One unique thing I’m able to offer is flexibility — this is my full-time work, which means I can easily adjust my schedule to match your pet’s routine. Whether they thrive on structure or need a little extra attention throughout the day, I’m able to be present and consistent for them. 🐾

Please tell me all about your pet’s quirks — the funny, the strange, and everything in between! I love learning how each pet communicates in their own unique way. If I’m ever unsure about what something means, I may reach out during our time together to make sure I’m understanding them correctly. Lists are always welcome — the more detailed, the better! Clear instructions help us stay on the same page and ensure your pet’s routine stays consistent. Please include things like medication schedules, potty times, litter box routines, special food or treat times, and anything they absolutely cannot have. While I can’t be you, my goal is to make your pet feel as safe, comfortable, and loved as possible while you’re away. 🐾
A typical day
I could honestly watch a cat do their thing all day — they’re endlessly entertaining! Of course, if they prefer their space, I’m always happy to give them that too. For pups, I love heading out for walks or even a trip to the dog park (if permitted ). But my true favorite is a good backyard! Give me some nice weather and a pup - prime playtime material! Above all, my goal is to stick as closely as possible to your pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. One helpful thing to cover during our meet-and-greet (or to include in your instructions) is what activities your pet loves — and what they definitely don’t. The more I know, the better I can tailor our time together! 🐾

I know many people say this, but my love for animals truly started when I was a little girl. I grew up in a home full of pets, and as I got older, I quickly became the go-to person for pet and house sitting. I genuinely loved every moment of it. Over the years, I’ve continued caring for the fur babies of friends and family — of all kinds! I’ve worked with cats and dogs of every shape, size, age, and personality. I don’t discriminate — from energetic puppies to sweet seniors, and even pets with special needs, including diabetes and other medical concerns. Animals rely on us to advocate for and care for them, especially when they can’t fully care for themselves. That’s a responsibility I take to heart, and one I’m always honored to provide. 🐾

Kayla took great care of our dog while we were on a long weekend getaway. She sent pictures and kept us up to date on how things were going. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog in her care - yet again.

Kayla was AMAZING! First time booking with her, but definitely not the last time. She was very quick to respond and sent lots of pics. My dog didn’t seem to miss me too much because he was spoiled and well taken care of. If Kayla is available, book her…you won’t regret it!
I highly recommend Kayla for your pet sitting needs! She is reliable and communicative, and her check-ins gave me peace of mind while out of town. She took great care of my kitties and I couldn’t be happier!
