About: I’ve had pets since I was a child, I am very comfortable with all sizes and ages of animals. Trustworthy, responsible and punctual. Love being around animals! I am a teacher so usually around in the afternoons. I live in an area that is great to walk in and I enjoy being around animals and taking care of them. I have been a pet owner all my life. My own dog, Olive, has regular walks, treats, toys and play. I love being around animals and would offer a pet the same type of love and care that I do for my own. I have a fenced in yard and am on my own every other week. (I have two boys-age 13 and 15)
“This was our first booking with August and it went very well! Thorough updates after every visit to include making sure to locate them in their various hiding spots for pictures of our two elusive orange bois. August made sure to spend passive time with them in the house to make them feel more comfortable as well considering they weren’t inclined to play. Our trip went so much better knowing they were well taken care of.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and currently help care for our family Cavapoo, Izzy. I’m comfortable walking dogs, feeding them, playing with them, and making sure they feel safe and well cared for. As a Kansas State student with previous job experience, I understand the importance of being dependable, punctual, and responsive. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and treating them like part of the family. I’m a Kansas State student home for the summer and have a flexible schedule. I’m available for dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the week and on weekends. I’m happy to work with your schedule to make sure your pets get the care and attention they need. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always follow the owner’s instructions carefully. During walks and visits, I focus on keeping pets safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m dependable, attentive, and will provide updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is in good hands.
“Mackenzie was so amazing! She stayed right on schedule and made sure to communicate with me each day and even helped me recognize that i incorrectly scheduled her assistance plan and got it all squared away for me. Will definitely be requesting her services again!”

“Erin was great! She responded right away when we were looking for someone to care for our cat, Max, over the holiday. We set up a meet & greet and she was very friendly and accommodating. This was our first time w/a Rover sitter. The evening she was scheduled, she arrived at the right time to feed Max & give his insulin. It was a good experience!”

About: I was raised out in the country with dogs, cats, horses, cows, goats, chickens, you name it! I’ve been taking care of animals my entire life. Friends and neighbors wherever I’ve lived have trusted me with their best furry friends, and I care for them as if they’re my own! I currently work full-time (usually 7-4), but I am usually available evenings for walks and drop-ins, and weekends for more time-intensive care. I keep my schedule up to date on here so my availability is precise. I live in an apartment, and my complex has a fenced-in dog park. I also live within short driving distance to many parks and outdoor areas that I can take your pet to for more exercise. In your home I would love to know what your pet enjoys so that I can tailor the experience to their comfort and fun.
“Lindsey is fantastic! She is great at communicating and always sends lots of cute pictures of my fur babies. I know they are in good hands with her checking in on them. I highly recommend Lindsey!”

“Stephanie was so helpful and kind with our two dogs! This was a first time using Rover and Stephanie exceeded all needs and eased our worry. With a senior dog who needs extra care and a younger dog who has much more energy, she was able to accommodate both of our boys to keep them happy and safe!”

About: Animals have been a major part of my life since I was a child. I grew up on a family farm with all sorts of animals. We also had plenty of indoor pets such as dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, and the occasional reptile. I have had years of experience house and pet sitting. In undergrad, I work with a large and small veterinarian for several months and took several animal husbandry classes. I've also worked at a doggy daycare center in the past with roughly 70 dogs per day. I am a student currently pursuing a doctorate degree in chiropractic. I have classes monday-friday, but there are breaks in my schedule throughout the day. I am comfortable and adaptable with any situation or furry friend that needs to be looked after. I live in an apartment so watching a pet in their owners home is preferable.
“This is our first time using Rover and we’re so happy we’ve found Faith to take care of our puppy! She did 1 one hour drop in for us, and sent us a few pictures and a video of Peanut. We will definitely use her services again and highly recommend Faith to anyone looking for a loving and attentive pet sitter.”

“Marlee is AMAZING! This was my first time using Rover and she eased my mind completely while being out of the country. She sent me adorable photos every day and let me know how much Mittens enjoyed her company!! She went above and behind and I am so grateful for her!”

About: Since I was a child, I have loved and shared my life with warm, furry or feathered creatures. Mostly dogs, but also canaries, parakeets, hamsters, guinea pigs, and bunnies have shared my home; I also love cats, horses and other companion animals. I have raised and trained seven dogs of my own as an adult and cared for numerous others. I am now retired with my pup who is an AKC registered therapy dog, but I still have plenty of love to give your pet, walking or dropping in for meals, medication administration or general care. Every pet is a precious gift and it gives me great joy to make them feel cherished, as they deserve. I am retired and so I have plenty of time to walk or do drop-in visits to care for your pets. I enjoy the exercise and fresh air and I know most pets do too! I prefer to walk dogs in safe neighborhood setting during daylight hours. Safety is very important to me. I always have my phone on me when visiting or walking your pets for immediate access to emergency services, if needed.
“Elizabeth was a great cat-sitter who took her time to learn about our cat's behavior. She responded with a well-detailed Rover card at each visit and kept in contact whenever a question occurred. She will be my first-choice on Rover for all future needs.”

Lenexa dog parents share their Rover experiences
Stacy took car of my 3 large dogs while I traveled for a day. She took them to the dog park, walked them, and sat with them and loved on them outside during the day. They had a great day even though “mom” was off having her own fun. Good communication and pictures. Would definitely have her watch them again :)

Thank you, Morgan! Jet looked so happy in his photos. He was definitely spoiled with extra time and attention than normal a typical lunch break! He can be timid around new people and we have never had someone come in for a drop-in visit before, so we are exceptionally happy with how the visit went!

Jennifer did a wonderful job caring for our three dogs - one of which is a senior dog. She is a great communicator and established a strong rapport quickly with our fuzzy family. We strongly recommend her to anyone needing professional, compassionate care for their pets.

We absolutely love it when Brianna watches our babies! She is kind sweet patient and knowledgeable about her craft. She sends us daily updates, letting us know how the babies are doing, and it takes that much stress away from us worrying about the dogs all the time! Thank you for your services

Megan was outstanding with our dog Blue. Blue does not like new people and generally is a pretty anxious pup. Megan handled it incredibly well and was professional in her handling of Blue. She even got him to go #2 on the 4th of July amongst all the fireworks. Highly recommend!
