“Dana is wonderful, clearly as both a pet owner and caregiver. Leia had a great time and was well taken care of, and I know she would love to be back having fun with Dana and her pups. Great communication and always in touch. Thank you Dana!”

“Second time Louie has stayed with Michelle and Bradley. He loves being there, is well cared for and enjoys their dog, Joni. Michelle and Bradley are clear communicators and great representatives of Rover.”

“Jessie was great! She treats your dogs like family and gives daily updates on how your pups are doing. It brings such comfort knowing your dogs are being taken care of and loved.”

“The BEST family ever! From the moment we spoke I knew that our 8 month old puppy was in great hands. I received daily pictures and updates, which was so nice. I highly recommend this family to take care of your dogs!”

“It was great coming home after three weeks away (!) to find our Stella so happy and healthy-looking. She usually shows some signs of stress when I return home even after a few days, but I could tell she had a great time with Ramon and Dante and I will have no hesitation about leaving her with Ramon in the future. Thank you for your excellent care and communication!”

“Evelyn was great! My two bulldogs boarded with Evelyn for one night. One of my dogs is anxious in new places and Evelyn did her best to ease his nerves. She was so successful that he barely left her side the next day when she was working from home. 😆 She had all their items ready to go at pick up & helped me get all the items loaded back into my car.”
“I can’t say enough good things about Brandi! It was clear that Brandi truly loved Marley, and cared for her as if she were her own dog, which made us feel at ease while on vacation for a week. Brandi has deep knowledge about dog behavior. I was impressed by how well Marley listened to her after just their first meeting. She is an amazing communicator and sent photos and videos daily. Marley clearly bonded with both Brandi and Mike, enjoyed their daily adventures, and felt like a true member of the pack. We will definitely use their services in the future. I would highly recommend them!”

“Rylee did a fantastic job taking care of our pup. She took great care to understand our dog’s needs before the visit and was very communicative throughout the stay. Our dog came home happy and relaxed. We will definitely be using Rylee’s services again in the future!”

“Tasha was an awesome sitter. My dogs loved her and she did a really great job of keeping me posted my entire trip. Great customer service. Will definitely be using her again and recommend her to my friends and family.”

“Rhiannon and Rachel were great. Our dog had an excellent stay with them. Would recommend them to anyone looking for someone to watch your dog.”

“Aaron was amazing! Rudy didn’t want to leave! Aaron helped me out in a pinch and I’m so thankful! He sent pictures of Rudy to me and kept me undated with him! Thank you so much! Definitely will be using his services again!”

“Colin and Tiffanee were so great! They took excellent care of my needy dog when a last minute trip came up. Clearly welcoming him into their home and sending me lots of pictures.”

“Jessica and her girls were great to my Lucy and Otis. Jessica sent daily update photos twice a day, morning and evening. She was just the right amount of communicative and provided a great sense of safety while we were away on a trip for five days. Her doggy Rain seemed like a great companion to also get some needed socialization for our Lucy who just loves being around other younger pups. Overall, I would recommend Jessica and her girls to anyone needing a safe place to keep their pups in the KC metro area.”

“Jill and Julia were very friendly and communicative to make sure our dog was well taken care of. We loved the picture updates and that their dogs were up for energetic puppy play.”

“Victoria did an amazing job taking care of my dog Molly for a long term stay of 6 weeks! She sent me regular photos and updates which was much appreciated. Molly had a small rash from the outdoors and Victoria told me right away and was able to treat her and it resolved quickly. I will never worry leaving my dog with Victoria because I know that she is in great hands!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Roeland Park
Andi made my Stevie girl feel so at home. She messaged me with photos and videos throughout her stay and made our first experience with Rover a great one! We will be using Stevie’s second bestie in the future and highly recommend her to anyone that may be a little anxious leaving their baby behind. Thank you Andi for the fantastic experience 🫶🏼

i… need more stars to press! gus came to us when he was a tiny puppy. he goes everywhere with us, camping, road trips. when we booked a getaway that required plane travel and couldn’t take him along 😭, we knew he’d not likely do so well with being boarded and alone overnight - or in a crate for too long. i was so worried he’d be scared and feel abandoned. so to rover, we came. i scoured profiles for a perfect fit. AND WE SO FOUND IT!!! do not even hesitate for a second to book with courtney and sara! gus had the best care. walks, back yard chases, couch cuddles. they were above and beyond communicative. they sent so many photos and little day to day updates. he was in the best hands. and it was clear that he felt right at home. he’s usually quite shy for awhile with new people, but courtney and sara won his heart, fast. ❤️ we are so deeply grateful for everything. 100/10 recommend. thank you both, again, SO MUCH!

Kayley was absolutely amazing!! I had car issues during my vacation that caused my car to be in the shop for a few days longer than our original reservation and she was sooooo accommodating and just all around very nice and understanding! EVERYONE READING THIS SHOULD JUST BOOK HER :)

We love boarding our dog with her! She is always responsive with communication, sends us pics and lets us know how our dog is doing. Our dog is afraid of thunder & fireworks and I could tell Victoria went above and beyond to comfort her during storms. We can tell she's a big dog lover and is knowledgeable about dog behaviors. We definitely hope to book with her again in the future!

Brittany was absolutely wonderful! She kept me updated throughout the stay with lots of photos and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear my pup was in great hands and I felt completely comfortable leaving her with Brittany. I will definitely book with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in KS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
