“A genuine sweetheart! If you seek tender care for your fur babies then I’d suggest Miriam, Everytime! In what seemed to be the most difficult time facing home instability she was understanding, patient and responsive before service and beyond with urgency! My Best first experience with Rover.”

About: grew up on a farm surrounded by animals especially dogs, have raised/trained more than i can count and would love to give your dog a friend away from home while your away currently working part time, lots of time available for your doggos, walks, playdates, pup cups, All of the above! id love to put your mind at ease and a smile on your dogs face my apartment has a full fenced in courtyard with even a doggy park with full washing stations as well. can bathe them before returning if requested
“Angie did a wonderful job taking care of Molly and Sophie. This was our first time using Rover, and we couldn't have felt more confident in their care. Angie gave us daily updates and pics which made us not feel guilty for being gone. We could feel easy about being away and would definitely use her again.”

“This was my first time using Rover, so when I saw Jessica’s reviews, I went with her! She was great! She was great at communicating and was consistent with updates! I can tell Archie loved her and her family.”

“Rachel was awesome! Very flexible and sent many pictures of the dogs during their stay with her. I would definitely book again and highly recommend her.”

“Savannah was a lifesaver for a last-minute booking! I’d never used boarding before and was really nervous, but she made me feel at ease pretty quickly. I even forgot a few things for my dog, and she had everything covered. She sent updates with photos and always responded quickly when I texted. If you’re nervous about boarding like I was, I can’t recommend Savannah enough!”

“Stephanie was quick responder and saved us from a very stressful last minute cancellation from another sitter. She sent lots of pics and updates from the weekend, putting as at ease. Would highly recommend her! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Brandi and her husband were wonderful to interact with. She did her best to assuage my guilt for leaving my beloved dogs for a week, sent a lot of photos about their fun experiences and even provides some much needed training (to the dogs and me). Because Brandi had known Feliz when he was at KCPP, she was able to fill in his back story for me. That is priceless. She's wonderful to work with, cares passionately about the care she provides and does a stellar job. I hope that if I need to board my babies again, she'd be willing to work with us.”

About: I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember, so caring for them has always been second nature to me. I grew up with both cats and dogs, and for some reason in my teens, our household animals started latching onto me one at a time, over anyone else in the house. My childhood cat, Bernice, was actually the same age as me! She essentially became “my” cat when we were 15 and shared a converted attic space attached to my bedroom. I was put in charge of all things Bernice, including making sure she had her own comfortable space where she could admire our dogs from a distance, as she mostly preferred. Around the same age, I also started helping care for my “god dog,” and my mom started regularly dog-sitting for friends and family. Having different dogs in our home taught me early on that every animal comes with their own personality, routine, boundaries, and comfort level. After college, our family dog, Marmalade, decided I was her new human and that my dad was now chump change. Between my own pets and the animals I’ve helped care for over the years, I have experience with both cats and dogs at different ages, energy levels, and temperaments. I really love learning about our furry friends and all their little quirks. Whether your pet wants long walks and playtime, constant affection, or would prefer that I simply respect their personal bubble and provide snacks, I’m happy to meet them where they are and keep their routine feeling as normal and comfortable as possible while you’re away. I’ve always had animals in my life, so building my schedule around their needs feels natural. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon check-ins for playtime or company, making sure they get the time and attention they’re used to. My goal is to keep life feeling as normal and comfortable as possible while you’re away. I know every pet has their own routine, and I do my best to stick to it. I’m happy to play with them or just be a friendly companion if that’s what they need. I give lots of good lovins and am happy to send all the photo updates you want or need!
“Olivia was great with Koda and was very flexible with my changing schedule. Super sweet and caring towards my pup. I would definitely recommend her to anyone for a safe and comfortable stay for their pet ☺️”

“I have a 12 year old maltipoo and a 4 year old long hair chihuahua.Derrika is a blessing for me because she treats you fur baby like he is her own. She is very loving, caring and patient. I would recommend her to anyone.”
About: I am a dog-loving person who said goodbye to my beloved puggle after 15 wonderful years together. After caring for friends' dogs, I realized how much I missed having furry companions around the house and decided to open my home to Rover guests! I provide a calm, loving environment and are best suited for small to medium-sized, family-friendly dogs of all ages. Whether your pup is playful or prefers a cozy nap on the couch, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. My home has a large, unfenced yard, so all outdoor time is supervised and on a leash. I also live on a quiet dead-end street with very little traffic, making it a great place for safe walks and fresh air. Because I primarily work from home, your dog will have plenty of companionship and won't be left alone for long periods. I treat every Rover guest like they're part of the family and look forward to giving your pup a happy, stress-free stay! I work remote with a flexible schedule, so dogs are rarely left alone. If I do need to step out briefly, I'll follow your dog's normal routine—whether that's being crated, staying in a gated area, or another arrangement you're comfortable with. My home sits on a large lot at the end of a peaceful dead-end street with very little traffic. Although the yard is unfenced, I've always used leashes for potty breaks and walks with my own dog in the past, so supervised outdoor time is simply part of the daily routine. Your pup will receive one-on-one attention every time they go outside, and safety is always my highest priority.

“Lucy is SO wonderful! She is flexible, communicative and welcoming. She made sure our shy girlie was comfortable and well taken care of. She provided photos daily and sweet updates! Whether you’re leaving your dog with her for a day or a week, he/she will come home happy and tired!!! 💛”

“Once again a great stay for Nelson. This time he knew where we were going and got excited when I turned into Noreen's neighborhood. I got plenty of picture updates of Nelson throughout his entire stay. He enjoyed the walks and playing in the back yard. It snowed and he loves the snow. I highly recommend Noreen and will use her services again in the future for any trips I may have upcoming.”

“Samantha is an excellent dog sitter! She invited Honey and Walter over for a meet and greet a few weeks before the boarding date for everyone to get acquainted. The pups settled right in and enjoyed their time. Samantha checked in regularly and sent pictures to show what they were up to. We will definitely board our dogs with her again!”

“Linda is warm and very knowledgeable about animal care and ways that pups can feel comfortable in her home. She is super calm and I’m sure my dog sensed that. Boy, does she love dogs. For the first time ever boarding my dog, Puddin came up to the door when I came to pick her excited but super chill. She was so relaxed! She didn’t want to bolt out the door as she usually does. Great dog sitter and I felt safe leaving my dog with him. The only disappointment was, my dogs favorite toy was thrown away because it got ruined. (I did have to ask about the missing toy first.) I don’t know how it happened because my dog usually doesn’t play rough. I won’t knock a star off for that, because I know things happen. But next time, just let me know without me having to ask. Thanks. 😊

Yeanna took great care of my little guy! I really appreciated her being flexible with the drop off time. Excellent communication and she sent some cute pics where he looked right at home. I highly recommend her and will definitely be reaching out again in the future!!

Katelynn was very good with communication. We appreciated that she was able to help with Buddy last minute. We don’t just leave him with anybody, we are happy we found a great sitter for his personality while visiting KC! We would book with her again if in the area .
Malavika is top notch! She is kind, accommodating, and cares about her clients - both human and feline! She went out of her way, at the last minute, to house our 2 kitties while we were traveling cross country and we appreciate her so much. I recommend her to anyone and give her an A+ rating! Thank you Malavika!

Our dog, Chloe, had the best time with Emily! She made sure Chloe felt comfortable and loved right away. She also made sure she was well entertained during her stay - taking her to the dog park and playing with her toys. Emily was great with Chloe’s routine and medication. She sent me plenty of updates and gave me tons of peace of mind during our trip! I’d 100% recommend booking Emily as your Rover!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
