“Ali is the sweetest and cares for our dear pup as her own, every visit she makes.... sends us great updates through photos, and throws in a selfie of them hugging which always puts a smile to my face!! We love Ali!”

“Wife and I went to Dallas for our daughter's wedding and couldn't take Hoz with us. Kim took great care of him and sent a picture each time she dropped in. He always had a smile on his face. Communication with Kim was great and she responded quickly to any of our questions or concerns. We would definitely have her watch over Hoz again in any future trips out of town.”

“Sara was wonderful with our cats! Even our very shy kitty was comfortable enough to come out on her second drop-in and we could tell she took good care of them while we were away.”

“Chandra is wonderful! She has been doing daily visits for our two goldens, and she is reliable, professional, and has taken excellent care of them. Her pics are the best! My entire family enjoys the photos from her visits. Highly recommended!”

“Elizabeth provided excellent care for our two dogs. She was very caring and spent time with them to make the dogs feel loved. She played with them each time and took them on walks. When we need dog care again, I will contact Elizabeth because I know my dogs will be well cared for.”

“Thank you so much for lovingly caring for Cloud and Meatball this weekend. I appreciated the regular communication and updates with photos and videos. This gave me great peace of mind.”

“Davina watched our 3 kitties while we were gone for two weeks. She’s very attentive, an excellent communicator and took the time to give the kitties much needed attention while we were away. She’s very conscientious and reliable. Every visit was accompanied by pictures of all three of our cats - even the one who hid from her the entire time! I have no problem recommending her to anyone. We are already making arrangements to have her watch them again in a month. Feel confident to use her without any reservations.”

“Elizabeth did fantastic with my spoiled void. (black cat)She had Shadow presenting with a tail up high and happy demeanor when she visited and she followed directions excellently. She took the time to let him get used to her and gave him the playtime he typically demands! Shadow clearly enjoyed the visits and that's what matters most!”

“Christina is fantastic! We will continue to use her to take care of our little one because she was so good at communicating with us and letting us know how things were going.”

About: I absolutely love animals of all shapes and sizes! I am currently studying pre-veterinary science and I take pride in making sure you and your special friend(s) feel safe and happy🥰 I've got two dogs of my own, both are highly socialized, updated on shots yearly, and well trained🐶 Please feel free to message me anytime! I am willing to negotiate prices oer situation and usually respond within an hour or two😁 I currently work evenings between 6pm-11pm, but I am extremely flexible and I am more than happy to talk with you about work times if your pup(s) have strict schedules😋 I'd like to think I have a pretty solid intuition when it comes to a dog's needs, but either way, I am very good at following directions! I always leave my personal opinions at the door and make sure to follow *your* pets schedule and ask questions if I'm ever unsure!

“Piper was super attentive and spent a lot of time getting to know Finn we really appreciate her! And we will definitely use her again She was also really super communicating with me.”

“My kitty Mimi loves her! Hope is consistent on time and so loving to my kitty. I am always nervous to leave her because she has separation anxiety, but Hope fills that spot so well I think she loves her just as much as us!”

“Lori did a great job taking care of our Carl! She is always on time, goes above and beyond and Carl absolutely adores her. We are people who have not used petsitters in the past because we didn’t think we could find someone that would meet our standards. We are so pleased we were able to find someone we can trust. Lori provided detailed notes on her visit and shared lots of photos.”

“Veda is amazing!! She took great care of our 2 dogs and cat while we were out of town for a week. Great at updating us with each visit. She also brought our packages in off the porch. Also left the animals some treats!!! So sweet!! Came home to happy animals. Thank you so much Veda!!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Olathe
Deanna took wonderful care of our dog and two cats while we were away. She stayed on top of our pets’ medications, gave each of our animals plenty of love and attention, and even picked up after our dog in the backyard. She was incredibly attentive and kept us informed throughout our trip, even notifying us about an issue at our house so we could address it quickly. What really stood out was how much she genuinely cared about our pets. During the Fourth of July fireworks, she went out of her way to make sure our dog felt safe and comfortable, always putting his needs first. She was consistently on time, communicated clearly, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were gone. I would absolutely trust Deanna with our pets again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, and thoughtful pet sitter!

This was the first time leaving my kitties behind while out of town. Having Lynda care for them alleviated all of my worries. My normally shy cats warmed right up to her and I knew they were loved on and cared for just the way I would (maybe even better)! Highly recommend Lynda and will 100% hire her next time we leave town.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Olathe. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
