Michelle is fantastic! My pup loves when she “pinch hits” for my dad when he’s out of town. She gets a good walk, some snuggle time and a treat before Michelle leaves. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

About: I grew up around dogs and have always had a love for caring for animals. From a young age, I helped take care of my own dogs and would also help family members by babysitting, walking, feeding, and spending time with their dogs. Being around different breeds and personalities has taught me how to be patient, responsible, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs. I truly enjoy making pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I have a baby of my own his name is Rocky he’s Australian Shepherd beagle mix. I’m always active I work as a medical assistant. I am a trustworthy and dependable dog sitter who treats every pet like they are my own. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your dog in someone else’s care, which is why I prioritize safety, communication, and giving each dog the attention and love they deserve. I am responsible, patient, and committed to creating a comfortable and positive experience for both pets and their owners.

About: I’ve been dog and cat sitting for friends, neighbors, and strangers for years now and have many recommendations from playing fetch, going on runs/walks, TLC, giving medicine to animals, multiple drop ins a day. I am allergic to cats but as long as I know in advance to prep with some allergy relief, I will be okay! Can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I’m currently working part time. I have a very flexible schedule to stay and play or a quick drop in to feed and let your pet out. I’m very respectful and will treat your fur baby like my own. If they need a play partner, my dog loves to play fetch and chase in circles-she can run sprints for an hour straight if we need any energy to get out!

About: I am the perfect boarding option if you're looking to get away. I’m currently working a hybrid arrangement so I am home Mondays and Fridays. We’re typically here most weekends but do go out of town every now and then, so just keep an eye on my calendar and I will do my best to keep it updated. I have been around dogs my entire life and can't imagine my life without one (or two)! They are an extension of my family and are treated as such. Rest-assured, your dogs will be loved here and get to play with our 12 year old Terrier and our 7 year old Austrian Pinscher. We have a large fenced yard and LOTS of toys and nearby trails where I'll take our dogs and yours for walks several times a day. I do allow pets on furniture and to sleep in our bed if that's what they're used to. If your dog plays well with others they will fit in perfectly here! I’m currently working from home 2 days a week so typically always home during those days to care for your pups! They will get lots of outdoor breaks and at least one walk while I’m home. We treat your dog(s) like our own. They’re allowed on our furniture and can sleep in it beds if that’s what they’re used to. We also have a large fenced yard for plenty of bathroom breaks and exercise.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats most of my life! Friends and family rely on me for great pet sitting, cuddles, tons of playtime! I’m free for most of the summer besides helping out at my grandmas office or running errands when asked! Taking adventures with my own pup most of the time! In my home I have a cat and a German shepherd puppy! They typically eat at 5 am, go outside after 20-30 minutes after meal time. I will cuddle with both of them on the couch and play fetch with my pup until I do daily activities such as cleaning, etc. I take breaks to let my pup outside and take her on a walk if it’s a decent temperature outside. I also help take care of my grandmas pups as well, bunch of cuddly pups it’s like a dream come true. I work commands with my pup often throughout the day, walking around with a treat bag. I always check for ticks on each dog after they’ve been outside it’s summer! They like to come out more often now. I will always ask of a pets diet regimen, such as their foods, allergies, favorite treats, if they have sensitive stomachs, or if they are fully vaccinated! I also have a car that has pet covers on the seat because of my fur baby who loves car rides. I will ask what your pets schedule looks like such as feeding times, and bathroom breaks.

About: Hi! I’m Halle, and I’ve always had a huge soft spot for pets. I have 5 years of experience caring for pets, and there’s honestly nothing I love more than meeting new pets and getting to know their personality! I had a sweet Puggle who lived to be 18 years old. She taught me just how special the bond between a person and their pet can be, and now I’d love the opportunity to give that same love, attention, and care to your pets! I’m easygoing, dependable, and I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own. Whether your pup needs a walk, some playtime, extra cuddles, or just a little company while you’re away, I’m here to make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved. Can’t wait! 🐶💕 I work Monday–Friday from 8 AM–4 PM, but I have a flexible schedule that allows me to make plenty of time for your pets! I have availability in the early mornings before work, during my one-hour lunch break (which can be scheduled at different times throughout the day), and in the evenings after work. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and find a time that works best for both of us. When I care for your pets in your home, I treat both your pets and your space with the same respect I would want for my own home. I understand that inviting someone into your home is a big deal, so I’m always respectful, responsible, and mindful. I’ll do my best to keep your pet’s normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable and at ease in their own environment. I’m also very clean and tidy—I’ll clean up after your pet, keep their spaces neat, and leave your home just as I found it

