“Arrived timely, spent time playing with my cats and sent pics, which always eases my mind when I leave my babies ❤️ easy to communicate with and flexible with time”

About: I grew up on a farm with many types of animals and hard work. I have worked in veterinary clinics as a kennel attendant and now a veterinary assistant for over 10 years. I have experience with dogs, cats, and exotic pets. I'm comfortable caring for elderly and sick pets as well as giving medications. I live and work in the Liberty MO area. I am an early morning person and can do early morning drop in visits and walks before 7 am (including weekends and holidays). I typically get my lunch break between 12-2 pm. I can come and do a drop in visit or do a short walk over my break. Evenings are a possibility but are less flexible and open. I can offer enrichment with treats, playtime and exercise. I like a good cuddle session as well as a hyper wrestling match, or active fetch game. I enjoy being out in God's creation and am open to more nature based walks if you have an active curious pup (like my own dog). I think cats should also be enriched and loved. I like playing games with cats and helping them feel comfortable and spoiled. I have owned a lizard of my own and am not afraid of reptiles or rodents. I think exotic pets need enrichment, entertainment, and love as well.
“This is the first time I have had to leave my cat alone for several days during a business trip. I am so thankful to Rover for connecting with Jeremy! He was absolutely great with my shy cat and by the end of the week he was sending me photos of her on his lap! In the future when I need to travel, I will not hesitate to have Jeremy watch my pet. He was truly fantastic and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Thanks again!”

“Machelle was very responsive and easy to work with. She went out of her way to help us out when our petsitter was suddenly unavailable. Can't say enough about how appreciative we were of her attentiveness to our fur babies.”
“Sara H is great. Walter seems relaxed and would probably be content if Sara took care if him all the time. The pictures she posted were perfect - he looked happy and he often seems concerned around new people so this is a real plus. I will certainly book Walter's care with Sara the net time I need a pet sitter She is Five Stars!”

“Misti was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of our animals. I’ve never felt more at ease leaving my animals with someone. We have peace of mind when out of town that our fur babies will not only have their basics cared for, but loved too!”

“Once again Jenna went above and beyond just looking in on our two cats. Packages and mail (we forgot to have it stopped!) were picked up; pet dishes were washed and ready to go. She let me know a smoke detector battery needed replacement and was emitting the constant beep and scaring the cats. We found a family member to come figure it out after Jenna and a neighbor had tried to fix it for us. Jenna is so dependable and a true animal lover.”

“Erin is the best! I received pictures and updates daily. She went above and beyond my expectations, and I will definitely be requesting her again! My little guy loved her!”

“Heather helped out on short notice for a drop-in visit to let my puppy out and give her a walk. I have used Heather multiple times and she is always dependable. I trust her with the care of my puppy and my cat who needs insulin shots and some snuggles. The house always looks great after she house sits which is fantastic to find after a long trip.”

“Our dogs love their visits from Kyle and we love knowing we have someone we can trust popping by to take care of them. Kyle is a great communicator and really helped us navigate our care needs.”

About: Hi! I’m Michaela, a certified dog trainer through Animal Behavior College (ABC). I’ve been officially training service and pet dogs for the past two years, though my passion for dog training began when I was just 15 years old. I specialize in pet dogs, and training service dogs for individuals with PTSD, psychiatric disabilities, and medical alert needs, and I also offer basic and advanced obedience training as well as trick training for those who want to have extra fun with their dogs! I love helping people build stronger relationships with their pets whether through structured training or playful bonding. I also enjoy pet sitting and dog walking, making sure every animal feels happy, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. When I’m not training, I love doing dog sports with my own dogs and encouraging others to explore new ways to have fun with their pets, ask me about dog sports if you are interested! I’m also experienced in caring for exotic pets, including reptiles and rodents. Dog training is my full time job! I can fit in quick schedules for dog walking almost anytime of day! And get in training sessions within the week! I’m also very flexible with boarding I have a fully fenced yard and two friendly dogs of my own. If your dog isn’t comfortable around other dogs, no problem at all I can easily keep them separated to ensure everyone feels safe and relaxed. My home is very dog friendly, with plenty of toys, enrichment activities, and space to play. There’s even a creek nearby where I love taking dogs for peaceful walks, and I have agility equipment for those who want to try something new and fun! Whether your dog loves to play, train, or just relax, I make sure each pet feels comfortable, cared for, and happy like they’re on their own little vacation while you’re away.
“Our family really appreciated the care and professionalism Olivia provided. Our cats have never been happier, even the scaredy cat! We would definitely welcome her back to our home.”

