About: I've had 3 golden retrievers while I was growing up and helped taking care of them everyday. Our one golden had puppies and I helped out a lot with them. Now, I have the sweetest black lab! I work a 9-5 during the week but I am not usually very busy on weekends and would love to meet and take care of some new pups! I love to go on walks with dogs and make sure they are well exercised everyday. I will make sure to keep your pet on the correct feeding/potty schedule.

About: I’ve cared for dogs for friends and family for years, including up to three at a time! Every workday, I get to play doggy daycare for my sister’s Australian Cattle Doodle. We go on walks, play, and sometimes work on her training, which has taught me the importance of consistency, patience, and making learning fun. I’m just as comfortable with cats! I have one of my own and have cared for everything from adult cats to a mama cat and her entire litter. I genuinely love animals of all kinds and would love the chance to spend time with yours. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet, so I’ll make sure they’re getting plenty of attention, love, and care while you’re away. I’m also the type of pet parent who’s constantly taking pictures and videos of my own baby, so I know you’d probably love updates too! You can expect lots of photos and videos of your happy, spoiled pets so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I work from home Monday through Friday, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care throughout the day. As long as I can plan around my scheduled meetings, I’m able to accommodate most weekday visits, walks, and drop-ins. I’m also available on weekends, so I can provide care whenever you need it. About: I have been taking care of animals for most of my life! I am new to the Rover community, but I’ve owned and fostered dogs for 10 years now. I have experience pet sitting family and friend’s dogs and cats, as well as experience with disabled dogs. I am constantly around animals and commit myself to taking care of them. I am comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, behavior types, and ages. When I come to take care of, walk, and play with your pet, I dedicate my full time to loving them and being present with them. I have one dog of my own, an overweight husky named Haley we just recently adopted to help her live a healthier life! I work PRN as a phlebotomist at KU Med, so I create my own schedule a month in advance. I can be off by 11am if given enough notice, so mid-day walks and drop-ins can fit in perfectly. I work 2-3 days a week, so on off days I am available all day! I am able to accommodate whatever your pet needs in a safe manner. We can talk about whatever that entails before you book with me so everyone feels comfortable! I am big on communication, so you will always know what is going on during your pet’s booking with me with lots of pictures!

About: 20 years of experience as a personal trainer and mom has made me patient, attentive, and physically active. I’m skilled at handling different energy levels and treat every doggie with the same care I give my own. I am currently working part time training clients based on one hour sessions. I have flexibility and make my own schedule. So I’ll have many available options throughout the day. I am available for walks and to come let your fur baby out to play and or go for a walk or if they just need some tummy scratches

About: We are an active family that loves fresh air and exercise. We regularly walk, run, hike, and bike on the nearby trails and at Blackhoof park and Shawnee Mission park. We have 4 kiddos who love to cuddle and play with dogs. Our 10 year old black lab passed away a few years ago and we decided to wait for our next pet while raising the kids. While we don’t have a dog of our own right now, we love to cuddle our doggie friends when they come over to visit! We have a large fully fenced backyard so there is plenty of room to run around and play fetch. I am at home during the day so potty breaks and outside playtime are available all day long. Of course there is plenty of time for snuggles too! I am a stay at home parent with 3 kids in school and 1 in preschool. Except for occasional errands or picking the kids up from school, I am at home most of the time so outside playtime and potty breaks can happen whenever needed. Dogs have free roam of the house but we could crate your dog when we are away if that is your preference. We live on a a cul de sac and have a fenced in backyard, making outside playtime easily available. We love to play with our doggie friends!

About: Hi there, I am Roxanna and I have had pets for as long as I can remember. I am local in the Shawnee and Lenexa area. I grew up with both dogs and cats and have trained all my dogs over the years from the time they were puppies. My current pup is epileptic and at one point was having multiple seizures a day. While this has not been a fun endeavor, I have learned a lot and am well versed in dispensing oral medication and also keeping calm in emergency situations. I currently have two dogs and 1 black cat and while most people are afraid of my cat, I don't hold it against him (ha!) | pride myself in understanding cat behavior. I would love to come walk your dogs or check in on your pets. From puppies and kittens to the frosted face doggos and cats, I am comfortable with any age range and their ability (or disabilities.) About: Growing up, I was never allowed to have pets, so as soon as I was on my own, I got my first guinea pig! I'm currently taking care of two piggies, and contrary to popular belief, they all require very meticulous care — constant fresh water and unlimited hay, daily vitamin C tablets, fresh veggies, portioned pellets, daily spot cleaning with a full cage cleaning every two weeks, and the occasional eye ointment when a piggy gets a case of hay poke. I also have experience administering oral medication to guinea pigs. I got my first dog in October of 2023 — a Border Collie puppy! She gets weekly teeth brushing, coat brushing, nail trims, and paw pad shaving when appropriate. I take real pride in keeping up with her hygiene, with baths about every three months (unless she gets filthy beforehand) and frequent paw washings when it's muddy out. I also maintain a training regimen — I'm not by any means a professional or certified trainer, but I'm both consistent and persistent about getting my pup to a level that Victoria Stilwell would be proud of. I watched A LOT of It's Me or the Dog growing up! I also have experience caring for dogs in heat. My experience with cats isn't as in-depth as my guinea pig and dog experience, but rest assured, I have plenty of love and care to offer them too! I've house sat cats in the past for weeks at a time — feeding, watering, playing, and cleaning litter boxes regularly. My cat care doesn't go much past those basics, but I take direction well and am always willing to take on kitties with more specialized needs. I hope this gives you confidence in my ability to properly care for your pet! I'm always happy to answer any questions or concerns, and I will NEVER take a risk that could negatively affect you or your beloved pet. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends are wide open for me, unless my calendar says otherwise. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I work a 9-5, so pet sitting visits on those days are scheduled around my work hours, but I'm still available for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. No matter the day, your pet gets my full attention and the quality care they deserve, every single time. Depending on the boundaries and rules you set, I'm always happy to take your pet(s) out for exercise at a dog park or just a walk around the block. I love giving animals human interaction and have no issue spending time playing, whether that's tug of war, fetch, or puzzle games for pets that need some mental stimulation! If you're interested, I can send check-in pictures so you can see how your pet(s) are doing while you're away, along with any other updates you'd like. Safety is incredibly important to me, which is why your pet(s) will be carefully monitored the entire time they're in my care. I personally keep security cameras in my own home to monitor my dog while I'm away - I even have one dedicated specifically to keeping an eye on my guinea pigs! You can never be too safe, and you can never take too many precautions.

About: I have had a number of families count on me to take care of both their children and pets for over 20 years (including dogs, cats, birds, and fish). Recently, I've taken care of a few family members' senior dogs and cats so I am experienced with administering medications. In my own free time I love going for walks (as well as runs if your dog would like that). I am a flight instructor at one of the local airports which gives me a flexible schedule. There are also days when the weather isn’t “flight friendly” (hello spring!) which allows me to stop by and walk your dog/feed your pet. I show up when needed, talk to the pets, show them lots of love and attention, and take care of my responsibilities (feeding, letting outside, walking, medication etc). My main gig is flight instructing. Everything in flying has a checklist so you can count on me to follow any instructions you leave me.
