About: I have dog sat and cared for many other dogs and animals before. I will always make sure the animals are well treated for and the house is taken care of. I am very friendly and strive to make sure every experience is friendly. I have two dogs of my own. I am excited to be able to take care of your dogs and make sure they get what they need while you are away from home. Something that sets me apart from other sitters and walkers is that I am very client forward and will work to meet your needs. I am currently working part time, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups, I am available for walks and check ins Monday/wednesday/ thursday and house sitting Monday- Sunday! I follow all directions owners leave for me to care for their dog and home.I also help run errands while owners are away, and in warmer months I take care of indoor and outdoor plants
“Very friendly, on time and courteous! Cleaned up after the dog accidents, first time I’ve come home to a non-smelly home after a dog sitting. Very appreciative of Emma’s service!”

“I booked Gabriella for drop in visits for our pups while we were away at our granddaughter’s competition. She came by twice as requested and I think the pups were happy that she did. I would request her again if needed.”

“Vanessa was awesome! We only booked a drop in, but she helped us out a lot when we needed our girls to be taken potty while we were out of town for the day. Thank you again! We’ll definitely rebook in the future.”

“I am so confident in Jessica's abilities to help and take care of my puppy when I am away at work! I look forward to our training sessions together! She is great with communication and even better with my pup!”

“My second time working with Rachel and five stars across the board. I highly recommend her as she is so friendly and easy to work with. Thank you Rachel for taking care of my baby!!!”

“Jennifer was FANTASTIC! Her care was top notch and I felt so secure leaving my kiddos with her. I genuinely think that one of my cats, Toast was disappointed to see us, and not Jennifer. She gave great updates and photos at every visit and we appreciated her so much! I will absolutely contact Jennifer again for care of our kitties.”

About: My parents recused a handsome pittie who is not socialized. Ive helped train & introduce him to new people. I’ve also done a lot of traveling and pet sitting on different sites. I’m accustomed to a wide range in personality, age, routine and medical needs. I am working full time and limited on hours. I specialize in pet sitting. My services would be to care for your dog when you travel. I’m great with pets in their own home. I spent a summer road tripping through trusted house sitters where I meant a lot of wonderful animals and pet parents. As long as there is clear communication on the accommodations and expectations we’re in good shape!
“Maggie was great at communicating about our cats and any important updates. She also proactively reached out for any schedule adjustment requests and made sure they were well taken care of”

About: Hello! I am a pet lover with years of experience in caring for pets young and old. I am based in downtown KC but have reliable transportation. If I am out of your range, message me anyway and we might be able to work something out :) In my life I have owned 1 dog of each size (small, medium, and large of course), two parakeets, a guinea pig, several goldfish, and a leopard gecko. I currently live downtown with my two kitties, Josie and Jade. I have several years of both catsitting and dogsitting experience with close friends and family members, and it has always been the most fun side job so I thought I'd give Rover a shot. I also have housesitting and plant care experience. I am a full time actor, so regularly I work from home and will spend certain full days on set, not usually consecutively & with minimum 1 week’s notice. Additionally, in June I have evening rehearsals on weeknights and weekend rehearsals 11a-5p here in town. I am communicative with clients & I like to send photos at client request. In situations of senior care or medication, I will always opt to message with a question rather than make an unsafe assumption. Additionally, I am a very clean person and prioritize leaving things how I found them.
About: I have always grown up with dogs as well as taking care of neighbors and friends dogs my whole life! I absolutely love being around dogs and giving them the love and attention they deserve. My experience includes dog & house sitting, boarding, and dog walking. I’m currently working full-time but my hours are flexible! I am available for dog walks in mornings or evenings as well as check ins in evenings and weekends. I have always been a safe and trusted pet sitter for all families I have worked with. I am respectful of anyone’s home that I enter and pets that I care for. I strive to provide the best care for your pet.

“Kaitlyn was super professional and wonderful with our cats. She sent pics and communicated along the way. She spent extra time with them and the cat litter and food areas were spotless. Will definitely be using her again!!!!!!”

“Erica did a great job taking care of our elderly cat Cindy and keeping us updated with Rovercards. It is wonderful to be able to leave home for a few days and have someone available to care for your fur babies! Thank you!”