About: I’ve been pet sitting for 9 years and caring for animals is truly one of my favorite things ever. From playful puppies and curious kittens to senior pets who just want extra cuddles, I’ve done it all. I also have experience with special needs pets, reptiles, birds, and those wonderfully dramatic high maintenance fur babies who act like they pay the bills. I’m free spirited, goofy, adventurous, and always ready to make pets feel safe, loved, and entertained while you’re away. Whether that means playtime zoomies, slow walks with senior pups, or giving your cat the personal space they demanded five minutes ago, I’m happy to adapt to every pet’s personality. I send daily updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are having a great time. I also leave a little pet magnet behind as a thank you for trusting me with your furry family members. I’d love the chance to meet you and your pets and become their new friend! I currently do Rover full time, so I always try to keep a spot open for my regulars and new furry friends too! My schedule is super flexible and I’m happy to work around your needs. I just ask for at least a day’s notice whenever possible. As of 2025, I officially have a home with a fenced in yard, so your pups will have plenty of safe space to run, play, sniff every blade of grass dramatically, and enjoy their own little vacation while you’re away. 🐾 If your pet loves the outdoors, no worries here! I make sure potty breaks happen every 1 to 2 hours, and with my fully fenced in yard they’ll have plenty of safe space to stretch their legs, sniff around, and burn off some zoomies. I also live right down the road from Wyandotte County Lake Park, so walks and little adventures are always an option for energetic pups. I offer training, endless affection, and personalized care to help your pet feel completely at home. Whether your furry friend needs long walks, nonstop playtime, couch snuggles, or even a dim light and TV left on at bedtime so they don’t feel lonely, I’m happy to make them comfortable. I also offer baths and light grooming when needed, so your pet comes home happy, fresh, and probably just a little spoiled ✨

Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities — including seniors, diabetics, and blind pups who need a little extra attention. Every dog has their own unique needs, and I take pride in making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. Back to business! I work remotely, so my schedule is nice and flexible. I always enjoy having a part-time job caring for dogs — it’s something I truly love! I take care of each pet as if they were my own. At my home, I offer a warm and safe place with lots of love and playtime. About: Hi, I’m Shanna! I provide care at your home so your pets can stay comfortable in their normal routine while you’re away. As a remote worker, I’m able to stay at your home during work hours - great for pets who are used to company throughout the day! My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible. I am happy to follow detailed instructions, and I provide regular updates and photos so you always know how things are going. Specialties: I have a soft spot for shy or nervous pets, and I take extra care to follow their lead and let them warm up at their own pace. My experience caring for my own anxious and reactive dog has given me extra understanding for pets who need a predictable environment and time to build trust. I am also experienced with puppies and young dogs, and I understand the importance of consistency, routine reinforcement, and providing outlets for their energy while they’re still learning. Meet & Greet: I always like to schedule a meet-and-greet with new clients to make sure everyone feels comfortable and that we are a good match. For safety, my husband Nathan may join me for this first visit, but all pet care and in-home services are always provided by me. I work primarily from home and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to plan my day around your pet's needs, whether that means drop-in visits, walks, or spending extra time keeping them company. I truly enjoy making them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet and home with the care and respect I’d want for my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet (and your space) in someone else’s hands, and I don’t take that lightly. For pets, I stick as closely as possible to their normal routine. I pay attention to their behavior and needs, and their safety and well-being is always my top priority. In your home I am very mindful that I am a guest. I keep things clean, make sure everything stays secure, and treat your space with respect. I aim to leave everything just as you left it. I am happy to keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is well cared for.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
