“Second time Louie has stayed with Michelle and Bradley. He loves being there, is well cared for and enjoys their dog, Joni. Michelle and Bradley are clear communicators and great representatives of Rover.”

“Jessica and her girls were great to my Lucy and Otis. Jessica sent daily update photos twice a day, morning and evening. She was just the right amount of communicative and provided a great sense of safety while we were away on a trip for five days. Her doggy Rain seemed like a great companion to also get some needed socialization for our Lucy who just loves being around other younger pups. Overall, I would recommend Jessica and her girls to anyone needing a safe place to keep their pups in the KC metro area.”

“Angie C is the best. She gave my Bailey the best experience for her first time away from home and me. Angie and her family gave her so much love that Bailey cried when it was time to leave. Angie sent me pictures everyday, even gave her a bath and took her for walks. I recommend her 100%.She was amazing!”

“Angela was absolutely wonderful! She’s very easy to work with and was willing to let me extend his stay when my flight was delayed. She has a plethora of fun friends that he could play and cuddle with. I only had to bring Ham and his food as she took care of the rest; she ate even wrestled him in his carrier so all I had to do at pick up was scoop him into the car. She’s my go to now for sure!”

About: I believe pets are family, and I care for every animal as if they were my own. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for the pets of family, friends, and neighbors, earning their trust through dependable and compassionate care. Whether it’s sticking to feeding schedules, administering medications, taking walks, or providing overnight care, I’m committed to keeping pets happy, comfortable, and well cared for while their families are away. I love sharing little moments from your pet’s day through photos and updates, so you can feel connected and have peace of mind knowing they’re safe, happy, and receiving plenty of love and attention. I am off work for the summer and my husband works from home 100% of the time so there is always someone home to care for and love on your pet. We go on walks every day and spend a good chunk of the day frolicking in and out and hanging in the backyard. I have a fenced in yard and no stairs to worry about to keep your pet safe or for older pets who have a hard time with climbing stairs. I have two very friendly basset hounds to give your pet additional company😊
“Karrie was wonderful with our little guy, Charlie! She sent updates (with photos) to let us know he was doing well and happy! Would totally use her again! Thank you so very much for caring for him!”

“A genuine sweetheart! If you seek tender care for your fur babies then I’d suggest Miriam, Everytime! In what seemed to be the most difficult time facing home instability she was understanding, patient and responsive before service and beyond with urgency! My Best first experience with Rover.”

“Michelle helped our family when we needed it, and I am super grateful for that. I really appreciate the meet and greet as well. She watched our hound Lucy for a week, and we could tell from the pictures and texts that she was having a very fun vacation from us! We would definitely recommend and use Michelle again!”

“Our dog had so much fun at Kristy's house! She went above and beyond with her care. We've been home for almost a week now, and there's evidence that our pooch is downright bored with us.”

“Mo is so great! She was very accommodating - we had some last minute medication to bring and she had no problems with it. We loved that she sent regular updates multiple times day too. Remi had so much fun, definitely recommend Mo to everyone!”

“Nicole is the reason I was able to spend a week with my GREAT grandchild whom I’d never met! Knowing Loki wasn’t simply cared for, but loved and treated like one of the family, gave me the peace of mind I needed to do this. He always has such a good time with her kids and dogs… to the point he mopes when he has to come home. As soon as I show him a picture of where he is going he gets excited and wants to grab the leash to go. If that doesn’t say exceptional care.. nothing does! Thank you , Nicole. You will always be my first choice from now on! Y’all are amazing and a perfect fit for a high energy dog whom still thinks he’s a puppy! ❤️”

“Colin and Tiffanee were so great! They took excellent care of my needy dog when a last minute trip came up. Clearly welcoming him into their home and sending me lots of pictures.”

“Dana and her family are wonderful to my dog Oliver! Oliver is always so excited upon arrival, as is Dana. I will continue to send Oliver to what I feel is an extremely safe space for him. Thank you for looking out for the fur babies as you look out for your own.”

“Thank you again from taking such good care of Lou and Thena! They had a blast and it's so nice to know they are taken such great care of when we go out of town! ❤”

“Rhiannon and Rachel were fantastic with Lovie, they were very responsive when checking in and made sure she was well taken care of. I would highly recommend booking with them!”

“Kelsey was fantastic!! Our lab has such a great time with Kelsey & her family and was so well cared for! Mango spent 6 weeks with Kelsey due to overseas work and it worked so well! Immediately upon our meet and greet I could tell Kelsey was the perfect person for us - friendly, easy to communicate with, flexible, had a golden retriever for our dog to play with, allowed dogs on furniture, lots of outdoor playtime, and a loving home. Clear communication and pictures every few days kept us informed. I would happily use Kelsey again (Mango would love to go back and see the whole family again) and would recommend her to everyone! Thank you!!”

“Had great experience with Jessie! She was super patient with both of our dogs, but especially with our dog who takes a minute to warm up to new dogs. She kept me updated all weekend with videos and pictures. Couldn't recommend enough!”

About: I am a dog-loving person who said goodbye to my beloved puggle after 15 wonderful years together. After caring for friends' dogs, I realized how much I missed having furry companions around the house and decided to open my home to Rover guests! I provide a calm, loving environment and are best suited for small to medium-sized, family-friendly dogs of all ages. Whether your pup is playful or prefers a cozy nap on the couch, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. My home has a large, unfenced yard, so all outdoor time is supervised and on a leash. I also live on a quiet dead-end street with very little traffic, making it a great place for safe walks and fresh air. Because I primarily work from home, your dog will have plenty of companionship and won't be left alone for long periods. I treat every Rover guest like they're part of the family and look forward to giving your pup a happy, stress-free stay! I work remote with a flexible schedule, so dogs are rarely left alone. If I do need to step out briefly, I'll follow your dog's normal routine—whether that's being crated, staying in a gated area, or another arrangement you're comfortable with. My home sits on a large lot at the end of a peaceful dead-end street with very little traffic. Although the yard is unfenced, I've always used leashes for potty breaks and walks with my own dog in the past, so supervised outdoor time is simply part of the daily routine. Your pup will receive one-on-one attention every time they go outside, and safety is always my highest priority.

Telicia always takes great care of our dog, Joni. We know Joni is in good hands and we get occasional photos showing us what fun she's been up to. Telicia has watched Joni on multiple occasions and we are very happy to have a trusted sitter who we know Joni is comfortable with and will be happy to spend time with while we're away.

We love boarding our dog with her! She is always responsive with communication, sends us pics and lets us know how our dog is doing. Our dog is afraid of thunder & fireworks and I could tell Victoria went above and beyond to comfort her during storms. We can tell she's a big dog lover and is knowledgeable about dog behaviors. We definitely hope to book with her again in the future!

Daniel did an absolutely fantastic job watching my two dogs Quinn (a senior dog) and Phineas (a puppy). He provided the perfect amount of communication and sent some really great pictures while we were away. I was thoroughly impressed by his level of care and would love to book with him again. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in KS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
