“Samantha is such a fantastic sitter for our kitty. We come home wondering if he really misses us at all because he has had such a great time hanging out with her! Thank you for the great care and love you give our furry boy!”

“Madeline has a heart on what she’s doing. She took really good care of our babies while we were out for vacation. She gives timely update. She even noticed the rash on our dog’s belly and got us notified right away.”

About: I love getting to know new people and their pets. I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember and they’re a huge part of my life. I’ve worked at an animal hospital for over 4 years and have lots of experience with all kinds of pets! I work full time during the week. I’m available before and after work, and most days on lunch breaks as well. Weekends I have more flexibility. I have an adult dog who enjoys the company of other dogs and would love to go on walks with new friends if they’re a good fit together. I know that some dogs can be shy, so if we need to have a meeting first we can discuss that.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)

About: Hi! My name is Tabatha. I have grown up around all kinds of animals, I have and always had a soft spot for them. In my free time, I spend my time with my australian shepherd, or with my horse. My aussie and I do canine agility, while my horse and I compete in rodeo. I have been around and taken care of a variety of dog breeds including Yorkshire Terrier, Golden Retriever, Boarder Collie, Dachshund, Black Mouth Cur, Blue Heeler, Australian Shepherd… I can read body language extremely well, and understand how to cater to the needs of a dog. I have taught dogs to sit, “touch”, lay down, spin, and shake. I have experience with senior dogs, dogs with anxiety and/or reactivity, etc… I can guarantee you I am one of the most patient, kind, and understanding pet person out there. As of March 2026 I do have school and work till 6pm on the weekdays, however i’m generally available Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri anytime before 9AM and anytime after 6PM. Sat and Sun I am free and flexible (unless stated otherwise). My priority is for dogs to feel safe and comfortable in their environment. For ex., my dog has anxiety. Before I leave my house, I play music on my tv that’s for anxious dogs. All of my dogs always have clean water, and my anxious dog always has his own space and food puzzles. - In-home boarding is only available for those whose dog I am knowledgeable of, and I know will get along with my dog. Please, don’t hesitate to reach out. I would love to answer any of your questions/concerns, or make an accommodation!

“Cheyanne has helped take great care of my boy Tank a handful of times now. Working long shifts makes pet care stressful but it’s nice knowing he’s in good hands during his drop ins with Cheyanne. I definitely recommend and will be continuing to book in the future!”

“WOW! LAURA was amazing! First of all, I booked with a different Rover person who had to cancel last minute and Laura stepped up without hesitation. That took a ton of stress off of me. Second, she was so sweet with my babies and took amazing pictures while we were away which made me feel better while we were gone. She went above and beyond and even printed them out and had them waiting for us when we came home! IT WAS THE SWEETEST TOUCH EVER! I hate to leave my babies at home but when I do I will absolutely get in touch with Laura again! She was the best!”

Pleasant Valley dog parents share their Rover experiences
Billie Jo has been helping me with my dog Willow for a little over a year! She has such an amazing help. She’ll occasionally bring Willow new toys and bones to play with and it’s those small things that mean the most to me. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help me out. Thank you! :)

Adaline is AMAZING! We’re so happy to have someone we trust to come visit our puppy during the day while we’re gone for work. She not only ensures that our girl gets her potty breaks, but she also provides exceptional care with so much affection and patience with our very energetic pup. We couldn’t be happier!

Jawonia was amazing. I recommended her 1000 times over. She was very communicative about our animals while we were outta town for a week. She loved on them a little extra so they didn’t feel so lonely. She took away all worry I had about leaving them behind while we traveled. I definitely will be hiring her in the future when we need help again!!
