About: I have taken care of all sorts of dogs through the years and find joy in going for walks around the neighborhood and playing and meeting every single dog I see. I work full time, 3 12 hour shifts a week and my other 4 days I love having something to do whether that is going on walks, popping in to make sure dogs have everything they need and having potty breaks. During drop ins or walks I like to follow the owners instructions carefully so that each pet can maintain their normal routines and reduce stress. I make sure each pet has water, any food they need, toys if able, exercise, and attention. With walks I stay very mindful of potential dangers or triggers to avoid any unwanted situations and pay attention to any sins of overheating, exhaustion or discomfort. During drop ins if a pet uses a crate I always make sure it’s locked and checked before leaving as well as leaving the surrounding how I arrived and with locked doors. It’s always fun to send the owner updates and pictures of their pet while away to ensure they are safe and getting the care they need.
“Heather is the best! She’s takes such good care of our girls and sends the best updates. Our puppy lost one of her teeth during her visit and she even got the tooth and set it aside for us which was so thoughtful!”

“We enjoyed using Emily to take care of two cats. She was quick to respond and the cats were happy when we returned from a 10-day trip. She also managed to capture some really lovely photos of them each day, which my children enjoyed checking out. Would definitely recommend!”

About: We have been pet owners all our lives until recently. We have experience looking after dogs and cats. We would love to fill the gap by helping you out with pet sitting needs. Your fur baby will be treated as part of our family! My husband and I work full time, some days from home. My work is just few minutes away so I am able do potty breaks and walk during lunch. Our schedules are flexible and we can adapt to your needs. We currently don't have any pets at the house. Our yard is not fenced but the neighborhood is very dog friendly with a little nature trail for walks.

About: Hi, I'm so glad you're here! I've been dog sitting for roughly four years now, and caring for dogs has become one of my favorite things to do. I love spending time with pups of all ages, sizes, and personalities—from energetic adventure buddies to laid-back cuddle experts. When your dog is with me, they'll get plenty of love, attention, playtime, and personalized care based on their routine and needs. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, so I make it my priority to keep them happy, comfortable, and safe while you're away. I can't wait to meet you and your best friend and give them a home away from home! I’m currently a college student on summer break looking for a new job. I’m free every weekday, at anytime to take care of your pup and give them all the love and attention. I’m an athlete, so an important part of my day is my summer workout and I like to go to the lake on weekends. I enjoy staying active as much as possible so walks will be a priority! When caring for your pet in your home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal as possible. I'll make sure they're fed, exercised, given lots of love and attention, and comfortable in their familiar environment. I also treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. I’ll keep things neat, tidy, and how they were. If it would give you more peace of mind, I'll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout the day.

I also love dogs to do whatever for them to feel safe and sound! Im currently working part time at two jobs and going to college full time. Yet I still make time to care for pets as every pet deserves some love even while their owner is gone. I live in a fourplex in parkville MO with a gated front porch. I do have my parents house in Leavenworth KS with a gated backyard but they do have 2 cats and 2 dogs. If you arnt comfortable with any of those options then I am happy to care for your dog in your home! I am a very flexible person!
“We had an amazing experience with Laura this weekend! She took wonderful care of our dog, Greta, and made sure she was happy and loved while we were away. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about Greta’s well-being. We’re so grateful for her help and wouldn’t hesitate to book her again. Highly recommend!”

About: My passion for animals started ever since I had my first dog when I was around 5 years old. She was a shih tzu and we named her KeKe. Ever since then I knew that I wanted to be around animals as much as possible. Animals are very special than most people realize. I appreciate being in their presence! Between the hours of 9am - 5pm I am at work and then have school right after. I am available before 9 am to check on your pets and available anytime after 5pm to take your pets out or check on them. I am also available on weekends full time! I love to go running/walking so I can always incorporate that with your fur babies! Making sure that your pets have a calm and comfortable environment while you’re away is important. Ensuring that your animals get to experience that is my goal.
About: I’m always the go-to for pet care for my family/friends. I love animals deeply and want them to be taken care of as best as they can be. I have a deep love for animals! I have a full time job but work from home a lot with a lot of flexibility. I recently lost my dog to cancer so I have too much time on my hands in the morning/after work and would love to help others with their dogs until I get another of my own. I would want all of my things/my home to be taken care of when using a pet sitter so I of course would do the same for others.
“Holly was great at communicating with me and was flexible with how to care for my dog while I was gone. She was patient and kind with my spirited dog. I would definitely seek out her services again.”

About: I grew up on a farm, so I’ve always had animals/pets in my life. I’ve owned everything from small dogs to big dogs and cats. I’m a teacher so all pet care will have to be in the evening after school. I typically will finish the school day at 3:30. I own two cats and provide them with safe home environment with plenty of enrichment. I will make sure that your pet is well taken care of and they’ll have a fun time too.
“Abigail is amazing! Our old soul Yorkie (Ellie) and our sweet happy Havanese (Hera), really enjoyed their visits from Abigail!! We really appreciated her check-ins and text messages with updates! It was obvious she truly cared for our girls when we were away for the weekend. We will not hesitate to book Abigail again!”

About: My name is Ryan and I am a 23 year old college student. I’m looking to do what I enjoy and make some extra cash while doing it! If you are looking for someone who is going to care for your dog as if it were their own, I’m the person you want! I am available 7 days a week at any time. I am very punctual and take pride in my work. You can always count on me to give your pet exactly what they need. Those will always be specified in my calendar. I have a large yard and two friendly cats to keep your pup company and active. I have a large dog crate if your dog is crate trained.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Weatherby Lake
I've never left my dogs for an extended amount time. Heather was amazing handling my boys and giving updates and pictures with every visit. I would and absolutely recommend and will be requesting her services in the future! Amazing experience, coming from a apprehensive dog owner.
I would give Shannon 10 stars if I could! She went above and beyond taking care of our girls. She even had a last minute emergency and was still able to complete the booking. She really paid attention to our pets behavior and acted according. She communicated very well and sent lots of pics. I will definitely be using her again in the future!

Casey was great I’ll use her again. The only complaint I have is the Rover app is not user friendly to me. It had me keep going back to do insurance and so many places for each day and hr of the day to specify everything. I’m glad for the service Rover supplies and we need but they need to simplify in this day and age things should be easy not hard going forward. Life is hard enough

Definitely would book Karen again! We reached out to her last-minute and she was very responsive and accommodating and even squeezed a meet-and-greet into her morning for us. During our trip, she was always on time for drop-ins with our pups and sent pictures and updates with each visit. We were so relieved on our trip to know we could rely on her. Thank you so much Karen!

Amanda is an amazing sitter! She went above and beyond for our Luna, sending updates and pics, and even dealt with a crazy windstorm that took down our gazebo! Her care and attention to our home and pup were top-notch. We're so grateful for her! Highly recommend on Rover. 5 stars isn't enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🐾"

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
