“Billie Jo did a great job of taking care of Kitkat! My cat is a little high maintenance when it comes to her water and Billie Jo had no problem with it! Thank you!”

“Great first session with Laurie. You really went out of your way to win my dear girls heart by bringing her a box and trying to engage with her! Thank you so much. Hope you found the $20 cash I left for you. You did a great job for us.”

“This is the first time I have had to leave my cat alone for several days during a business trip. I am so thankful to Rover for connecting with Jeremy! He was absolutely great with my shy cat and by the end of the week he was sending me photos of her on his lap! In the future when I need to travel, I will not hesitate to have Jeremy watch my pet. He was truly fantastic and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Thanks again!”

“Misti took care of my two cats twice a day for two weeks. She did everything I asked and sent extra notes and pics at each visit. She is a great communicator! Misti even got my shy cat, Paris, into a great routine early on and was able to pet her by the end of the two weeks. I called Misti the cat whisperer for her ability to win Paris over. The house was perfect and cats were happy when we returned home. I will definitely call upon Misti for pet care in the future!”

“Laney was great. After telling her we would have limited access to internet or cell phone service she still sent pictures to update us on the visits she was making. It was nice knowing someone who loved animals was coming to spend time with our cat while we were gone. She went above what we expected and will use her again. I highly recommend her if you need someone to watch your fur babies while you are gone.”
“We had a definite need for a reliable sitter who could take our 3 cats into her home, medicate two of them including with injections for insulin and other meds for an extended period of time (nearly two weeks), and Chigorzirim provided that to us. Because of the sensitivity of our cats, we also appreciated that she only accepts one client at a time as she describes. She followed through the schedule that I prepared for when to medicate 2 of our 3 cats as needed, and we appreciated her time on keeping us informed and sent along pictures. We are planning some future travel later this year and would look to her to help us with our cats.”
“Laura was fantastic. She provided daily updates with notes and pictures of our furbabies, which kept us well-informed. While she stayed with our pets, the house was also well-maintained, tidy, and clean. We would definitely book Laura again for future stays with our furbabies.”

“Jenna is a doll. She went above and beyond with my kitties. They love her and I was so thankful she even very proactively dealt with a water leak the moment she arrived! Both kitties got nail trims and lots of snuggles and playtime. Jenna is responsive, thoughtful and was a pleasure to have as a cat and house sitter both!! I will be asking her to return on my next trip!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages for years. I love taking them on walks, playing with them and giving them all the pets they want. My schedule is very open. So I have plenty of time to give your pets the time and care they need. I promise to love them like you do! I am more than happy to come to your home where your dogs and or cats feel the most comfortable. I live in a great neighborhood to take your dogs on long walks.
“Amanda, did such a great job! She made me feel at ease leaving my boys (2 cats) for a week with plenty of updates and pictures. Her descriptions gave a play by play of what my cats were up to during her visits and perfectly captured my cats personalities. Made me feel like she really understood them! One of my boys needs daily eye drops and monitoring of bathrooms habits and she was able to administer the drops and was willing to pay attention to litter deposits! Thank you, Amanda!”

About: I have over 20 years of experience caring for cats and dogs of all sizes, providing reliable feeding, walking, and overnight care. I focus on calm routines, clear communication, and maintaining a safe, secure home environment while owners are away. I focus primarily on overnight house sitting and in-home pet care. My schedule allows me to provide consistent morning and evening routines, regular check-ins, and dependable overnight presence while owners are away. I care for pets in their own home to maintain familiar routines and reduce stress. I follow care instructions closely, keep homes secure, and communicate clearly so owners feel confident their pets and home are well cared for.
About: Hi! I’m Michaela, a certified dog trainer through Animal Behavior College (ABC). I’ve been officially training service and pet dogs for the past two years, though my passion for dog training began when I was just 15 years old. I specialize in pet dogs, and training service dogs for individuals with PTSD, psychiatric disabilities, and medical alert needs, and I also offer basic and advanced obedience training as well as trick training for those who want to have extra fun with their dogs! I love helping people build stronger relationships with their pets whether through structured training or playful bonding. I also enjoy pet sitting and dog walking, making sure every animal feels happy, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. When I’m not training, I love doing dog sports with my own dogs and encouraging others to explore new ways to have fun with their pets, ask me about dog sports if you are interested! I’m also experienced in caring for exotic pets, including reptiles and rodents. Dog training is my full time job! I can fit in quick schedules for dog walking almost anytime of day! And get in training sessions within the week! I’m also very flexible with boarding I have a fully fenced yard and two friendly dogs of my own. If your dog isn’t comfortable around other dogs, no problem at all I can easily keep them separated to ensure everyone feels safe and relaxed. My home is very dog friendly, with plenty of toys, enrichment activities, and space to play. There’s even a creek nearby where I love taking dogs for peaceful walks, and I have agility equipment for those who want to try something new and fun! Whether your dog loves to play, train, or just relax, I make sure each pet feels comfortable, cared for, and happy like they’re on their own little vacation while you’re away.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)
“Stephanie was absolutely wonderful! One of my rescue dogs I adopted had been abused in the past and he is normally very weary of strangers, but he warmed right up to Stephanie! Stephanie also provided a lot of updates and photos which made me feel comfortable leaving them for a couple of days. I will definitely be using Stephanie in the future for our dog sitting needs. ❤️”

“Samantha is such a fantastic sitter for our kitty. We come home wondering if he really misses us at all because he has had such a great time hanging out with her! Thank you for the great care and love you give our furry boy!”

Pleasant Valley cat parents share their Rover experiences
Jawonia was amazing. I recommended her 1000 times over. She was very communicative about our animals while we were outta town for a week. She loved on them a little extra so they didn’t feel so lonely. She took away all worry I had about leaving them behind while we traveled. I definitely will be hiring her in the future when we need help again!!
