About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)

About: Hello! I have been a dog walker/sitter for 8 years and have taken care of several clients and their dogs, including relatives and neighbors. I am 18 years old, with a dog of my own and a huge passion for dogs, who is currently studying to be a veterinarian. Additionally, I take pride and excellence in letting dogs outside, cleaning up their messes, having high patience and tolerance, ability to withstand dog barking/scratching/biting etc, bathing, feeding, watering, and dog walking. I also give special attention to any additional needs a dog may have At this time, I am not working any part time or full time jobs. I am willing to support you and your pet family at any time and during any day. Based on your preferences, I can walk and sit your dogs at any frequency. Just let me know what works best for them and I will be willing to accommodate you When it comes to my neighbor’s, relative’s, and my own dog, I take care of them by putting food and water in their bowls once they run empty, taking them outside when they line up at the door or every 0-2 hours, giving them lots of pets, separating any dog that gets in a fight with their sibling using calm/safe measures, plenty of walks and a kind demeanor. Any dog that is in my care will be in good hands
About: I have never lived a day my 34 years without at least one pet to my name, usually dogs and cats. I have taken care of dogs and cats through every stage of life -- from delivering puppies to training competitive hunting dogs and providing palliative care for aging pets. I have a medical background and am comfortable with basic medical care. I work at home and am generally home the entire day. I have total flexibility over my schedule so it's easy for me to adjust to last-minute changes. I live in a spacious one-bedroom apartment in a very animal-friendly complex with plenty of residential streets and parks for long walks and fun. You can trust me to not only care for your pet but to respect the boundaries you set forth in regards to your pet's care.
“Laura has been amazing! I have booked her a couple times now and she has been a lifesaver! She is great with my fur babies, she is reliable, and always on time! We appreciate her so much!”

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give every pet. I know that trusting someone with your furry family member is a big decision, so I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m patient, dependable, and committed to following your pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. This is my only job at the moment so I am very flexible. Soon, though I may do some substitute teaching but that is a nice job too because it’s also very flexible. I care for every pet according to their individual routine and needs. I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection. I pay close attention to their behavior and comfort, and I’ll follow any specific instructions you provide, including medications, feeding schedules, or other special care.
“Kellie was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to help us during one of the most difficult times in our lives. She was patient, understanding, flexible, and gave us such peace of mind allowing us to focus on being with family during the loss of my father and one of our fur-babies. I couldn't have asked for a better individual to come into our lives at our lowest point. She did such a great job with our fur-babies as well! It's not always easy working with stray/feral cats (which both out girls are), but she was amazing with them. I will definitely call her again for our next trip!”

About: I’ve taken care of others pets or my own most of my life. I have had my current dog for seven years. He just turned 12 so I also have experience with geriatric animals as well I am a single father so my availability can fluctuate depending on if you are okay having a a 3 year old come and help (fully supervised) . Want to be able to best meet everyone’s unique needs! I will follow any and all instructions left for me. I’ll make sure your pet feels like you never left the house and that every need is met.
About: I began pet sitting in college and fell in love with the experience. I have pet and house sat for about 5 years and am always happy to love on someone's beloved furry family members (only the kind with 4 legs, please ;). If you want someone to send lots of pictures and updates about your baby, then I’m your girl! I have additional experience in puppy training, home care, and multi-species households. I work from home, which allows me to place pet care as a priority in my schedule. This gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, play time, accident clean-up, and more. As I work from home, I am able to keep round the clock supervision of animals. I have a fenced in dog park that can allow for off-leash activities. I also have a very brave cat who enjoys meeting new people and pets.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. I spent 13 wonderful years with my baby, Luda. For the last 8 years of his life, I made sure his medicine was organized and given on time, and that he never missed a vet appointment. I learned to truly listen to his body language. Even if that meant a 2 AM potty break. Let’s set up a meet and greet to see if I’m the right match for you and your fur baby! My schedule is flexible depending on the day. I am fully available from Tuesday late afternoon through Wednesday late afternoon, and Friday late afternoon through Saturday late afternoon. I am also open for overnight stays on Tuesday and Friday nights! On my other days, I work from 5 AM to 2 PM, so I am completely free for quick pop-in visits or walks anytime after 2 PM. If you have any questions about how your pet fits into my schedule, feel free to reach out! At this moment, I only provide care inside your home where your pets are most comfortable! For safety and peace of mind, your pet will never leave your property unless we have explicitly agreed on walks beforehand. I have a strict no-dog-parks policy to eliminate any unnecessary risks. While my profile is set to small and medium dogs, I am happy to care for large dogs as long as all exercise and potty breaks stay contained within your yard. Lastly, for the safety of everyone involved, a Meet & Greet is required before any bookings are finalized, thank you!
About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life with different needs and personalities, I've also had family and friends come to me to take care of there pets. I'm currently working part time at a jackson animal clinic, i work 5-6 hours a day about 4 days a week. My schedule changes every week. I have a fenced in yard with two cats that are very friendly. Trust i will have full attention to your pet and make sure their needs are met.
“Rio was wonderful with my 2 doodles. One of my dogs is a huge (100 pound) fraidy cat - afraid of everything but Rio showed patience with her and took the time needed for her to warm up. I appreciate her dropping in for a last minute booking. Prompt response time and great communication- Highly recommend!”

