“This was our third time leaving our dog with Lona and Alan. She's now spent nearly 20 days in their care over the course of the three trips and I know each day she was taken care of wonderfully. I Would recommend them in a heartbeat!”

“Mackenzie took great care of our 14 week old Vizsla puppy while we were out of town for a week on business. I’m sure he was a handful but she cared for him with such kindness and patience. Bodhi was sad to leave!”

“The best dog sitter in KC! My dog Coco has the best time with Angelica and her dogs. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great dog sitter who's friendly, accommodating, and an overall great experience. You can tell she really cares about you and your dog”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Taylor! We were a bit nervous at first since Steven has only ever stayed with one other person before, but Taylor immediately put us at ease. She was so warm, communicative, and clearly great with dogs. We loved getting daily updates and pictures—it was obvious Steven was having a great time. He looked so happy in every photo, and honestly, a little sad when it was time for him to go! We’re so grateful to have found someone we trust, and we’d absolutely book with Taylor again.”

“Noreen & family work very hard to make my dog comfortable when he stays there. Though he is always nervous when I leave him the pictures she sends assure me that he settles down and is comfortable. Always gets walks even though they also have fenced yard.”

“This was our fist time boarding our dogs. They did great and loved Joseph. He made them feel comfortable right away. They came back happy and tired. Would definitely recommend Joseph.”

“Great experience. We left two dogs overnight. We had an emergency out of state and needed to leave our two dog overnight and most of the next day. Nathen was very accommodating with the last minute request. Our girls had never been left before, but Nathen provided updates and picture to help ease my anxiety, in an already stressful situation. The girls were happy and taken care of. Will recommend Nathen to friends. If needed will use him again.”

“Naji treated our Roxy as her own dog! Roxy loved staying with Naji and her own dogs! She took Roxy outside to get exercise and play ball. She kept us updated with messages and videos while we were away. We will definitely have Naji watch Roxy the next time we go away!”

“Catherine was great! She is super friendly and loving! My doggie had a blast hanging out with her. She keeps you at ease by providing cute picture updates and funtivities that your furry friend is doing. I definitely recommend her she’s great, I’ll definitely be going to her again!”

“Laurie was so welcoming to our Jojo, and although this first visit was somewhat stressful to our girl, Laurie continued to yry to make her comfortable. We're so appreciative of all the communication and helpful ideas for future visits. The pictures helped ease our stress as well. Definitely will be seeing Laurie again!”

“I can’t say enough good things about this family! We felt totally at ease while we were out of town because immediately we knew our dogs were in good hands. We have a basset hound mix and a Great Dane and they handled both with ease! We booked them for 3 additional trips the same day we picked our dogs up from the first stay. I highly recommend them!”

“Bandit was so happy and calm when I picked him up. It was very clear he was comfortable and well taken care of! She took him on several walks and sent many pictures. He was a HAPPY BOY!!”

“Dominic and his team at home took great care of Maddie. She came home worn out from all the playing with the other dogs. They have a great yard for outdoor playtime and plenty of beds all around (and a lap or two).”

“Rachel was amazing! She was very communicative and was graciously flexible with my travel schedule. The dogs loved her and had an amazing time! Will definitely use her again in the future. No concerns whatsoever.”

“My dog took to Sharon immediately. Dogs can always tell if the human is good with pets. Sharon sent a couple pictures and gave me updates, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend her (and her husband).”

“Laura was awesome! Great communication with photo updates which were so appreciated. She made the boarding experience worry free, answered all of my questions and I felt assured my little Charlie was safe and taken care of. Thank you Laura!!”

“Robin is a gem. I'm pretty sure our cat, toby, was sorry to see us come home because Robin spoiled him. Seriously, she took the extra steps to ensure that Toby was safe and comfortable while we were away. She played with him and brought special treats from home. She made sure his litter box was cleaned daily and his water was fresh. She updated us daily with photos. I highly recommend Robin and I know we will be using her again.”

“Billie Jo was very responsive to all communications and did everything I asked for my two cats while I was gone for 8 days. One of my cats is shy with strangers, so we had an alternate plan for her feedings if she wouldn't come downstairs to eat. After a few days she relaxed enough to come down and eat along with the other cat. My cats didn't act stressed at all when we came home, which is always a great sign.”

