I have 5 years of dog-care experience, including three years of regularly walking two dachshunds for the same family three times a week. That long-term relationship taught me how important consistency, reliability, and understanding each dog's individual routine are. I’m a detail-oriented sitter and like to learn how your dog normally eats, walks, plays, rests, and communicates before care begins. I follow owners’ instructions closely and provide thoughtful updates so you know how your pet is doing while you're away. I’m comfortable adapting my approach to different personalities and energy levels—from senior dogs and cautious or shy dogs who need patience and space, to energetic dogs who benefit from walks, play, and enrichment. I pay attention to changes in appetite, bathroom habits, energy, and behavior rather than simply completing a checklist. I also have many years of experience riding and handling horses, which has strengthened my ability to stay calm, observant, and aware of animal body language. My goal is simple: keep your pet’s routine as familiar and comfortable as possible while giving you peace of mind that they are in dependable hands.

I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable in their own routine. I take time to learn each pet’s feeding schedule, personality, favorite activities, boundaries, and any special instructions from their owner. Whether I am caring for a dog or a cat, I keep doors and gates secure, handle leashes and carriers carefully, and pay attention to their behavior and comfort level. I also respect the owner’s home, keep pet areas clean, and leave everything as I found it. I am happy to send photos and updates during each visit, so you can relax knowing your pet is being cared for with patience, attention, and kindness.

Schedule
I currently have a flexible weekday schedule and am usually available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. I have plenty of time to give each pet calm, unhurried attention and am happy to follow their usual routine for walks, meals, playtime, rest, and companionship.

- I’d love to know your dog’s normal routine, feeding schedule, walking habits, favorite activities, and anything that helps them feel comfortable. Please also let me know about medications, allergies, mobility needs, leash behavior, reactions to other dogs or people, triggers, escape tendencies, or anything unusual I should watch for. The more I understand their normal behavior, the easier it is for me to notice when something is different.