About: I have had pets all my life from dogs and cats to gerbils, hamsters and fish. Even as a young child I was primarily responsible for most of the routine daily pet care. I'm a trained CNA with applicable caregiving skills. I also have extensive experience as a shelter volunteer having walked the dog and played with them as well as socializing the cats. I'm currently self employed as a home care aide and wish to take care of animals in between assignments or during days off. I do not have any responsibilities that would interfere with me taking care of your fur babies. I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have a yard stake. I live in a townhouse with an open grass backyard. I regularly take my dog to The Liberty, MO Stockdale dog park and can take yours there too if that's your preference. If you wish I can walk your dog as many times per day as you prefer. My neighborhood has paved sidewalks and walking paths that I routinely use to walk my dog daily. I have one cat and one dog and each get along with other cats and dogs very well but should there be any unforeseen issue, I can put your pet in my spare bedroom. I also own a wire dog crate for large dogs. I can crate your pet in your home or my home if you wish me to. I will take care of him or her in whichever way you prefer. I do not crate my dog but I did as a puppy to facilitate his potty training. My dog sleeps with me at night as does my cat sometimes. Both are friendly and well socialized but again, I can put either in a spare room or your pet if necessary. Both my pets are up to date on their vaccinations and they get a monthly pill for flea and tick prevention. I can do everything from long or short walks, taking them outside for potty breaks, administering food or medicine, playtime, etc.

“Jennifer C. Was amazing with everything! Very punctual, professional and great with maintaining open communication. She was patient with our dog, who has lots of energy and tends to be anxious around new people, which put me at ease when away. She went above and beyond and we will definitely be using her again!”

About: As someone who grew up on a farm, I have experience caring for all kinds of animals, and I love them all. I’ve owned both cats and dogs, so whether you’ve got an energetic doggo that needs lots of movement, a homebody pup that loves cuddles, or a shy kitty who just wants someone’s presence nearby, I am happy to accommodate to offer them the care they need. I have provided lots of exercise enrichment for the dogs I’ve cared for. I genuinely enjoy walking, so it makes both of our days when your pup(s) loves walking too! I also run and would be happy to take your dog on a run if you’re looking to give them some extra exercise. If you’re looking for a friendly and trustworthy person who will treat your pets kindly and with love, please reach out! Are you going out of town? Working long hours? Having guests visit? Wanting more activity for your fur baby? Just need some extra help with pet care? I’d love to connect with you. I’m a part-time graduate student and have a flexible schedule right now, so I’d be happy to stop by for a walk or visit during the day, or stay with your pet if you’re away! I understand how important routine is to animals, and I am happy to accommodate your feeding, walking or bedtime routine to keep them feeling comfortable and cared for! Send me a message to let me know what your needs are and I’d be happy to discuss with you.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Gladstone
Laurie always does a great job for us. She did two pop in visits for our dogs while we were out of town for the day. Her communication is excellent and she sent us several pictures. We will continue to use her whenever we need someone to check on our fur babies.

Paola has been such a wonderful life saver! She was able to help me last minute, adapt to an off-time schedule, and made sure my pup was taken care of so I had one less thing to worry about while I was at work. I’ve utilized her services multiple times and will definitely continue to ask for her help.

Meghan did a great job taking care of both of our did while we we're out of town! She did all of the necessary things plus she played, loved on and sent us great reports and pictures! 10/10 I would definitely recommend her and use her again next time we go out of town!

Grace does an amazing job with my crew. We have 2 Cane Corso mastiffs (one with high anxiety), a Boston Terrier (hello crazy energy), and 3 cats (one that takes meds and they all eat on a strict schedule). She has done in-home pet sitting for extended trips and also drop in visits as needed. Our animals are always cared for. Our animals trust her and that is huge with us feeling comfortable leaving them. We have never had any concerns with having Grace in our home alone. She is respectful of our house and rules we set. Grace is top notch when it comes to pet sitting and I will always highly recommend her!
Adaline is AMAZING! We’re so happy to have someone we trust to come visit our puppy during the day while we’re gone for work. She not only ensures that our girl gets her potty breaks, but she also provides exceptional care with so much affection and patience with our very energetic pup. We couldn’t be happier!

Kayla was super kind and helped me out last minute. She also was willing to come over and meet the animals while I was there before helping me out. She did show up a little late, which made me nervous since I’m quite a ways away at work. I was hopeful she’d spend the full 30 mins with Tilly to run around the yard and wear her out since she’s just a new pup and is being kenneled all day and give her more time in case she needed to poop, but she did play with her for a short bit.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