“Machelle was very responsive and easy to work with. She went out of her way to help us out when our petsitter was suddenly unavailable. Can't say enough about how appreciative we were of her attentiveness to our fur babies.”
“This is the first time I have had to leave my cat alone for several days during a business trip. I am so thankful to Rover for connecting with Jeremy! He was absolutely great with my shy cat and by the end of the week he was sending me photos of her on his lap! In the future when I need to travel, I will not hesitate to have Jeremy watch my pet. He was truly fantastic and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Thanks again!”

“Thank you, Amanda, for your wonderful care of my kitties! Great communication and lots of fun photos on every visit! Thanks for braving the snowstorm to care for my fur babies! Appreciate you very much!”

“Sara did a great job taking care of our two cats during our traveling days. She did everything we asked and kept us updated. Sent us also pictures of them. I highly recommend her.”

“Jenna is a doll. She went above and beyond with my kitties. They love her and I was so thankful she even very proactively dealt with a water leak the moment she arrived! Both kitties got nail trims and lots of snuggles and playtime. Jenna is responsive, thoughtful and was a pleasure to have as a cat and house sitter both!! I will be asking her to return on my next trip!”

“Emma stayed with my cat Patrick for a week while I was in another state for work. Patrick needs some special attention and takes daily medication. She did a great job making sure he was taking care of and comfortable! Additionally, she communicated with me well and made sure to send me some pictures every day!”

“Misti took care of my two cats twice a day for two weeks. She did everything I asked and sent extra notes and pics at each visit. She is a great communicator! Misti even got my shy cat, Paris, into a great routine early on and was able to pet her by the end of the two weeks. I called Misti the cat whisperer for her ability to win Paris over. The house was perfect and cats were happy when we returned home. I will definitely call upon Misti for pet care in the future!”

About: Hi! I’m Michaela, a certified dog trainer through Animal Behavior College (ABC). I’ve been officially training service and pet dogs for the past two years, though my passion for dog training began when I was just 15 years old. I specialize in pet dogs, and training service dogs for individuals with PTSD, psychiatric disabilities, and medical alert needs, and I also offer basic and advanced obedience training as well as trick training for those who want to have extra fun with their dogs! I love helping people build stronger relationships with their pets whether through structured training or playful bonding. I also enjoy pet sitting and dog walking, making sure every animal feels happy, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. When I’m not training, I love doing dog sports with my own dogs and encouraging others to explore new ways to have fun with their pets, ask me about dog sports if you are interested! I’m also experienced in caring for exotic pets, including reptiles and rodents. Dog training is my full time job! I can fit in quick schedules for dog walking almost anytime of day! And get in training sessions within the week! I’m also very flexible with boarding I have a fully fenced yard and two friendly dogs of my own. If your dog isn’t comfortable around other dogs, no problem at all I can easily keep them separated to ensure everyone feels safe and relaxed. My home is very dog friendly, with plenty of toys, enrichment activities, and space to play. There’s even a creek nearby where I love taking dogs for peaceful walks, and I have agility equipment for those who want to try something new and fun! Whether your dog loves to play, train, or just relax, I make sure each pet feels comfortable, cared for, and happy like they’re on their own little vacation while you’re away.

“She is very reliable and communicative when she watched my 2 dogs for the 4th of July weekend. I am very appreciative to have found her and definitely recommend her to anyone needing a great dog sitter. Thank you Hannah!”

“Our family really appreciated the care and professionalism Olivia provided. Our cats have never been happier, even the scaredy cat! We would definitely welcome her back to our home.”

“Kyle was great. Ella is an insulin dependent diabetic and he reliably made visits to time her dosing appropriately. He was also available on short notice which really helped me out. Many thanks Kyle!”

“Lara was great! She came to my home and checked in on my babies while I was on vacation. I received an update with pictures that I really appreciated. I would highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)

The way I care for pets in my home or a client's home depends on the specific service being provided. Here are a few scenarios: In the client's home: Pet Sitting: When providing pet sitting services at a client's home, I make sure to replicate the pet's daily routine as closely as possible. “Nathan was great! Quick to respond and took our little guy for daycare on VERY short notice. No communication issues and we would definitely trust him to pet sit for us again.”

