About: I have raised dogs and cats through out my life, I currently have a rescue Shih Tzu named Gizmo who is nine years old and is great with other dogs. I’ve worked at a dog training kennel and I’ve worked in an animal shelter previously so I have experience with all breeds and temperaments as well as years of professional dog walking and pet sitting. I’m getting ready to go to school for dog grooming to add to my pet care skills and would love to take care of your pets to help make money for school! I will give your fur babies the love, care and attention they deserve. I also have experience administering medications including pills and insulin shots. I work short days outside my home starting early in the morning, but my partner works from home so your dog wouldn’t be left alone if you board with me! I’m available for in home visits or walks as well. We have a rescue Shih Tzu who is 9 years old and loves the company of other dogs, she’s not big on playing but she’s all about the snuggles and naps. I cater my care to each individual dog and am happy to discuss your pets needs. If you board with me your dog will get frequent walks and as much exercise as you request, we live in an apartment so I would be taking them out on a leash to walk around the neighborhood; we also have a fenced area specifically for letting dogs run around and play if that’s what you prefer. I am happy to crate them if you’d like or let them sleep in one of my dogs many beds, she sleeps in bed with us so she won’t mind! If I’m coming to your house I can follow any instructions you have for walking/ feeding/ administering medication I’ve done many walks and home visits for pet owners over the years, and my experience in animal shelters and dog training facilities had given me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and needs.

About: We are an active family with two youth athletes that love to keep dogs active or snuggle on the couch. We have a large yard with a 5-foot privacy fence as well as plenty of room to spoil your pup indoors. We are experienced with foster and rescue dogs of all shapes and sizes. We rescued our first two fur-babies over 16 years ago. They lived long, healthy lives for 15 and 16 years, respectively. Once they crossed the rainbow bridge, we began fostering dogs in our home. We have fostered 3-week-old bottle-fed puppies, geriatric, medical cases, giant, excited, calm, small and everything in between. We now have two large breed rescues that joined our family in 2021. They are friendly, happy and kennel trained dogs that get along great with other canine friends! I work a hybrid schedule which means I work from home during the day Monday and Friday and we are both home during the weekends. During the summer, our kids (12 and 16yo) are both home (when they aren't at sports practices) and love to help! We kennel the dogs while we are away (usually attending a sport activity) but never longer than 4 hours at a time. We have a large yard that has a 5-foot privacy fence. The dogs have plenty of room to run and play! Our home has plenty of space on the main level as well as a finished basement. We kennel either in our spare bedroom or the garage, wherever the dogs are most comfortable.

About: Animals have been a lifelong part of my life. I grew up around farm animals and have owned and cared for dogs ranging in size from a Toy Poodle to a Great Dane. I also raised a puppy through the Leader Dogs for the Blind puppy-raising program in Michigan and have experience training dogs in both obedience and agility. I previously worked as a veterinary assistant at two veterinary clinics, which gave me valuable hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats with a wide variety of personalities, ages and needs. I also offer evening and weekend availability when my schedule allows and am happy to discuss recurring weekly care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my first priorities. I take time to learn each pet’s normal routine, temperament, handling preferences and any special instructions before providing care. During visits, I’m attentive to doors, gates, leashes and other potential safety concerns and will always follow your care instructions closely. My previous experience working as a veterinary assistant has made me particularly observant of changes in an animal’s behavior or well-being. I also understand the trust involved in allowing someone into your home and will treat your home, privacy and belongings with respect. I provide dependable communication and am happy to send photos and updates after each visit so you know how your pet is doing.

About: I love dogs and cats like they are my best friends because they are the most loving, loyal creatures I’ve ever met on this planet! They make me so happy always! I have an hour lunch during the week and weekends are usually free! If I commit to watching a dog/cat for several days in a row whether checking in or staying at their home, I make sure they are well taken care of cuz that’s really all that matters. They get all my love and attention! I have a pet friendly house but much rather take care of them at their own home as it’s likely more familiar/comfortable for them and convenient for the pet’s owner.

About: I am a responsible professional who is looking to make some extra money outside of my full-time job in tech. I love dogs and many other types of animals and have 2 dogs, Severus and Hagrid, whom I live with at home. My availability is relatively flexible, and I can work from home during the week. During the week I am available to stay overnight at your house and may be able to stop by in the middle of a weekday, depending on your location. During your absence I am also willing to take in your mail or water your plants. While I am available on weekends, I will need advanced notice to ensure that I am able to accommodate your request. My skills include experience training a puppy and caring for animals other than dogs. I have been pet/house sitting for families since I was eight, taking care of various types of animals such as dogs, reptiles, cats, and fish. I work full time M-F but have the flexibility to work remotely if I choose to do so. I am available evenings and weekends, as well as during the workday to let out dogs for bathroom breaks. About: Growing up, I was never allowed to have pets, so as soon as I was on my own, I got my first guinea pig! I'm currently taking care of two piggies, and contrary to popular belief, they all require very meticulous care — constant fresh water and unlimited hay, daily vitamin C tablets, fresh veggies, portioned pellets, daily spot cleaning with a full cage cleaning every two weeks, and the occasional eye ointment when a piggy gets a case of hay poke. I also have experience administering oral medication to guinea pigs. I got my first dog in October of 2023 — a Border Collie puppy! She gets weekly teeth brushing, coat brushing, nail trims, and paw pad shaving when appropriate. I take real pride in keeping up with her hygiene, with baths about every three months (unless she gets filthy beforehand) and frequent paw washings when it's muddy out. I also maintain a training regimen — I'm not by any means a professional or certified trainer, but I'm both consistent and persistent about getting my pup to a level that Victoria Stilwell would be proud of. I watched A LOT of It's Me or the Dog growing up! I also have experience caring for dogs in heat. My experience with cats isn't as in-depth as my guinea pig and dog experience, but rest assured, I have plenty of love and care to offer them too! I've house sat cats in the past for weeks at a time — feeding, watering, playing, and cleaning litter boxes regularly. My cat care doesn't go much past those basics, but I take direction well and am always willing to take on kitties with more specialized needs. I hope this gives you confidence in my ability to properly care for your pet! I'm always happy to answer any questions or concerns, and I will NEVER take a risk that could negatively affect you or your beloved pet. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends are wide open for me, unless my calendar says otherwise. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I work a 9-5, so pet sitting visits on those days are scheduled around my work hours, but I'm still available for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. No matter the day, your pet gets my full attention and the quality care they deserve, every single time. Depending on the boundaries and rules you set, I'm always happy to take your pet(s) out for exercise at a dog park or just a walk around the block. I love giving animals human interaction and have no issue spending time playing, whether that's tug of war, fetch, or puzzle games for pets that need some mental stimulation! If you're interested, I can send check-in pictures so you can see how your pet(s) are doing while you're away, along with any other updates you'd like. Safety is incredibly important to me, which is why your pet(s) will be carefully monitored the entire time they're in my care. I personally keep security cameras in my own home to monitor my dog while I'm away - I even have one dedicated specifically to keeping an eye on my guinea pigs! You can never be too safe, and you can never take too many precautions.
