My wife and I work from home full time, which allows us to spend extra quality time with the pets during the weekdays. We are typically early risers already, so morning potty breaks require no adjustment to our sleep schedules.

First time clients will be required to participate in a preliminary meet & greet session. This will allow us to meet you and your pet in person. It’s a nice gesture for us humans, but it is essential for most dogs to be able to feel comfortable with a new person watching after them for the first time; your pet’s comfort and safety are our No. 1 priorities! During house sitting meet & greets, please feel free to show us parts of the home you’d want us to be aware of and advise of important routines (gardeners, pool staff etc) that you may want us to continue during your time away from home.
Information Philipp A. would like to know about your pet
***Please read the following before booking*** If this is the first time we will be watching your dog, we request a meet and greet with you and your 4-legged friend. It has many benefits such as your dog(s) getting to know us before the actual drop-off appointment, which will help with keeping your pup comfortable and happy during his/her time away from home. We are comfortable administering medication as needed including injections such as insulin shots. If applicable, please provide instructions and we will be happy to continue the recommended routine. Speaking of routine, please describe the eating/bathroom/sleeping routine so I can ensure to follow this trend. Is your pup potty trained? We understand accidents happen at a young age, but if he/she is not a puppy anymore, we ask for him/her to be fully house broken if we welcome them into our home, as we want him/her to able able to roam the full house without worry. Should any abnormal incidents happen such as excessive accidents and or damage to furniture, a cleaning fee may apply. Since we enjoy going to social places with our dogs, we want to make sure your dog is fully vaccinated and does not have any aggression against other dogs. This is important to keep yours and the other dogs happy and safe. If your dog prefers to be a couch potato, we have no problem doing netflix and chill together on the couch. Either way, we guarantee that your pup will get spoiled with belly rubs, back scratches and compliments throughout the entire stay. Daily photo shoots with your pet is why my phone storage is nearly full; needless to say you will be getting plenty updates with photos while you are separated from you little friend :) If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
A typical day
I generally enjoy being outside, whether it is by the beach, on hikes or simply going for a ride through the mountains. Many breweries and wineries are dog friendly as well, so I bring the friendly companion with me for these adventures if they are comfortable in public. We also have a fenced in backyard and live close to several dog parks where we can play and let some of that energy out.

Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs in my home and had a dog myself until recently. My wife has had a similar history, but also took care of a variety of farm animals. I started dog sitting for friends while I lived in various places on the east coast prior to starting with Rover in California in 2019. We hope to rescue another dog of our own in the near future, but until then, we will be spoiling your pup with belly rubs. We are friendly, reliable and trustworthy young-professional, who can't wait to meet your 4-legged best friend and will care for dogs of any age and size. Don't be shy to message us with any questions, as we want to make sure you are 100% comfortable before handing over the leash.

Philipp and Megan took great care of our dogs! They sent pictures daily and communicated well. We felt very comfortable leaving our dogs in their care. We would absolutely book with them again!

We needed a sitter to stay in our home with a cat they’ll seldom see and a 14 year old doodle who can barely see or hear. The cat became semi sociable but our dog just LOVES Philip. We can tell by the look on his face in all the pics he sends us…and he’s still happy when we come home. Philip is very considerate of our home. We are totally comfortable with he and Meagan staying here and hope we can get them available for our next trip.

Phil was fantastic! Highly recommend him. He stayed with our girls for an overnight! Sent lots of pics while we were away!!

Phil was truly incredible during a very difficult time for our family. We had an unexpected funeral and had to leave town within just a few days, and from the moment we met him, he made us feel completely comfortable and at ease. We didn’t worry for one second. He is an excellent communicator, keeping us updated throughout the stay, and he even captured the most beautiful photos. We absolutely love the pictures and will treasure them. We truly can’t thank him and his lovely wife enough — we loved them to pieces and feel so grateful to have found someone so trustworthy, kind, and caring. Highly, highly recommend Phil to anyone looking for an exceptional dog sitter.
