About: I have three years of consistent dog-walking experience with the same family and their two dachshunds, visiting three times a week (1 hour walking) without missing a scheduled walk. That long-term commitment taught me the importance of reliability, routine, and building trust with both pets and their owners. I have also provided dog-sitting care for several families, often for about one month at a time, and have cared for dogs of different sizes and personalities. I take time to understand each pet’s normal routine, energy level, preferences, and communication style so they can feel safe and comfortable in my care. In addition to dogs, I am comfortable caring for cats and have many years of experience around horses through riding and handling. This has helped me become patient, observant, calm, and attentive to changes in an animal’s behavior. I genuinely enjoy building a bond through dependable care, play, companionship, and respect for each pet’s individual needs. I currently have a flexible weekday schedule and am usually available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. I have plenty of time to give each pet calm, unhurried attention and am happy to follow their usual routine for walks, meals, playtime, rest, and companionship. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable in their own routine. I take time to learn each pet’s feeding schedule, personality, favorite activities, boundaries, and any special instructions from their owner. Whether I am caring for a dog or a cat, I keep doors and gates secure, handle leashes and carriers carefully, and pay attention to their behavior and comfort level. I also respect the owner’s home, keep pet areas clean, and leave everything as I found it. I am happy to send photos and updates during each visit, so you can relax knowing your pet is being cared for with patience, attention, and kindness.

About: -- Grew up with medium sized dogs. Our parents bred our dogs, so I am versed in the young puppy stage. -- Lived with cats, aiding with their care I love any and all furry creatures and am always down to make a new furry friend. Any questions, just ask! I currently am working part-time and have time to take care of dogs and cats alike. I have yet to meet a furry friend that I don't get along with. I adapt to each pet's home environment and/or training. Consistency and routine is important for any animal and I strive to incorporate that both in my personal and professional life.

About: I offer small-group, in-home boarding, designed for pet parents who want something more personal than a traditional boarding facility. I intentionally keep the number of guest dogs small and manageable. While I do welcome pets from multiple families, I don't believe in packing a large number of dogs into one space. My goal is for every dog to receive individual attention, supervision, affection, and care rather than simply being one of many. Our home is spacious and set up to give dogs room to relax. We have two living rooms, a large unused basement area, and a fully privacy-fenced yard. Someone is almost always home, so your dog isn't spending the majority of the day alone. I have two senior dogs of my own, and I'm very intentional about maintaining a calm, safe environment for everyone's comfort. Because this is our family home, I do have a few house rules. Dogs are not allowed on our beds or couches, and I use baby gates or separation when necessary for safety, feeding, introductions, or simply giving a dog some downtime. My $45/night rate is intentionally priced just below many local boarding and daycare facilities, while still providing the advantages of a home environment: a smaller group, more individualized attention, a spacious home, a private fenced yard, and someone nearby most of the time. If you're looking for a place where your dog can be cared for as an individual—not just another dog in a large boarding group—I'd love to welcome them into our home. ❤️🐶

About: If you’re anything like me, your pets are some of the most important things to you. Leaving them behind is hard, and trusting a stranger to take care of them is even harder. Your pet is your baby — which is why I aim to provide them with the same level of care that you give them! EXPERIENCE: I am an experienced small and large breed dog owner, walker, trainer, and sitter with over 7 years of experience. I’m a certified dog-walker for KC Pet Project and have a degree in psychology that informs my training practices. Some of my other special skills include administering oral medications via pill or syringe, working with blind and deaf pets, adapting to various temperaments from wary seniors to energetic babies, attuning to body language, and providing first aid. One of my own dogs struggles with severe separation anxiety, so I have a wealth of experience with giving daily oral medications, lowering distress levels, and compassionately discouraging resulting destructive behaviors. My schedule is very flexible for walks and drop-in visits! To beat the heat, I’m available in the mornings and evenings. At this time, I am unavailable for constant-care overnight visits. Most of all, I aim to keep your pet safe and to communicate clearly and consistently with you. I’m happy to do meet-and-greets before services begin so that we can establish a relationship and set expectations. I am comfortable with kenneling, provide constant monitoring to ensure safety, and I value giving your pet plenty of attention when in my care. Even if your routine is unorthodox, I am open and willing to try it! Not to mention, I find it important to ensure tidiness and maintain organization by putting things back where they belong.

I could use this time to travel to your locations and offer potty breaks for the animals. I'm pretty open on the weekends without commitments so putting your animal first will always be important. I stick to their usual routine, from feeding times to playtime and walks, ensuring they feel secure and at ease.
