About: Recently graduated from Mizzou, I have spent the last 2 years helping to care for our house pets, including two cats and one dog. I worked to feed, walk, and engage with my pets during this period. Prior to this, I lived and cared for many animals back in my hometown: 3 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, 2 parrots, and a turtle. Because of this, I deliver versatile care, and understand that every pet has its own unique needs! I work 2 part time jobs, both in healthcare, where my hours are stacked on certain days of the week. About: I have taken care of all sorts of dogs through the years and find joy in going for walks around the neighborhood and playing and meeting every single dog I see. I work full time, 3 12 hour shifts a week and my other 4 days I love having something to do whether that is going on walks, popping in to make sure dogs have everything they need and having potty breaks. During drop ins or walks I like to follow the owners instructions carefully so that each pet can maintain their normal routines and reduce stress. I make sure each pet has water, any food they need, toys if able, exercise, and attention. With walks I stay very mindful of potential dangers or triggers to avoid any unwanted situations and pay attention to any sins of overheating, exhaustion or discomfort. During drop ins if a pet uses a crate I always make sure it’s locked and checked before leaving as well as leaving the surrounding how I arrived and with locked doors. It’s always fun to send the owner updates and pictures of their pet while away to ensure they are safe and getting the care they need.

“Lori was wonderful with our two dogs. She updated us at least once a day with pictures. We will definitely use her again when the need arises. She has a nice home as well as a nice fenced back yard.”

“Michelle has a big heart for the dogs and spoils them with lots of love and toys. She has 2 adorable dogs of her own. We were happy to know she has a 6ft fence to keep my fence jumper in and safe.
