I have raised dogs and cats through out my life, I currently have a rescue Shih Tzu named Gizmo who is nine years old and is great with other dogs. I currently work at a dog training kennel and I’ve worked in an animal shelter previously so I have experience with all breeds and temperaments as well as years of professional dog walking and pet sitting. I’m getting ready to go to school full time for dog grooming and would love to take care of your pets to help make money for school! I will give your fur babies the love, care and attention they deserve. I also have experience administering medications including pills and insulin shots.

Christina and her partner James took amazing care of my anxious pup, Toast. She sent consistent updates that made me feel at peace with leaving him. The best part of all is that I came back to a very normal dog. He was very comfortable in their space and became friends with their sweet dog, Gizmo. Toast slept in bed with them every night and he wasnt left alone, like I was worried. I will 100% be using them again. I was so happy with how everything went!

Christina has provided awesome care when watching my two dachshunds, Kegan and Eisley, over several years. Christina connected with them easily and gave them a great environment so I could feel confident when I was away. Christina was great with administering medication and other special requests as my pups aged. Highly recommend!
Christina has been acquainted with my family for a years. She has help dog sitting with two of our dogs. Chipper was a 90lbs. Short Hair Weimaraner mut who lived to be 14 and Kodiak who I have now, a 90lbs. Labradoodle who is almost 11. She also worked for KC Pet Project and walked many different types of dogs for several years. She can be trusted.
I’ve worked in animal welfare for 6 years and I had the opportunity to work alongside Christina, and I can confidently say that she is a hardworking, dependable, and compassionate person. She consistently shows genuine care and patience with the animals she works with, and it’s clear that their well-being is important to her. She is attentive to each animal’s individual needs and handles them with kindness, respect, and responsibility. She isn’t afraid to step up when there’s work to be done, and she puts real effort into making sure things are done properly. She works well with both the animals and the people around her and has always been someone I could rely on as a coworker. Schedule
I work short days outside my home starting early in the morning, but my partner works from home so your dog wouldn’t be left alone if you board with me! I’m available for in home visits or walks as well. We have a rescue Shih Tzu who is 9 years old and loves the company of other dogs, she’s not big on playing but she’s all about the snuggles and naps. I cater my care to each individual dog and am happy to discuss your pets needs.

If you board with me your dog will get frequent walks and as much exercise as you request, we live in an apartment so I would be taking them out on a leash to walk around the neighborhood; we also have a fenced area specifically for letting dogs run around and play if that’s what you prefer. I am happy to crate them if you’d like or let them sleep in one of my dogs many beds, she sleeps in bed with us so she won’t mind! If I’m coming to your house I can follow any instructions you have for walking/ feeding/ administering medication I’ve done many walks and home visits for pet owners over the years, and my experience in animal shelters and dog training facilities had given me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and needs.

A typical day
I love being active I would be happy to take your dog for a jog or play fetch to give them exercise if that’s what they need. My little Shih Tzu is pretty sedentary so it would make my day to be around a playful energetic dog! We are also big on cuddles at our place. I’m experienced with a wide variety of breeds and behaviors from my years of caring for dogs in professional settings, I can cater my care to your pet’s specific personality and energy level!

- Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors you are working on, I am comfortable with almost any level or training; I worked in an animal shelter for years where I handled dogs that were very shy or defensive as well as dogs that are very jumpy and need to work on leash training. Im currently working in a dog training and boarding kennel part time furthering my knowledge. I’m not concerned about barking or reactivity I would just want to know and discuss how you would like me to handle them on a leash!