About: I am new to Rover but I have watched my friends and families dogs over the past few years. I live with my girlfriend and am a dog dad to 2 senior dogs named Roxy and Andrew. As a UMKC business student, I'm hoping to start my own doggy daycare business in the future with my girlfriend and figured Rover would be a great place to start! My dogs are 2 of the most important things in my life and I make sure they know it. At my home your pet will be no different and I hope to become part of their extended family away from home. At my home I will be making sure your pup is comfortable, happy, and enjoys their stay. They will get plenty of potty breaks and exercise in as well as all the R&R that their heart desires. My pups love meeting new friends that they can lounge around with as well. My house is always dog safe and I will always make sure to keep you updated. I currently live with my girlfriend and I've had a dog since 2010. I have 2 senior pups named Roxy and Andrew who are currently living their best life. I make sure that they are fed twice a day with some snacks or treats in between. On nice days I make sure they get enough exercise in the back yard or at the park. I have plenty of dog toys for your little one to play with. We can do a meet and greet as well to make sure everything is perfect during your stay.
“Laney did a super great job taking care of our 6 dogs for 4 days. We scheduled 3 drop in visits a day for 4 days. She checked in on time and sent her report with several pictures after each visit. This is the first time I have ever left my babies in the care of anyone outside of family, and to say I have anxiety leaving doing so is an understatement. I am thankful to have found just the right person on Rover! I will defuse Laney again and highly recommend the Rover experience!”

About: Things I love: working out, basketball, Jesus, traveling, cooking, coffee, public education, and DOGS! I have lived in KC for 10 years and finally got my puppy, Lola, in May of 2025! 🐶 I work during the days Monday - Friday, but my schedule is more flexible during the summer months. I am available most evenings and weekends! I live downtown in a condo on the first floor. There is a grassy area right outside my back door. I am close to dog parks and enjoy going for walks around my neighborhood.
“Hallie visited Charly exactly when she said she would. I received emails and photos of Charly's food bowls so my mind was at easy. No photos of the puss because Charly is very shy around people she doesn't know, so that was not unexpected. I am very happy how this experience turned out.”

The median cost per visit for dog sitting in Kansas City is $20
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Kansas City
This was my first time using rover and Noelle went above and beyond my expectations. There is a reason she is high-rated and has so many bookings! Our dogs loved her and we felt totally up to date on how our fur babies were doing at all times. She administered meds, took them for walks, played with them, and gave us many updates while we were out of town for four days. We are so grateful! We will rebook with her for our next trip.

Regan did a wonderful job with the drop in visits. My dog really liked him and my shyest cat came out to see him, which I consider a good sign. Regan also made sure the feral cats had food and water as requested. Sent me photos & quick updates. I would love to hire Regan again when I go out of town.

Jennifer is an absolute sweetheart and Louie loves having her as a sitter. He even goes to his kennel all by himself while I'm getting ready for work. She checks in regularly and gives me photo updates. The most important thing is that she gives him the care and attention I'm not able to give him while I'm at work. I book with her every week because I'm so happy with the way she takes care of my baby boy.

Taylor was so awesome. My hubs and I came to KC for a wedding and just needed a sitter for a few hours each day while we attended the wedding activities. Taylor was able to stay with Murphy on short notice. She took him to a park and played ball with him for a hour. We are so grateful to her. It’s hard to stay with an active dog in a hotel and Taylor just made it so easy for us and made our sweet boy a happy dog. 10 outta 10. Highly recommend Taylor for taking care of your fur babies. 🥰

Rafaela was amazing with my cat and dog! They were both so comfortable and happy when I got home, and she kept me updated with photos and messages while I was away and even made me aware of a beeping noise that was coming from the laundry unit. You can tell Rafaela really cares about animals — my pets were in great hands and I would gladly book Rafaela again!

Cannot say enough about Kennedy. I had updates all the time and pictures and this is the first time I left my dogs in someone else's care and I was 100% comfortable with her! She was amazing and so caring for my babies. And my dogs loved her! Not sure they were even excited to see me when I returned...LOL. A 5-star dog sitter for sure! Total dog person with a HUGE doggy heart!!!! Thanks Kennedy for all your sweet love and care for my boys!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
