About: I have cared for and owned animals of all shapes and sizes for my entire life, including dogs, cats, horses, gerbils, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, mice, pigs, and goats! I am very experienced in feeding, watering, cleaning up after them, administering medication and supplements, playing, and snuggling. About: Growing up, I was never allowed to have pets, so as soon as I was on my own, I got my first guinea pig! I'm currently taking care of two piggies, and contrary to popular belief, they all require very meticulous care — constant fresh water and unlimited hay, daily vitamin C tablets, fresh veggies, portioned pellets, daily spot cleaning with a full cage cleaning every two weeks, and the occasional eye ointment when a piggy gets a case of hay poke. I also have experience administering oral medication to guinea pigs. I got my first dog in October of 2023 — a Border Collie puppy! She gets weekly teeth brushing, coat brushing, nail trims, and paw pad shaving when appropriate. I take real pride in keeping up with her hygiene, with baths about every three months (unless she gets filthy beforehand) and frequent paw washings when it's muddy out. I also maintain a training regimen — I'm not by any means a professional or certified trainer, but I'm both consistent and persistent about getting my pup to a level that Victoria Stilwell would be proud of. I watched A LOT of It's Me or the Dog growing up! I also have experience caring for dogs in heat. My experience with cats isn't as in-depth as my guinea pig and dog experience, but rest assured, I have plenty of love and care to offer them too! I've house sat cats in the past for weeks at a time — feeding, watering, playing, and cleaning litter boxes regularly. My cat care doesn't go much past those basics, but I take direction well and am always willing to take on kitties with more specialized needs. I hope this gives you confidence in my ability to properly care for your pet! I'm always happy to answer any questions or concerns, and I will NEVER take a risk that could negatively affect you or your beloved pet. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends are wide open for me, unless my calendar says otherwise. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I work a 9-5, so pet sitting visits on those days are scheduled around my work hours, but I'm still available for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. No matter the day, your pet gets my full attention and the quality care they deserve, every single time. Depending on the boundaries and rules you set, I'm always happy to take your pet(s) out for exercise at a dog park or just a walk around the block. I love giving animals human interaction and have no issue spending time playing, whether that's tug of war, fetch, or puzzle games for pets that need some mental stimulation! If you're interested, I can send check-in pictures so you can see how your pet(s) are doing while you're away, along with any other updates you'd like. Safety is incredibly important to me, which is why your pet(s) will be carefully monitored the entire time they're in my care. I personally keep security cameras in my own home to monitor my dog while I'm away - I even have one dedicated specifically to keeping an eye on my guinea pigs! You can never be too safe, and you can never take too many precautions.

Unfortunately I moved so I don’t get that animal love that I want and I don’t have a pet of my own here. I would love to take care of your animal(s) and treat it like it’s my own! I work right down the street from my apartment and will be home for lunch every day. My hours are 8-2 so your animal would not go longer than 4 hours alone each day. I live in an apartment, but it has a dog park that I have taken many dogs I’ve sat for to! I also live close to a walking trail and it’s perfect!

About: I've grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have two boxers and a morkie (Maltese Yorkie mix). I used to work part-time at a vet clinic so I have experience with all sizes and breeds of dogs and cats. I currently work part time at a doggy daycare. I currently have a lot of free time so although I have dogs of my own I will have plenty of time and energy to care for your fur babies! I have plenty of experience with walking (and playing with) dogs of all sizes. I also have experience giving dogs and cats medication such as pills, injections, or topical. About: I offer small-group, in-home boarding, designed for pet parents who want something more personal than a traditional boarding facility. I intentionally keep the number of guest dogs small and manageable. While I do welcome pets from multiple families, I don't believe in packing a large number of dogs into one space. My goal is for every dog to receive individual attention, supervision, affection, and care rather than simply being one of many. Our home is spacious and set up to give dogs room to relax. We have two living rooms, a large unused basement area, and a fully privacy-fenced yard. Someone is almost always home, so your dog isn't spending the majority of the day alone. I have two senior dogs of my own, and I'm very intentional about maintaining a calm, safe environment for everyone's comfort. Because this is our family home, I do have a few house rules. Dogs are not allowed on our beds or couches, and I use baby gates or separation when necessary for safety, feeding, introductions, or simply giving a dog some downtime. My $45/night rate is intentionally priced just below many local boarding and daycare facilities, while still providing the advantages of a home environment: a smaller group, more individualized attention, a spacious home, a private fenced yard, and someone nearby most of the time.
