We love taking our dog, Joni, on walks (& runs) everyday (we usually go several times each day) and we have a large fenced in yard for additional playtime, so your pup will get lots of outside time to burn off energy and sniff. Your dog will have full access to our home, just as our Joni does, with a variety of toys and bed options (including couches) available throughout the day. You'll get regular photo updates of your pup's adventures while you're away (unless otherwise requested). I’m opening up my home to Rover guests primarily to provide some social fun for my own dog, Ripley. Ripley is a high-energy ball of joy who loves to play, so if you have a dog that never seems to tire out, they’ll find a kindred spirit here. Whether it's rounds of fetch, wrestling in the yard, or just having a buddy to nap with, your dog will be integrated into our daily routine. What to Expect: • Individualized Attention: Because I only sit 1 family’s dogs at a time, your dogs will get plenty of attention! • Active Days: We specialize in high-energy play. If your dog loves to move, they’ll come home happy and exhausted. • A Present Sitter: I work from home so your dogs will have plenty of face time with me! All dogs with an easy going temperament that are ready to play are welcome. I work from home so your dogs will get plenty of belly rubs and play time. I typically give Ripley a long walk (3 miles) after work that your pup is welcome to join or we can just stick to outdoor play time. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly dog that would love to play outside with your pup. I will send you daily updates and photos. About: My pet care experience began when I was a young child. My parents have always had at least five pets that I helped train and take care of while growing up. After we moved to a farm, they adopted more pets (dogs, cats, chickens, etc.); which allowed me to have more responsibilities and experiences taking care of animals. In college, I adopted my dog and had her for over 13 years. Sadly, she passed from old age and I have not adopted another pet since. I currently have a full-time job, but it does not involve animals. I am on Rover because I enjoy being around animals and taking care of them. My schedule is flexible and would allow me ample time throughout the day to assist others with their pets. My husband and I have very flexible work schedules that allow us to work from home most, if not all, of the week. We love going for walks with the dogs and playing with them in our fenced in backyard. As mentioned above, we have a fenced in backyard. “My first walk with Odalis was a meet & greet, so I was there for all of it, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say! My friend, Totoro, is a sighthound terrier mix, and although he’s generally an easy-going guy, he can be very stubborn about wanting to mark everything he encounters outside. I was really and truly impressed with how balanced Odalis’ corrections were! It was just enough to get him moving along without making him uncomfortable or giving him an opportunity to ruin my neighbors’ landscaping. Totoro enjoyed every moment of his walk and was a happy little man. He’s also a pretty sociable dude and enjoys making friends, but he truly had a special connection with Odalis. I’m excited to hear about their new adventures together!”

About: I was raised with dogs and responsible for feeding and walking them most of my life. My childhood home had a yard for them to play in but we would walk the dogs three times a day on vacations. One of our dogs had accidents a lot so I’m adept at cleaning up. I work from home so I can be anywhere to play and care for your babies.
