“Stephanie was absolutely wonderful! One of my rescue dogs I adopted had been abused in the past and he is normally very weary of strangers, but he warmed right up to Stephanie! Stephanie also provided a lot of updates and photos which made me feel comfortable leaving them for a couple of days. I will definitely be using Stephanie in the future for our dog sitting needs. ❤️”

“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; Lori is the best! We were out of country and our sitter fell through and Lori jumped in to help at an hour’s notice so that our pup could have care and a familiar, friendly face for the rest of our trip. If you need someone that you can trust implicitly in your home, look no further. I promise your fur baby will thank you for it too! I can’t say enough great things about Lori.”

“Fantastic job, she kept me updated on my cats while I was away. Also when the power went out, she went right over to make sure they were safe and put my mind at ease! Thank you”

“Rio was wonderful with my 2 doodles. One of my dogs is a huge (100 pound) fraidy cat - afraid of everything but Rio showed patience with her and took the time needed for her to warm up. I appreciate her dropping in for a last minute booking. Prompt response time and great communication- Highly recommend!”

“Carolyn was great for drop ins with my shy cat! I was able to book on short notice and Carolyn came over to meet Mitch prior to the visits. She sent pictures and updates while I was away. Would book with Carolyn again.”

“Heather was great with drop in care for our pups. Even got them out for a walk which was great! Prompt communication and great meet and greet. High recommend, will book with her again for our next trip”

About: I’ve grown up with animals since I was five and have experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I’ve helped raise three puppies, so I’m comfortable with training basics, routines, and high-energy care, as well as providing gentle, attentive care for older dogs. I truly love animals and treat every pet like my own. I play volleyball at The university of Central Missouri - down in Warrensburg I have lots of free time to help take care of your babies! Whenever I’m home from break, in KC, I have loads of free time and would love to take care of your pets! I have experience with crating animals, grooming, feeding medicines, etc. I love to walk dogs and get exercise with them! I am comfortable spending the night at others homes and bringing dogs to my house if needed! I do have three dogs and one cat right now!
“Riley does a fantastic job with Cooper. He is always excited to see her. Most people Cooper is stand offish with but instantly is drawn to her. Riley is very good at keeping me informed of everything that is going on. Thank you so much!!”

“Kyle has been a huge help working with our dog who’s got behavioral issues to make sure that not only comforts us but with our own dog. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who’s seeking help with those who need that extra time for your pup to open up.”

“Laura has been amazing! I have booked her a couple times now and she has been a lifesaver! She is great with my fur babies, she is reliable, and always on time! We appreciate her so much!”

About: My passion for animals started ever since I had my first dog when I was around 5 years old. She was a shih tzu and we named her KeKe. Ever since then I knew that I wanted to be around animals as much as possible. Most of my friends have pets and I'm always playing with them. One time my friend's dad had their dog tied up to the tree for days and I spent an hour trying to get the knots out so that we could take him for a walk, he deserved it. I am aiming to become a veterinarian when I finish school but until then, I hope to get as much experience as possible. Between the hours of 9am - 5pm I am at work and then have school right after. I am available before 9 am to check on your pets and available anytime after 5pm to take your pets out or check on them. I am also available on weekends full time! I love to go running/walking so I can always incorporate that with your fur babies! As much as I love animals, I do not have any dogs of my own. I live in an apartment complex, although there is no backyard we do have a fenced area for dogs to run around and I could walk them around the neighborhood
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities through friends, family, and my own pets. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, basic training, and keeping routines consistent. Your pet will be treated like part of my family while you’re away! I maintain a consistent work schedule during the week, but I prioritize making time for the pets I care for. I’m available before and after work for walks, feedings, and check-ins. Your pet will get plenty of attention, playtime, and routine! I treat every pet like my own and prioritize a safe, stress-free environment. I closely follow your instructions for feeding, exercise, and routines to keep things familiar. I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident while you’re away!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 9. I also have grown up with dogs in my family and I even trained the one I have now! My neighbors, family friends, and even friends have asked for my help with walking, feeding, and also bathing their pets. I will be coming home for Winter break with no other job, so i’ll have lots of time to care and play with your pups. Since it is the holiday season, I’ll have to double check with my availability should your pups need to be watched over the holidays. I live in an apartment, so it might be a little difficult to watch your pet over at my place. But if needed, I can make it work, I also have a dog of my own to play with and keep your pet company.
About: I've had my dog for 10 years, and I understand the importance of medicine and regular walks. Play time and nap time are important too! I work Friday-Sunday from 6:30-14:30. Other than this, I am available. Sometimes I have appointments, but the never take very long and that can be discussed later:) I airways keep an eye on my dog! I like to hang out with my dog, play when she wants to, potty breaks every 2ish hours, and she loves the park!
“Megan did a very good job taking care of my cat Tigger while I was gone. She came at the appointed times and fed/watered him and took care of his litter too. I would hire her again and recommend her!”

I would give Shannon 10 stars if I could! She went above and beyond taking care of our girls. She even had a last minute emergency and was still able to complete the booking. She really paid attention to our pets behavior and acted according. She communicated very well and sent lots of pics. I will definitely be using her again in the future!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; Lori is the best! We were out of country and our sitter fell through and Lori jumped in to help at an hour’s notice so that our pup could have care and a familiar, friendly face for the rest of our trip. Casey was great I’ll use her again. The only complaint I have is the Rover app is not user friendly to me. It had me keep going back to do insurance and so many places for each day and hr of the day to specify everything. I’m glad for the service Rover supplies and we need but they need to simplify in this day and age things should be easy not hard going forward. Life is hard enough

Definitely would book Karen again! We reached out to her last-minute and she was very responsive and accommodating and even squeezed a meet-and-greet into her morning for us. During our trip, she was always on time for drop-ins with our pups and sent pictures and updates with each visit. We were so relieved on our trip to know we could rely on her. Thank you so much Karen!

This was the first time I used Rover and Maria did not disappoint! She was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend booking with her! I did 3 drop ins a day while I was out of town and my boys got plenty exercise and she even brushed one of them! If I could give 100 stars I would!

Amanda is an amazing sitter! She went above and beyond for our Luna, sending updates and pics, and even dealt with a crazy windstorm that took down our gazebo! Her care and attention to our home and pup were top-notch. We're so grateful for her! Highly recommend on Rover. 5 stars isn't enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🐾"

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Lake Waukomis with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
