“My first walk with Odalis was a meet & greet, so I was there for all of it, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say! My friend, Totoro, is a sighthound terrier mix, and although he’s generally an easy-going guy, he can be very stubborn about wanting to mark everything he encounters outside. I was really and truly impressed with how balanced Odalis’ corrections were! It was just enough to get him moving along without making him uncomfortable or giving him an opportunity to ruin my neighbors’ landscaping. Totoro enjoyed every moment of his walk and was a happy little man. He’s also a pretty sociable dude and enjoys making friends, but he truly had a special connection with Odalis. I’m excited to hear about their new adventures together!”

“Michael has been a wonderful addition to our girl’s daily routine. She is so excited to see him in the morning, and comes back from her walks so relaxed and calm. I cannot thank Michael enough for his care.”

“Amber has been the best! Used her on a weekly-basis for walks.. reliable, flexible with my changing schedule and took great care of my dog who is pretty selective with who he trusts!”

About: Hi there - We would love the opportunity to check in on your dog or cat (or pet family). We have 20+ years of pet care experience (dogs, cats, small animals). We are active and would love to help you ensure that your pet is well taken care of. Thanks for considering! I work from home with pretty flexible hours. As long as you don't live too far away I can make drop-in visits and/or walks work! We will communicate to make sure I understand your expectations. I'll treat your home better than my own! I will make sure temperature/environment is perfect for your pet, food and water available (as you determine), litter boxes cleaned and then of course lock up on my way out.
“Rachael did a great job walking our German Shepherd. She is very professional and our dog loved her. We will definitely be hiring her again for our dog and also my mom’s golden retriever.”

“Jaden is well on her way to earning the Official Kangal Stamp of Approval. This is a multi-faceted certification, involving walks and visits designed to test every participant's self-control. Only the best will survive, and even fewer will make it to the end.”

About: Hi! I'm Michelle, I've been dogsitting for over 9 years for friends and family and finally became a dog mom in 2020--it's the best! My husband, Brad, and I both love animals and are excited to join the Rover sitter community. We are comfortable with dogs of any age and any breed, and would care for your dog as if s/he were our own. We can administer medications as needed (we mostly have experience with oral and topical meds, but are willing to learn what's needed for your furry friend) and are very attentive to your dog's diet and feeding regime. We can't wait to welcome your dog into our home while you are away! Michelle works from home so your dog won't be on their own for long periods while staying at our home. We love taking our dog, Joni, on walks (& runs) everyday (we usually go several times each day) and we have a large fenced in yard for additional playtime, so your pup will get lots of outside time to burn off energy and sniff. Your dog will have full access to our home, just as our Joni does, with a variety of toys and bed options (including couches) available throughout the day. You'll get regular photo updates of your pup's adventures while you're away (unless otherwise requested). My husband and I have a large, fenced in backyard that's perfect for zoomies and playtime, and live in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Our 6 year old pup, Joni, is always looking for new friends and someone to share her toys with (she's up to date on her vaccinations and preventative meds). If your dog is crate trained, we'd be happy to find a space to set that up for them in our home during their stay, or they are welcome to use Joni's old crate which we can set up if needed. Additionally, feel free to bring any toys or bedding/blankets that help make your dog feel at home; we want him/her to have what they need to be comfy while you are away.
“Morgan is so reliable, flexible, and laid back, all of which has been a huge burden off my back as I try to manage a giant doodle puppy and a very sick senior cat (and her brother cat) while I myself deal with long term illness. I thought I might have to give up my puppy and she saved the day coming in to help burn his energy and get him back into a manageable routine for me, with training help with him to boot. He is a lot to handle but he lights up my day and I’m relieved she’s helped him feel more manageable for me. Can’t recommend her more!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, and in my family, pets are family. Whether your pet needs medication, a special feeding routine, or just some extra snuggles, I’m here to help them feel safe, loved, and right at home. I’m a full-time student, but I have the most flexibility on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I’m in class from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, but I can still swing by for a mid-day potty break if needed! Your pet’s safety and comfort come first. I have a fully fenced yard for playtime, take daily walks, and have plenty of space indoors. I’m also happy to crate your pet if that’s part of their routine.
“Caroline has been SO amazing. She is so great with our dog Lima, so kind, helpful, accommodating to anything we needed. She spends great quality time with our dog and we are INCREDIBLY thankful. 10/10 recommend her to look after your pups. 💛🫶🏻”

“James was walking my dogs for almost 3 weeks. He was remarkably punctual . I have two large dogs and James was able to handle them both at once. He was great with my dogs and they loved him, they are still watching the door waiting for him to come and get them for a walk. I would certainly recommend James to anyone who is looking for a responsible and punctual dog walker. I will definitely use his services in future.”

“Griffin walked our dog Bailey while we were out of town. Bailey looked forward to it everyday!! He is kind and reliable!! We greatly appreciate him and recommend him! Thanks!”

“We love Lauren and have quickly come to rely on him to take care of our fur baby. He leaves very detailed daily reports and shows that he really is dedicated to animals and their well being.”
