“This was my first experience using Rover, and Emily was the best! She was very communicative, send updates and pictures, and helped ease any fear or anxiety surrounding leaving my little kitties alone. 10000/10 stars for Emily!!”

“My pup, Maxwell, is still running to the front door looking for Susie when he hears a rattle. I think he made a new best friend in her. She showed up on time, gave me an update including pictures every visit, and kept his routines the same as if we were home. I highly recommend Susan and will use her every time she is available.”

“Lilli was excellent! She came on time when she said she would, the communication was fantastic, she built a great rapport with our dog and sent us pictures everyday while we were away. Honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more! Highly recommend.”

“Lindsey goes above and beyond. This is our second time we’ve had Lindsey watch our cat. Our cat loves her. She sends us detailed reports and pictures and it always makes us feel relieved she is in good hands. Thankyou so much Lindsey!”

“Anna is awesome!! She took the time during every single visit to get my cats to warm up to her. One cat excepted her by the end of the first visit. The other cat took until nearly the last day before accepting Anna's attention. I highly recommend Anna. We will be using her wonderful services every time we go out of town.”

About: I grew up with dogs, so once I graduated college, I started dog sitting as a way to get my fix in. In the past several years, I've worked with cocker spaniels, pugs, golden retrievers, border collies, pit bulls, Austrialian cattle dogs, and mutts :) I have experience working with multiple dogs at the same time, as well as dog and people aggressive dogs. I have a house with lots of space for playing, and a fenced in yard so friends can run around my backyard. I am currently not working, so I am very flexible on my availability! My daughter is in part-time daycare and is home on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I am free virtually all day Monday/Wednesday/Friday! I have had Rover sitters watch my pet before, so I know how important it is to be respectful of someone else's space. I'll make it a priority to leave your home as I found it!
About: I am a lifelong animal lover and a dog Mom! I've never met a furry friend I didn't adore! I volunteer at The Rescue Project in KC. I currently help neighbors with their pet care needs for sitting and walking. You can count on me to care for your fur baby like they were my own. I have experience with dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes! I work full-time, but I’m available for evening walks and weekend drop-in visits to care for your fur baby! Whether it’s a stroll around the block or a quick check-in with belly rubs and fresh water, I’m here to help when you need an extra hand (or leash!). Your pet’s well-being is my top priority. I treat every fur baby like family—providing them with love, attention, and plenty of exercise, all in a safe and stress-free environment. My goal is to earn your trust and keep those tails wagging with care you can count on!
About: Ive had dogs my entire life, and am now step mom to two cats! I have been taking care of my own animals and housesitting/taking care of others for as long as I can remember I work part time for an afterschool program around 2pm, so I have wide availability in the mornings and would be more than happy to walk or check in on your pets! I will always treat your pet with love and care as if they’re my own. Also very important that we have the conversation before hand as to what you prefer and I am happy to oblige.

“Susan is extremely reliable and communicative and has been such a blessing for our aging dog while my husband and I work long hours. She’s been patient with me as I’ve learned the app and has also demonstrated great flexibility.”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have owned 8 dogs total, with as many as four at one time. I’ve cared for all kinds of breeds and personalities, from Great Danes and German Shepherds to Sheepadoodles, Airedales, and mixed breeds. I’m very comfortable with both large and small dogs, energetic dogs, and puppies. I also have experience around litters of puppies since one of my dogs had puppies multiple times while I was growing up, so I’m used to younger dogs and all the energy that comes with them. I genuinely love spending time with dogs, whether that’s playing, going on walks, giving attention, or just making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m very patient, responsible, and will treat your pets like they’re my own. I’m a college student home for break, so I have a very flexible schedule and lots of free time. I just ask for 3 days notice for changes! I have two big dogs at home, so I’m very comfortable with active dogs and daily care routines. I love playing, cuddling, feeding, and keeping pets active and comfortable.

About: I’m a big animal lover and enjoy being around pets of all kinds. I’m reliable, attentive, and happy to help with walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I know how important pets are to their families, so I’ll do my best to make sure they’re safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m currently working a part time job for a couple hours a day a few times a week I’m a very active person I like to get out of the house and get things done. I treat every pet like they’re my own. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while sticking to their normal routine and any care instructions from their owner.

About: I was raised out in the country with dogs, cats, horses, cows, goats, chickens, you name it! I’ve been taking care of animals my entire life. Friends and neighbors wherever I’ve lived have trusted me with their best furry friends, and I care for them as if they’re my own! I currently work full-time (usually 7-4), but I am usually available evenings for walks and drop-ins, and weekends for more time-intensive care. I keep my schedule up to date on here so my availability is precise. I live in an apartment, and my complex has a fenced-in dog park. I also live within short driving distance to many parks and outdoor areas that I can take your pet to for more exercise. In your home I would love to know what your pet enjoys so that I can tailor the experience to their comfort and fun.
About: I LOVE dogs! I've helped take care of dogs since I was 8 years old. I got my own dog when I was 10 and after he passed, my husband and I got our own puppy. Walking, feeding, playing, and bathing dogs is all second-hand to me now. I'm currently working a full-time remote position, so I'm flexible and can work with you, but walks or drop-ins before noon on week days is preferred. I will treat your dog as I treat my own and respect your privacy in your home. Your dog's needs come first and I will make sure they feel loved!
“Karen has now watched my 3 cats twice, and both times we’ve been super impressed!! My cats love her, she takes care of the house, & I know she truly cares about my babies!! I would 100% recommend her for anyone looking for a reliable & flexible pet sitter! I’d give 6 stars if I could!! 🐱❤️”

“Most importantly, Michelle cares for my puppy, Ollie, as if he were her own and I feel fortunate to have her taking care of him! She is reliable, trustworthy, and lets me know how he’s doing during her visits. Ollie thinks he has two dog moms and that’s wonderful!”

Craig cat parents share their Rover experiences
Amanda was very sweet with Phoenix and updated me every visit how it was going. She provided lots of play and checked on her food and water for me. I asked her to come back before the end of the visit as she kind and caring and all we could hope for in a sitter.

My kitty Phoenix and I would not be where we are today without Megan and her reliability (I wish I could say I’m lying, try to replace her). Anyone would be so lucky to use this fellow pet lover in their life. Punctual, premeditating your needs and following up to ensure you need nothing different, makes a huge difference. Life be lifin and Megan rolls with the punches and anticipates them. I couldn’t be happier with Megan or miss her more and I know my little kitten would say the same!!!

Angelica was super communicative and offered a meet and greet prior to my last minute request (one of three I reached out to and the only I heard back from). She let me know her availability so I could adjust my needs around her schedule, which was not outside of my request and much appreciated. She took pictures and sent during the visit as well as after and made sure everything I needed was handled before her departure each day. Would have her back again for my only child I mean kitten.
