About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, and have pet-sat my families and friend’s pets over the years. I have been regularly dog sitting the past 5 years. I’m a HUGE dog lover and animal lover in general! I have a Golden Retriever that has had some training to become a therapy dog, and was raised going to work with me at a nursing home. Since working at home now, she gets very excited when visitors come over! She really enjoys having her doggo friends here and is super playful and friendly! I have two son’s that absolutely love dogs and they play and love on them with me. I dog-sit outside of Rover too, so I have more references available if requested! I throughly enjoy dog sitting and I hope to get the chance to meet you and your fur baby! 🐶💕💕 I’m a social worker and I currently work full-time from home, which is perfect! We are a family of 3- me and my two son’s (3.5 and 11.5). We have one dog of our own, Lila. We spend a lot of time at home on the weekends but will occasionally leave to run errands and do other activities. During the spring and summer, we spend a lot of time outdoors on our deck or out in the yard playing! I have a 4ft tall, fenced in backyard with plenty of space for your dog to run and play! I will treat your pet like it’s my own. I can take them on walks, play, and have even taken them to my son’s soccer games. I’m an avid coffee drinker and have brought dogs with me for a pup cup if their parents are ok with that! I will respect and follow the direction given to make sure your dog stays on their normal schedule. I will stay in contact with you as little or as much as you like and will send you pictures and videos of your pet! I do not have kennels nor kennel a dog unless told to do so by a pet parent. I make sure to keep the dog’s food in different areas when it comes to meal time (Lila is not an aggressive eater and does not eat other’s food). I typically do not have more than two doggie visitors here at the same time. I do not force outside play, and I’m fine with as little or as much outside play as your dog likes! We do allow pets on the furniture. Although our dog doesn’t sleep in our bed, we have had other dogs sleep with my oldest son or on my bed. Just an FYI, I do not cat-sit at my home :)
“When I hired Lisa she hadn't completed any jobs through Rover. I met her in person and my gut told me to give her a chance and hire her. I am SOOOOO glad I did. Lisa provided EXCEPTIONAL care to my 7 month old cockapoo, Max. She checked in with me the day before I left just to reassure me that he will be in good hands. Every day I was gone, she provided multiple updates, photos and videos of their daily adventures. She taught Max how to play catch. The first video she sent of him catching a ball was hilarious! I had no idea he could do that so it was a complete and amazing surprise to see him leaping acroos the screen and catching his ball! She stayed at my home with Max except for when she worked her FT day job. There were a couple days that she got off her regular job early and instead of doing her own thing, she came home to hang out with Max. She walked him multiple times a day. She created a routine where every evening they would watch movies with dogs in them because Max loves them, play catch and then have patio time. She left the house in immaculate condition at the end of her stay. She even washed the linens and swiffered the floors! The last day of her booking she was to leave at 8:45pm as I wasn't getting home until after midnight. However, she couldn't bare to leave him in his crate so she stayed until I got home. When I arrived, she had framed one of the photos she took of Max and had it with a note thanking me for letting her watch Max!!!! To top it off, when she left the house at 1:30am Max scratched at the door for her and cried and cried because he missed her. It broke my heart and at the same time validated that Lisa was the right choice to care for my beloved Max!!! I would hire her in a heartbeat again!!! She is THE BEST!!!!”

About: I have had many animals in my lifetime and much experience with different types of pets. I currently have 2 kitties. One of which is a rambunctious kitten.
