About: I grew up on a farm with many types of animals and hard work. I have worked in veterinary clinics as a kennel attendant and now a veterinary assistant for over 10 years. I have experience with dogs, cats, and exotic pets. I'm comfortable caring for elderly and sick pets as well as giving medications. I live and work in the Liberty MO area. I am an early morning person and can do early morning drop in visits and walks before 7 am (including weekends and holidays). I typically get my lunch break between 12-2 pm. I can come and do a drop in visit or do a short walk over my break. Evenings are a possibility but are less flexible and open. I can offer enrichment with treats, playtime and exercise. I like a good cuddle session as well as a hyper wrestling match, or active fetch game. I enjoy being out in God's creation and am open to more nature based walks if you have an active curious pup (like my own dog). I think cats should also be enriched and loved. I like playing games with cats and helping them feel comfortable and spoiled. I have owned a lizard of my own and am not afraid of reptiles or rodents. I think exotic pets need enrichment, entertainment, and love as well.

My female dog doesn't take kindly to strangers right away, and Kristen assured me that she knew how to handle it, and sure enough, they were cuddling by the end of it! Her notes were detailed and entertaining, and she sent me pictures and videos, even though she was only there for a short drop-in. I would use Kristen again for drop-ins, as well as walks and trips to the dog park!”

About: Raised with dogs and always been around them for the past 29 years of my life. I've also pet-sat for cats since 2012 and have lived with them since 2020. I currently have 4 cats, and a dog I share custody of with my parents. I love parks, going on walks or hikes, and always follow hygiene procedures. Cleaning litter is no problem. I have minor dog training experience and will always ask what commands you want me to remain consistent on. I have experience giving cats and dogs oral medication via syringe and pill, and am familiar with specific dietary and medical needs. If your pet needs extra mobility help I am here for them, too. What sets me apart is that I am reliable, calm, and enthusiastic about all animals. I have recently returned to university, so my schedule is very flexible. Most of my classes are online. Every week I check what needs to be done for the next week so that I can plan the best patterns for work, study, and life. Staying up late or Waking up early is no problem. The first thing I do in respect to any client is get to know what expectations are and a brief history of the pet and their needs. Setting firm boundaries while expressing deep compassion and care is my go-to. I adore playing with active pets and giving them plenty of cuddles and attention - but if a pet is skittish of strangers or doesn't like being touched I will always give them the space they need to be themselves. Trust is a two-way street and as a human it is my responsibility to bridge the language gap with patience, love, and consistency. Making sure pets are safe and accommodated for in weather is a priority, whether that is in the form of hydration, giving them a coat, or assuaging their fears.

About: I’m so glad you’ve taken the time to visit my page. Hi! I’m Kiri! I’ve provided care for dogs, cats, and many types of exotic pets for decades. I grew up on a nature sanctuary where I learned to care for animals at a very young age. Nothing brings me more happiness than to see an animal thriving in my care. I have walked and cared for dogs as large as Great Danes to as small as chihuahuas. I have owned my own dogs, cats. No animal is beyond my scope of care. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved pets and giving them the care of royalty. I currently am self employed so my availability is wide open. I would love to be your go to dog walker and establish a well rounded routine of care. I will come to your place, provide my own leash, treats, and doggy bags, and will walk your dog from half an hour to an hour depending on what you are wanting. I will feed and water any and all pets, change out litter boxes.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I currently have 2 dogs who love attention. Life gets busy- I’m excited to walk and play with your pup when you need help! I’m a full time nurse. I work 3 12 hour days a week, so I have plenty of time on my 4 days off to walk and help care for furry friends! I’d be happy to meet with you prior to selected services to ensure you and your pet feel comfortable with me. I’ll make sure leashes and harnesses are secure prior to walks. About: I've worked in the field of caring for others for a long time..babies, children and/ or adults with special needs, elderly, dogs, cats, you name it! I have fostered several dogs and even a cat! I have had cats in the past. I have owned and helped care for friends and families’ dogs, cats, lizards, snakes, guinea pigs, etc. I'll be devoted to providing the best care and fun for your fur-babies as I can! I'm reliable and responsible and I love animals. I have 2 dogs and I have consistently been a hand in helping friends and family with their animals in a pinch because I love spending time with animals. I have a big heart and I love to have fun and play sessions with almost all animals. I'm very attentive of dogs' needs and care for their happiness a great deal. I love give them hugs and kisses (if they allow it)..I promise to follow all instructions as best as I can and give the best care to every animal I meet! My full time schedule is 9am to 6pm. I do house sitting, which means I will stay with your pets at night. I also do drop in visits and dog walking so my schedule books up quick, but that’s the way I like it! I also have 2 dogs that I make sure to see every day as well, and my Great Dane goes to training classes for obedience (now) and later will go for therapy. I don’t live alone so they have someone else to help me care for them so that I can Rover as much as possible :) I am flexible when caring for dogs in your home and can meet you where you’re at. I 100% know that every dog is different just like every person is different. I celebrate difference and strive to help where I can. I work with integrity and, of course, respect.
