opinions at the door and make sure to follow *your* pets schedule and ask questions if I'm ever unsure!
“Elizabeth provided excellent care for our two dogs. She was very caring and spent time with them to make the dogs feel loved. She played with them each time and took them on walks. When we need dog care again, I will contact Elizabeth because I know my dogs will be well cared for.”

“Lori is timely, dependable, trustworthy and caring. Our small senior dog is in declining health and has limited vision. He has become very anxious. Lori was patient and kind even when he was grumpy. She communicated right after each visit. She monitored his food and water intake and administered meds. I would definitely have Lori as a care provider again.”

About: I am the biggest dog lover. I’ve always took care of my neighbors, friends and families fur babies while they're at work or out of town. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I’ve built my schedule around making sure the dogs in my care get plenty of attention and affection throughout the day. From morning potty breaks, lunch potty breaks and playtime in the afternoon walks and evening wind-downs, every part of my day includes time dedicated to their well-being. I’m always available to monitor and care for them, making sure they feel safe, loved, and entertained. In my home, I provide a safe, clean, and dog-friendly environment where pets can relax, play, and feel at ease. I have a secure space for plenty of cozy spots for naps and downtime. I stick to each dog’s routine as closely as possible whether that’s specific feeding times, medication, walks, or crate time to make their stay stress-free and familiar.

About: I grew up with many dogs and many, many various animals. My father was a veterinarian so you name the animal, we likely had it as a pet at one time. I often spent my free time at my dad’s clinic working as a vet tech or cleaning out kennels. I’ve always had at least one dog at a time and am my happiest when surrounded by man’s best friend. I recently had to help my senior dog, 20 years old, cross the rainbow bridge and I would love to welcome all the senior pups to my house. I have a very large, securely fenced back yard. I also have an 10 year old puppy who has never met a stranger, including his fellow four legged companions. During the week, I work out of the home but can come home during lunch to let dogs out. I am a single mom who is home most evenings and weekends, outside of my kids sports. I have a large fenced yard and one extremely friendly small dog. I have a split level home so larger dogs with ambulation issues may struggle in my home.
Olathe pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ali was absolutely wonderful watching our dog for a few days. It gave us such peace of mind knowing she was being so well cared for while we were away. Ali was attentive, reliable, and kept us updated with great communication throughout the entire stay. We could tell our dog was happy and comfortable with her. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter!

Elisha was phenomenal in taking care of my baby. She sent updates, pictures, and action shots. I was never nervous about him the whole week I was gone. She was that great at updating. This is the first time I have let a stranger watch my dog so I was extremely nervous leaving, but her updates put my mind at ease. We did a meet and greet/run through of care before I left. Booster (my dog) interviewed her and gave the signal she would be a good fit to care for him. She followed instructions well and gave exceptional care. I couldn’t recommend her more!!

Olivia was great! Came over a few days before to meet the dogs and myself, which made me feel more comfortable! Both of my dogs loved her. She let both dogs out, played with them and sent me a bunch of photos afterwards! Highly recommend and will be using again!

Our first experience with Rover was a breeze thanks to Lindsey. We loved getting pictures and a recap of how our dog, Lily, was doing while we were away. Lily is a busy girl and Lindsey provided lots of activities for her at each check in. Highly recommend Lindsey!