“Laura has been amazing! I have booked her a couple times now and she has been a lifesaver! She is great with my fur babies, she is reliable, and always on time! We appreciate her so much!”

About: I have had pets all my life from dogs and cats to gerbils, hamsters and fish. Even as a young child I was primarily responsible for most of the routine daily pet care. I'm a trained CNA with applicable caregiving skills. I also have extensive experience as a shelter volunteer having walked the dog and played with them as well as socializing the cats. I'm currently self employed as a home care aide and wish to take care of animals in between assignments or during days off. I do not have any responsibilities that would interfere with me taking care of your fur babies. I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have a yard stake. I live in a townhouse with an open grass backyard. I regularly take my dog to The Liberty, MO Stockdale dog park and can take yours there too if that's your preference. If you wish I can walk your dog as many times per day as you prefer. My neighborhood has paved sidewalks and walking paths that I routinely use to walk my dog daily. I have one cat and one dog and each get along with other cats and dogs very well but should there be any unforeseen issue, I can put your pet in my spare bedroom. I also own a wire dog crate for large dogs. I can crate your pet in your home or my home if you wish me to. I will take care of him or her in whichever way you prefer. I do not crate my dog but I did as a puppy to facilitate his potty training. My dog sleeps with me at night as does my cat sometimes. Both are friendly and well socialized but again, I can put either in a spare room or your pet if necessary. Both my pets are up to date on their vaccinations and they get a monthly pill for flea and tick prevention. I can do everything from long or short walks, taking them outside for potty breaks, administering food or medicine, playtime, etc.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)

About: Animal-lover who started volunteering with rescues over a decade ago. Experienced with dogs, including reactive dogs(I have one of my own), cats, birds, and various other pets. Feel free to share the training commands you'd like to work on with your pet and I will try to work them in where I can during my visit. I will treat your pets like my own(my dog is incredibly loved and spoiled) Currently working freelance so my schedule is flexible. Able to work most visits into my schedule without issue, but if there's a visit that won't work, you'll know as soon as I do so other arrangements can be made Only open to dropping by and house-sitting bookings at the moment because my own dog can be reactive and we currently live with a cat, but I'm a great caretaker and a top choice for my friends when they need a sitter. Responsible, reliable, and focused on giving your pet the best care possible for their needs

Rest assured, your furry companions will receive dedicated care and supervision, as I am always present and ready to meet their needs. The way I care for pets in my home or a client's home depends on the specific service being provided. Here are a few scenarios: In the client's home: Pet Sitting: When providing pet sitting services at a client's home, I make sure to replicate the pet's daily routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding them according to their usual schedule, providing fresh water, cleaning litter boxes, taking dogs for walks, and engaging in playtime or exercise based on their specific needs. I also offer companionship and affection to help reduce any separation anxiety they may experience. Drop-in Visits: During drop-in visits, I visit the client's home at scheduled times to check on their pets. I ensure they have food and water, clean litter boxes, let dogs out for bathroom breaks, and spend quality time with them, offering play and affection. Dog Walking: For dog walking services, I take the dogs on stimulating walks to provide exercise, mental stimulation, and an opportunity for bathroom breaks. I follow any instructions regarding route preferences, leash handling, or specific behavioral considerations. Regardless of the service provided, the well-being, safety, and happiness of the pets are my top priorities. I strive to create a comfortable and nurturing environment, maintain their regular routines, and shower them with love and attention, just as their owners would.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
