“Taryn was soo great with our two dogs. She was very responsive and always on top of taking care of both of our dogs. We couldn't be more happy and content about leaving our two dogs with her.”

“Erin was fantastic! We had severe storms while we were away and Erin was conscientious enough to watch the sump pump and take care of the patio furniture so it wouldn't get blown away too. We were grateful for that!! She took several amazing photos of our dog and communicated daily. We will definitely use her services again in the future. She has a very sweet personality too!!”

“Lori was wonderful with our fur babies! We got plenty of pictures and she was very responsive. She even helped coordinate when we had issues with our alarm system. We would highly recommend her.”

“Emma did me a great service and booked an overnight stay with my pup very last minute when my original sitter backed out. Emma took my pup on a drive and took great care of her. She also sent updates and pictures throughout the night while I was at work, which was greatly appreciated! Would book again!”

“We had never used Rover before as we were hesitant to leave our babies with strangers. I chose Abby from reading her great reviews. She did an amazing job with our 2 dogs and cat. We knew they’d been well taken care of by the way they acted when we got home. She communicated well and sent daily pictures. She stayed at our home and even washed and made the bed! She left our home great. I would highly recommend her!”

“Amazing caretaker. She went above and beyond to ensure my pets were taken care of. My dog had a cough and she took him to the vet and kept me updated every step of the way. Would recommend her to any pet owner!”

“Maryn was so kind to our dogs, you can tell she really is an animal person. She sent us pictures one of the days we were gone and it was great to see the dogs were so happy. Our house was very clean when we came home, and the mail was even brought in! Will definitely be booking again.”

“Amelia was absolutely wonderful!! She took great care of my cats and my apartment. There was a maintenance issue and she handled it like a pro and called me immediately to let me know what was going on. I received daily updates and photos. Will definitely be booking Amelia again.”

“Rachel did an amazing job with our dogs. We were able to enjoy our vacation, knowing she was taking such good care of them. We got daily updates, with pictures. She gladly brought in mail and watered plants for us. She is very accommodating and fit us in to her schedule. She was able to pop in for 3 afternoons visits before her time here started when our son wasn’t able to get here during the day to let them out. We will definitely be calling her for future jobs! She’s a gem!!”

“Kathryn was terrific with my 2 young and energetic Aussies. When she initially came to meet us, she engaged with the pups and they took to her immediately. While I was away, she was a great communicator and I knew the dogs were getting good care, getting all the exercise they needed, and were having lots of fun. Kathryn was especially caring for one of the pups who was experiencing some stomach upset due to puppy mischief so I feel feel doubly appreciative. Kathryn was a delight and she has our thumbs and paws up vote of confidence!”

“Kayla did a wonderful job taking care of our dog! She kept us updated the whole time with pictures and texts, which was great peace of mind! It was obvious how comfortable our dog was with her, from the pictures of him totally relaxed with his belly in the air and how much fun he was having in the yard when we got home!”

“Jen stayed at our home with our two dogs for 4 nights. We could not have been happier with her communication and all of the photos and daily updates she provided. She handled our very rambunctious young lab mix with walks and playtime as well as provided oral medication and Injections meds to our senior dog. Such a delight to have met her. Highly recommend!”

“Desire once again did an amazing job taking care of my pup. Communication is on point. It is so nice to go on vacation and know my pup is getting loved and cared for. I highly recommend her for taking care of your pets.”

About: I've been the go-to dog sitter among neighbors and coworkers because I love a long walk! Although I've had my own pets and use to volunteer at shelters over summers, petsitting works better for my travel schedule these days. I work a hybrid schedule and have the flexiblity to board or drop by 2x-3x a day. I work a hybrid work schedule that allows me the flexibility to work from home to keep your pet company, go for walks/have playtime and give plenty of attention. I have a fenced in yard and no pets of my own currently. I love all animals and can accomidate whatever needs your pet may have!
“Isabel is amazing! She was very communicative and loving with our pup! So very thankful that we have someone we can trust to stay in our home with our pup when we’re away! Thank you, Isabel! Can’t wait to have you over again!”

