About: Hi, I’m Shanna! I provide care at your home so your pets can stay comfortable in their normal routine while you’re away. As a remote worker, I’m able to stay at your home during work hours - great for pets who are used to company throughout the day! My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible. I am happy to follow detailed instructions, and I provide regular updates and photos so you always know how things are going. Specialties: I have a soft spot for shy or nervous pets, and I take extra care to follow their lead and let them warm up at their own pace. My experience caring for my own anxious and reactive dog has given me extra understanding for pets who need a predictable environment and time to build trust. I am also experienced with puppies and young dogs, and I understand the importance of consistency, routine reinforcement, and providing outlets for their energy while they’re still learning. Meet & Greet: I always like to schedule a meet-and-greet with new clients to make sure everyone feels comfortable and that we are a good match. For safety, my husband Nathan may join me for this first visit, but all pet care and in-home services are always provided by me. I work primarily from home and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to plan my day around your pet's needs, whether that means drop-in visits, walks, or spending extra time keeping them company. I truly enjoy making them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet and home with the care and respect I’d want for my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet (and your space) in someone else’s hands, and I don’t take that lightly. For pets, I stick as closely as possible to their normal routine. I pay attention to their behavior and needs, and their safety and well-being is always my top priority. In your home I am very mindful that I am a guest. I keep things clean, make sure everything stays secure, and treat your space with respect. I aim to leave everything just as you left it. I am happy to keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is well cared for.

About: I’ve been a dog owner and lover since I was a child, have had my own dog for 10 years now. I’ve been caring for others dogs since I was 10 for neighbors and friends. I love all breeds of dogs and would love to help love and care for yours! I’m currently a teacher on summer break, so I have a lot of free time to give for caring for your pets! My day to day schedule is open to be able to care for all you and your pets needs. When caring for your pet, I would use the utmost responsibility in treating your home with respect and care. I would make sure that all was taken care of and your dog was in the best hands.

About: Grew up on a farm in West Texas where we raised and trained Brittany Spaniels as bird dogs. We have recently moved to the KC area. I have never not had a dog. We absolutely love all animals, but dogs just have a sweet spot in our hearts. We have a 7 year old Aussie who is as sweet as she can be. I work from home, and my job is very flexible. Therefore, I am available almost all the time to love and spoil your pups! We are available just about every weekend. I have a fenced backyard, and one friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed, or work with you on any other accommodations that your fur baby may need.

About: I grew up with dogs and all of my kids have dogs, so not only am I a grandpa, I was a dog grandpa first! I also sit and love cats. They always find me. Had four dogs in my house for many times watching when my kids traveled, but now they moved so I have more time to get my fur feed. I take walks and would love to walk your pups but also can follow your guidelines doing the best to keep their routine. I work from home but occasionally have appointments outside of the home, so I am very available to work with your schedule. I will share my schedule with you when booking. I have a fenced yard and a great neighborhood for walking. Friendly home environment with access to fresh food/water and sunshine. Your dog/cat will be well-loved.

About: I began consistently dog sitting throughout high school starting in 2022. Since then, I’ve built strong relationships with many repeat clients who continue to trust me to care for their pets whenever they’re away. Neighbors, friends, and families rely on me to walk, feed, bathe, and provide attentive, dependable care. As an Animal Science student, I have hands-on experience working with animals, giving me a deeper understanding of animal behavior, health, and proper care. I’m available Monday through Sunday for walks, drop-ins, sitting, and boarding, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. This allows me to give your pet plenty of attention, exercise, and consistent care throughout the day. I’m also flexible with last minute bookings and can easily adjust to your pet’s routine. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I make sure all outdoor time is supervised and dogs are always on a leash to ensure their safety. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs, and I always follow your specific instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, and routines. “Recently my oldest son was getting married out of state. An event, no mother would ever think of missing. I would be gone for a week in October, along with my entire family. Over the last few months I couldn’t help worrying about who, or where, I was going to get to care, for my two cats. Everyone I knew who could possibly take on this task, wasn’t available for the day’s or times I needed. I was tired of feeling sick to my stomach over this and knew I’d have to find someone I didn’t know, to come into my home for seven days and care for my beloved pets. I came across the website “Rover”. I looked over the website at least ten times. I kept thinking, this is the type of job I would LOVE to have! But, at that moment, I wasn’t trying to find a job, I needed to find the right person who was trustworthy and reliable. I looked over several people, I wanted someone who was close to where I live. When I care for other people’s pets, they’re treated the same way I treat my own and that’s the type of pet sitter I wanted. That’s the moment I reached out to Angela. When I first reached out to her and found out she was available for the dates I needed, I was ecstatic . We scheduled a Meet & Greet prior to my trip. I explained how shy my cats were and was even unsure they would come out to meet her that day. Unfortunately, they hid so Angela was unable to meet them. I knew by talking to her that first day, I would have nothing to worry about with the care of my cats. Angela was great, not only at getting any picture she could, of my bashful fur babies, and sending pictures daily, but followed all directions regarding feeding, watering and everything else we went over during our visit. I commend Angela for her honesty, trust, and the excellent care and time she so generously provided. It’s obvious to see, the love she truly has for all animals, and with her kind heart, I’ve no doubt, that love, is returned to her, from every animal she cares for. 💕🐈‍⬛ 🐈 Thank you, Angela. About: I’ve always had a passion for dogs! I had a family dog a majority of my life. I’m a volunteer at KC pet Project, so I’m comfortable with a variety of dogs. I am able to work with dogs of any breed, size, and age! As a volunteer, I am an expert at also taking care of dogs emotional and physical needs. The days I am available will vary each week. As a nurse, I work 3 days a week, and have four days a week off. So I have lots of available time for your fur babies! I enjoy going on walks on my days off, so your dog will be the perfect companion. I have the utmost respect for your place and your pup’s safety. About: Hi! I’m currently a student at the university of Kansas Medical Center. I’ve had at least one dog in the house as long as I can remember. I’ve helped care for special needs dogs and laid back dogs by walking, bathing, and administering medications. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find a perfect sitter for your furry family, so reach out if you think i’d be a good fit for you! As a graduate student at ku I am in several classes. Class schedules can vary and I also have a part time job but I have no problem moving my schedule around if able. Weekends I am free! I will not be able to care for any pets in my home as I am currently staying in an apartment with my sweet cat who prefers to be alone.

About: I’ve always had dogs in my life, either from friends, my own house, partners, parties at houses, and more. Every dog I’ve met I’ve become friends with and we usually vibe together at every meeting. I love playing with dogs and getting their energy out, but I also love chilling with low energy dogs and having some quiet time. I truly am open to all kinds of dogs to watch and I’d love to be friends with your dog too! I’m currently working two part-time jobs and I am starting classes back up on August 18, but I am still available for over-night house sitting and potty breaks throughout the day. Weekends should allow me some more time to spend with the pet(s) as I won’t be as busy during the day. I make sure to always follow any rules set by the home owners, as I believe the place I’m staying should be respected and kept tidy. I make sure to cross off any lists I’ve made of supplies that will be needed during the time the home/pet owners are gone. I also love staying places because it feels like a mini vacation for myself. And, I get to do it with pets around?? Heck yeah!

About: I am new to the KC area and looking to start doing Rover again. I take pride in doing a job well done. I vow to treat your furry friend as my own. I am currently working a full time job but would be interested in doing Rover on the weekends. Dog walking or drop in visits preferably. I am comfortable with going to your home.
