I have raised dogs and cats through out my life, I currently have a rescue Shih Tzu named Gizmo who is nine years old and is great with other dogs. I worked at an animal shelter for a few years and also at a dog training and boarding kennel so I have experience with all breeds and temperaments as well as years of professional dog walking and pet sitting. I’m getting ready to go to school for dog grooming to add to my pet care skills and would love to take care of your pets to help make money for school! I will give your fur babies the love, care and attention they deserve. I also have experience administering medications including pills and insulin shots.

Christina was a great sitter for Nillo! She gave him a lot of play and cuddle time. If you’re looking for a good sitter in midtown for high energy small dogs, she’s great!
Christine was absolutely wonderful with Bongo! She was incredibly attentive and provided thoughtful, meaningful updates throughout his stay, along with the cutest photos. It was clear that Bongo felt comfortable with her and settled in right away, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be booking with Christine again in the future. Highly recommend!

Christina and her partner James took amazing care of my anxious pup, Toast. She sent consistent updates that made me feel at peace with leaving him. The best part of all is that I came back to a very normal dog. He was very comfortable in their space and became friends with their sweet dog, Gizmo. Toast slept in bed with them every night and he wasnt left alone, like I was worried. I will 100% be using them again. I was so happy with how everything went!

Christina has provided awesome care when watching my two dachshunds, Kegan and Eisley, over several years. Christina connected with them easily and gave them a great environment so I could feel confident when I was away. Christina was great with administering medication and other special requests as my pups aged. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I work short days outside my home starting early in the morning, but my partner works from home so your dog wouldn’t be left alone if you board with me! I’m available for in home visits or walks as well. We have a rescue Shih Tzu who is 9 years old and loves the company of other dogs, she’s not big on playing but she’s all about the snuggles and naps. I cater my care to each individual dog and am happy to discuss your pets needs.

If you board with me your dog will get frequent walks and as much exercise as you request, we live in an apartment so I would be taking them out on a leash to walk around the neighborhood; we also have a fenced area specifically for letting dogs run around and play if that’s what you prefer. I am happy to crate them if you’d like or let them sleep in one of my dogs many beds, she sleeps in bed with us so she won’t mind! If I’m coming to your house I can follow any instructions you have for walking/ feeding/ administering medication I’ve done many walks and home visits for pet owners over the years, and my experience in animal shelters and dog training facilities had given me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and needs.

A typical day
I love being active I would be happy to take your dog for a jog or play fetch to give them exercise if that’s what they need. My little Shih Tzu is pretty sedentary so it would make my day to be around a playful energetic dog! We are also big on cuddles at our place. I’m experienced with a wide variety of breeds and behaviors from my years of caring for dogs in professional settings, I can cater my care to your pet’s specific personality and energy level!

- Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors you are working on, I am comfortable with almost any level or training; I worked in an animal shelter for years where I handled dogs that were very shy or defensive as well as dogs that are very jumpy and need to work on leash training. Im currently working in a dog training and boarding kennel part time furthering my knowledge. I’m not concerned about barking or reactivity I would just want to know and discuss how you would like me to handle them on a leash!
