About: I have raised dogs and cats through out my life, I currently have a rescue Shih Tzu named Gizmo who is nine years old and is great with other dogs. I worked at an animal shelter for a few years and also at a dog training and boarding kennel so I have experience with all breeds and temperaments as well as years of professional dog walking and pet sitting. I’m getting ready to go to school for dog grooming to add to my pet care skills and would love to take care of your pets to help make money for school! I will give your fur babies the love, care and attention they deserve. I also have experience administering medications including pills and insulin shots. I work short days outside my home starting early in the morning, but my partner works from home so your dog wouldn’t be left alone if you board with me! I’m available for in home visits or walks as well. We have a rescue Shih Tzu who is 9 years old and loves the company of other dogs, she’s not big on playing but she’s all about the snuggles and naps. I cater my care to each individual dog and am happy to discuss your pets needs. If you board with me your dog will get frequent walks and as much exercise as you request, we live in an apartment so I would be taking them out on a leash to walk around the neighborhood; we also have a fenced area specifically for letting dogs run around and play if that’s what you prefer. I am happy to crate them if you’d like or let them sleep in one of my dogs many beds, she sleeps in bed with us so she won’t mind! If I’m coming to your house I can follow any instructions you have for walking/ feeding/ administering medication I’ve done many walks and home visits for pet owners over the years, and my experience in animal shelters and dog training facilities had given me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and needs.

I will treat your pet like it’s my own. I can take them on walks, play, and have even taken them to my son’s soccer games. I’m an avid coffee drinker and have brought dogs with me for a pup cup if their parents are ok with that! I will respect and follow the direction given to make sure your dog stays on their normal schedule. I will stay in contact with you as little or as much as you like and will send you pictures and videos of your pet! I do not have kennels nor kennel a dog unless told to do so by a pet parent. I make sure to keep the dog’s food in different areas when it comes to meal time (Lila is not an aggressive eater and does not eat other’s food). I typically do not have more than two doggie visitors here at the same time. I do not force outside play, and I’m fine with as little or as much outside play as your dog likes! We do allow pets on the furniture. Although our dog doesn’t sleep in our bed, we have had other dogs sleep with my oldest son or on my bed. Just an FYI, I do not cat-sit at my home :)

Lindsey was awesome and very responsive! She was flexible after we had to change the dates and times she was watching our dogs a couple times. She sent pictures every day with an update and we loved receiving them. Our pups looked very content in the photos, so we knew they felt comfortable with her!

Casey was fantastic! He took care of our two dogs for an extended period of time and was very communicative. One of our dogs can be very anxious while our other dog is high energy and relatively new to our household so we didn't know how they'd do. Before our trip, he took the time to meet us and our dogs so he could learn more about them and become a familiar face. From the beginning, it was clear that Casey's kind and inquisitive demeanor was exactly what our dogs would need while we were away. During our travel, Casey was quick to reach out with any questions and even sent photos of the dogs each day! When our return home was unfortunately delayed for another night, Casey didn't hesitate to extend our booking. Highly recommend!
Hayley was great, she did everything we asked for. We left a lot of instructions and she followed them very well, left the house super clean, and most importantly took great care of our dogs and kept us up-to-date. I would recommend her and plan on having her house sit and dog sit again.