About: Hi! I’m Piper, and I’ve been taking care of pets for as long as I can remember! I currently have a dog and a cat, but I also have experience with kittens/puppies, elderly cats/dogs, injured cats, and sick cats. I also have experience with farm animals like goats and chickens-safe to say I love animals, and none are too big or small! At this time, I do not offer boarding as I do not have a proper area for your pet. My apologies! I am available 7 days of the week, and have plenty of time for your pet! I cannot sit overnight, however I can wake up bright and early to let them out, along with staying later at night to keep them company. My hours are 8am-12am, with some breaks in between to check on my own pets/run errands. I am unfortunately unable to offer boarding at this time. On walks, I do not allow off leash time unless you (owner) can provide a safe, fenced yard for your pup to play in. This is for your dogs safety! I follow instructions to a T, so please provide me with any medication/feeding information, as well as your typical daily schedule! This helps me make your pet feel more comfortable and ensures I’m meeting your standards when it comes to caring for them. This is required for full/multi day services.
Roeland Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Maryn was so great, our dog had so much fun with her and got so much love, attention, exercise, and play time! She sent so many pictures which put us at ease and allowed us to enjoy our trip knowing our dog was taken care of. Would definitely use Maryn again and definitely recommend her!

Susannah was amazing. She communicated with me on a daily basis with photos and information about our golden retriever. I felt very comfortable about her attention to his needs. She brought her dog which was a great companion for our dog. I would highly recommend Susannah!!! When we returned, our house was in great shape and our dog was happy!!
Evelyn was such a relief, and I mean that deep in my soul. She came into our lives at a moment when I was stressed, pressed, and worn thin by a variety of external issues. Pippa, my 7-month-old kitten, had not only never stayed with anyone (or anywhere else), he'd also never spent significant time with anyone but me. But Evie was patient, kind, and accommodating for both of us -- and eased my mind incredibly because I was fully confident in the safe and conscientious care that Pippa would have while I was away. Evie sent wonderful photos, videos, and reports of Pippa's health and happiness every day -- even allowing for a significant time/internet access difference on my end. And, Pippa loved Evie (to an almost (but not quite) envy-inducing level). I returned to a healthy, happy, and well-played-with cat; a neat and well-cared-for house; and a calm mind. I could ask for nothing more.

Kayma was AMAZING! She did a great job communicating before her stay and during the stay she sent lots of updates and pictures of Otis. My house looked as if she wasn’t there when I returned. I was able to relax during my time away because I knew my anxious dog was being well taken care of, thank you so much Kayma.

Jordan was wonderful with Maggie. She stayed in our home and took care of our girl just perfectly while we were away in Mexico. I've never left Maggie with anyone so it wasn't easy, but Jordan did an amazing job with her and even gave her some medicine Im confident that Maggie is safe, happy and well cared for with Jordan. Im currently booking her again.

Jess was amazing! She took such great care of our pups over the weekend, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’re always really nervous leaving them since they’re basically our children, but she immediately put us at ease with consistent updates and communication. Even when there was an unexpected hiccup with the door (completely out of her control), she handled everything calmly and professionally. We especially appreciated her being there for them during the storms, since they get so scared—knowing they had someone patient and comforting with them meant a lot. We’d absolutely trust her again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter.
Hannah K. has cared for our three pets several times, and this most recent stay set a new standard. She is tremendous. We have three animals, and during this visit each one needed a different care routine due to injuries. Hannah handled it with total focus and confidence. Medications, special instructions, close monitoring. She stayed on top of every detail and never missed a beat. She treats each animal as an individual. You see it in how she adjusts her approach, how closely she pays attention, and how quickly our pets settle in with her. They trust her. That matters. She is also a dedicated dog walker and fits right in with our community of neighborhood pet owners. Communication is excellent. She sends thoughtful updates, shares great photos, and asks smart questions when needed. You always know what is going on, and you never have to chase her down for information. She also takes great care of the house. Everything is clean, organized, and exactly as we left it. During this stay she managed a power outage and a couple of storms without missing a step. No disruption. No stress passed on to us. She handled it calmly and kept everything running smoothly. We have used Hannah many times, and this experience confirmed it again. She is reliable, attentive, and genuinely cares about the animals in her charge. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone who wants their pets and home in capable, caring hands.
