“Jennifer is thoughtful, dedicated, and takes great care of our dog. She’s particularly good at communicating with us about questions and happenings during her visits. Our dog is triggered by other dogs and she does an awesome job managing him, calming him, and loving him. He loves when she visits!”

“Michael's been such an asset to our family. I have to travel for work sometimes, and can be away for months at a time. Knowing Michael will be there to walk our girl gives me such peace of mind. And getting photos from their walks really makes my day when I am feeling homesick. Thank you, Michael!”

“James was walking my dogs for almost 3 weeks. He was remarkably punctual . I have two large dogs and James was able to handle them both at once. He was great with my dogs and they loved him, they are still watching the door waiting for him to come and get them for a walk. I would certainly recommend James to anyone who is looking for a responsible and punctual dog walker. I will definitely use his services in future.”

About: My name is Arizza Bea, but I go by my middle name Bea (Bey-yah)! Im an Architecture student who loves to be around pets ♥️ Caring for pets isn’t just something I do—it’s something I love. With years of experience, I make sure every dog and cat feels safe, happy, and loved. I grew up having pet dogs and cats. I took care of my friends and coworkers pets too. It's something that I truly enjoy doing everyday, so taking care of your fur baby is a great privilege! I love walking! Walking with your dog is even better!! For dog walking clients, i make sure your dog is safe and enjoying the walk. I also know how to leash train, so just say it and i can do it! Discounts for repeat clients! I am flexible, day or evening , hours from 30mins to 4hrs or whole evening. I can help you, just let me know and we can negotiate! I have 2 cats at home. In my home, pets get love, playtime, and comfort just like family. In your home, I follow routines closely, ensuring care, safety, and happy paws. I make sure I stick to their routines and keep them comfortable with a new person like me around! I do this for fun and love for pets, so the only thing I want out of this is to meet as many pups and cats as I can and give them and the owners a happy and relaxed experience. Additionally, I will absolutely respect your home during visits ♥️
About: I have had pets my whole life. I know they are members of families. The last doggie that I had to put to sleep ripped my heart out. I just couldn’t do it again. That’s when I decided that I would give my love to doggies and kitties belonging to others. And I’ve got a lot of love to give them. I’m currently available to take care of your furry babies throughout the week and weekends. My schedule is flexible and I can make plans to fit your schedule. I can visit your furry babies from morning to night. I am very aware of the fact that doggies do not like to have bathroom accidents in the house.
About: I've had a dog ever since I was a child and I married into a cat-loving family so I have experience and love for both pets! I love being outdoors and active as I'm an avid runner in my free time. Walking pets outside is the best of both worlds! Midwest weather also makes chilling with them inside just as fun from time to time haha. I'm a flexible caregiver and my main goal is customer satisfaction. Reach out with any questions you may have for me before booking! I work full-time in a hybrid role from 8-5 and can take an hour lunch at any time. I'm consistently free mornings, evenings, and weekends. I'll always do my best to find a time that works for you! Respecting your home and leaving it just as good as you left it is something I pride myself in. Don't be afraid to ask me to complete any duties to clean up after your pet in addition to taking care of it.
“Rachel is the best ! She takes such good care of our puppies. She is awesome at communicating through the app and always lets us know how the visit went in detail. We love Rachel.”

“Chris was absolutely a wonderful dog walker for our two dogs. He always came on time, and the dogs really looked forward to their walks with him. He is a great communicator so he and my husband were able to communicate through Rover and that was very helpful.”

“Amber is great with my malinois Hendrix! She always leaves good notes on how he did on his walks and sends photos so I get to see my sweet boy while I’m at work! She has great communication and has been very flexible with me.”

“Griffin is amazing!! So very glad we found him. He is fantastic with dogs (including our high energy black lab big “puppy”). He is incredibly reliable, great communication, and goes the extra mile. He leaves detailed notes with tons of pictures about our pup’s walks and really cares about our dog and her well being and health. Thank you, Griffin!”

About: One of the happiest days of my life was when my parents surprised us with a dog for Christmas as a kid. I have a year of working at a dog daycare under my belt and come from a family of dog lovers (seriously we'll watch entire dog shows together and commentate it the whole time). Even though my dog has recently passed, I am very excited to help care for your dog!!! Currently my schedule is wide open for looking after dogs! Recent college graduate in graphic design, not a great market out there lol... so looking for something to do. Fenced in backyard with plenty of space to roam. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, and love walking around town. My sibling is a dog groomer and is also quite capable at caring for dogs in case I'm not around. Full of love and patience, but also able to be firm when needed.
About: My husband and I are experienced, attentive dog parents with over 13 years of hands-on pet care experience. We understand that pets are family, and we treat every dog in our home with the same love, patience, and care we give our own. We have a safe, clean home with a large backyard where dogs can run, explore, and play. We’re comfortable caring for dogs of all ages — from energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs who need a slower pace and extra gentleness. We can follow feeding schedules, administer basic medications if needed, and stick closely to your dog’s normal routine to help them feel secure. We know how important communication is, so you can expect regular updates, photos, and quick responses while you’re away. Our goal is for you to feel completely at ease knowing your fur baby is safe, loved, and well cared for. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine since we’re already devoted dog parents. My husband and I plan our schedules around our dogs’ needs, including walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and cuddle time. I’m available for boarding on weekends and most weekdays, and your pup will never feel like an afterthought — they’ll be part of our home and routine. We have a clean, safe home with a fully fenced backyard where dogs can run and play securely. We also have two friendly, well-socialized dogs who are used to sharing space respectfully. I always supervise outdoor time and introductions to ensure everyone feels comfortable. If your dog prefers their own space, I can easily crate them or provide a quiet area for rest. I carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, and any special requests. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priority.

Cami has been so amazing to our puppy! She has walked him since we got him and has made us feel so comfortable and confident knowing he is getting taken care of. She goes above and beyond with communication, will take pictures of things requested by us, clean up any messes our pup made in our room during his time alone, and never cuts anything short. Our pup loves her so so much! We are so thankful to have her take such good care!

Jaden was absolutely lovely with our dog. Our dog can be a little reactive, so there was some worry since this was the first time leaving our dog home alone. Jaden was very communicative and very helpful, and the care was deeply appreciated. Would definitely book again

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
