“This is my first time ever using a dog service app. My search was short notice. I am forever grateful for Ms. Lindsey and her compassion for animals. I was very upfront to Ms. Lindsey for everything. I even got home early, therefore she was not able to walk my second. However, because it was short notice, and I’ll invest money into my babies, I did not care about the second walk or paying for it. For a person like me to have trust issues, is not easy to have strangers come into my house with animals that have never had a chance to defend themselves. Ms. Lindsey was so kind, etc. that I felt as ease with her coming in. I EXTREMELY recommend her. I am also disabled and will use Ms. Lindsey in future services from her. About: My heart has always been devoted to dogs ever since I was little. We’ve always had a family dog(s) and I was blessed with my very own little furbaby April 2017. I have a 7 yo golden retriever who is a ball of energy! I am very active; love running and have volunteered at multiple animal shelters. I’m familiar with insulin injections and pill administration. I do work from home now and have a fairly flexible schedule. I recently bought a house.. for my dog ...and he loves his big backyard. It's fenced in and gives him plenty of room to run around and play fetch. Feel free to ask me any questions :) I work from home and have a fairly flexible schedule during the day. My personal gets let out whenever he wants and am open to mornings, evenings and weekends Safety is first. I always check that dogs are not prone to jumping fences, are okay on walks or ask if there’s anything I should know (dart after squirrels or cars, pull, etc). When they stay over they are let out frequently and I’m usually home aside from running errands or going to dinner/ movies. Always fresh water.

About: Hello!! Just as much as I love hugging people I love snuggling with dogs! My name is Kayla and I recently moved to Brookside MO! I am just a 4 minute walk to a nearby trolley trail. I got my first whiff of being a pet sitter when I became roommates with a couple of friends and their golden poodle! From there on out I became a dog/cat sitter for Rover.! I also shared a beautiful German Shepard / black lab with my best friend! If you are looking for a flexible schedule and a caring friend for your family then you are at the right place! I look forward to meeting your furry family! I am able to work from home if needed! Depending on what your pet needs and if they are being boarded my schedule is pretty flexible. About: I offer a fun but structured environment where your pet can feel like part of the family. I have lifelong experience with taking care of and training dogs of all different breeds and backgrounds. As a stay-at-home mom of two school-aged kids and a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I am home mostly all day, and ready to cater to whatever schedule your pup might already be used to. When your pup is here, they will become part of the furry family. I will keep feeding, walks, and playtime consistent with their normal schedule so they feel comfortable and settled. Since I’m home most of the day, they get plenty of attention and play. Most importantly they aren’t left alone for long periods. We also have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run and play.

About: If you’re anything like me, your pets are some of the most important things to you. Leaving them behind is hard, and trusting a stranger to take care of them is even harder. Your pet is your baby — which is why I aim to provide them with the same level of care that you give them! EXPERIENCE: I am an experienced small and large breed dog owner, walker, trainer, and sitter with over 7 years of experience. I’m a certified dog-walker for KC Pet Project and have a degree in psychology that informs my training practices. Some of my other special skills include administering oral medications via pill or syringe, working with blind and deaf pets, adapting to various temperaments from wary seniors to energetic babies, attuning to body language, and providing first aid. One of my own dogs struggles with severe separation anxiety, so I have a wealth of experience with giving daily oral medications, lowering distress levels, and compassionately discouraging resulting destructive behaviors. My schedule is very flexible for walks and drop-in visits! To beat the heat, I’m available in the mornings and evenings. At this time, I am unavailable for constant-care overnight visits. Most of all, I aim to keep your pet safe and to communicate clearly and consistently with you. I’m happy to do meet-and-greets before services begin so that we can establish a relationship and set expectations. I am comfortable with kenneling, provide constant monitoring to ensure safety, and I value giving your pet plenty of attention when in my care. Even if your routine is unorthodox, I am open and willing to try it! Not to mention, I find it important to ensure tidiness and maintain organization by putting things back where they belong.

I have been working in the pet industry since early 2019 - beginning as a kennel attendant, evolving into a professional dog trainer in two prominent KC training facilities, and now running my own small business in Overland Park. I am thoroughly versed in canine care and communication, and use my expertise to help every dog that stays with me have a comfortable and positive experience. Not only that, but I am also very knowledgeable in canine enrichment and stimulation. Have a high-energy, high-needs breed? They'll end their days with me happy and tired. A senior dog that has special needs and benefits from therapeutic stretches? Say no more. Puppies are absolutely welcome as well, and will have many opportunities to practice socialization, building confidence, and manners. My experience also means that I am able to care for dogs with behavioural issues and special health needs. My house is pretty well "dog-proofed" and oriented in a way that I am able to keep a close eye on pets from just about anywhere! So your pup gets to be the king of the castle, with lots of room inside & outside to run and play. Not to mention the mountain of toys.... When I cannot monitor them, they'll get to chill in a cozy crate or pen, with fresh water always available and a chew toy, puzzle, or snack to keep them entertained. For walks and other adventures, I will always keep your dog leashed and close to me. I love to take dogs out on excursions to parks, trails, and other such places! Of course, I will always check with you first to make sure that we don't go somewhere your dog doesn't enjoy. I have three adult dogs (all ~45lbs) and a cat in my home. The cat is dog-friendly, but also is able to be kept entirely separate from your dog if needed. My dogs are all 100% dog-friendly, have good play manners, and are also able to be neutral around/ignore other dogs when told. They are very patient with young puppies as well! And if your pup isn't one for new friends, don't worry - they can be kept totally separate on request, and your dog will still get plenty of one-on-one playtime & snuggles with me. It is 100% up to you if your pup has any interaction with other dogs (or the cat). Full separation is possible, but if you'd like your dog to make some furry friends, I am happy to safely facilitate that! All interactions between your dog and other pets will be of limited time and monitored - the dogs will never be alone together. For safety and management reasons, I cannot accept boarding bookings for dogs that are not able to be comfortable in a crate (or pen, for small dogs only). Have other questions or concerns?