About: I have had pets all my life from dogs and cats to gerbils, hamsters and fish. Even as a young child I was primarily responsible for most of the routine daily pet care. I'm a trained CNA with applicable caregiving skills. I also have extensive experience as a shelter volunteer having walked the dog and played with them as well as socializing the cats. I'm currently self employed as a home care aide and wish to take care of animals in between assignments or during days off. I do not have any responsibilities that would interfere with me taking care of your fur babies. I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have a yard stake. I live in a townhouse with an open grass backyard. I regularly take my dog to The Liberty, MO Stockdale dog park and can take yours there too if that's your preference. If you wish I can walk your dog as many times per day as you prefer. My neighborhood has paved sidewalks and walking paths that I routinely use to walk my dog daily. I have one cat and one dog and each get along with other cats and dogs very well but should there be any unforeseen issue, I can put your pet in my spare bedroom. I also own a wire dog crate for large dogs. I can crate your pet in your home or my home if you wish me to. I will take care of him or her in whichever way you prefer. I do not crate my dog but I did as a puppy to facilitate his potty training. My dog sleeps with me at night as does my cat sometimes. Both are friendly and well socialized but again, I can put either in a spare room or your pet if necessary. Both my pets are up to date on their vaccinations and they get a monthly pill for flea and tick prevention. I can do everything from long or short walks, taking them outside for potty breaks, administering food or medicine, playtime, etc.

“Pumba had a great time! It was so nice to have someone to watch our puppy while we played in K.C. We used Nicole for two days and Pumba was eager to go back and see her on the second day. She is definitely a dog lover!”
“Max had a good time at Brent’s house. It was his first time there and he seemed to really connect! Brent sent pictures throughout the day and Max had a good time. Will definitely take him there again!”

“My husband and I felt so comfortable leaving our pup with Rocio! She provided tons of pictures and communicates throughout the day if needed. Will definitely be rebooking in the near future. Thanks again. :)”

About: I’ve had yorkie’s, dobie’s, lab’s, shepherd’s and schnauzer’s. My little Stevie passed away in April after 13 years together. She can’t be replaced so I’m looking to fill the void by caring for others while my heart mends. I have a lot of free time without a set schedule so there is always time to snuggle and play and go for walks together. I have a 4’ tall fenced yard with neighbors that have dogs too. I stay outside with the dogs and do not leave them alone. Dogs will have the run of my house and are allowed on the furniture and the beds too.
About: My mom has been a trusted Rover sitter for several years now, so I grew up around this — it’s kind of in the blood. I’ve personally owned and cared for dogs, cats, birds, turtles, you name it, so I’m comfortable with just about any animal you bring my way. I have a large fenced backyard, a clean and pet-friendly home, and a very playful environment. Every stay includes treats, toys, and whatever adventures we can get into. I also have three dogs of my own — a Beagle, a Chihuahua, and a Shar-Pei — so your pet will always have company and will feel right at home within minutes. Your pet will be in good hands — I take it seriously and genuinely enjoy it. I have one of my own that’s stays in a consistent schedule and never forgotten or goes without attention (constant potty breaks included) , have all the free time in the word and have years on years of experience with all pets massive and small obedient or not, your pet will be looked after enjoy the time an my little fur baby loves to keep them company wherever they decide to adventure I have a big gated backyard plenty but enough for multiple dogs to do their own thing including my own free range to sleep jump and lay on furniture including beds and free range to the entire house and back yard,Very used to medicating if needed, crating, training, all an etc whatever special treatment they may need I’ve delt with it all and nothing to difficult to stay or keep up on if needed

About: While this is my start of professional dog sitting, I’ve been watching family and friends’ pets for many years. I even fostered a dog with behavioral issues a couple of years ago. My dog is my whole world and any pet in my care gets the same attention. I WFH most days, going into the office for a half a day every Wednesday and 3 full days at the beginning of the month. My job doesn’t require me to be glued to my computer so I can be very flexible with my schedule most days. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space to runaround. For wet or cold days, I have a mostly empty finished basement for playing. For dogs that want daily walks, I live in a safe neighborhood where I walk my own dog multiple times a day.
About: I’ve had dogs from a young age. Staying with me, they will get attention, love, play time and cuddles. They will also get to play with my dog Lexi. I work from home full time so I’m always here. I’m able to go outside and play with your pups or give them extra attention. I have a fenced in yard with locks on my gates. I have a doggie door and the back door is always open. I have a 5 year old pup that is very calming and caring. She has been great with other dogs. She is very nurturing and always makes sure those in her space are safe. I have a couple of stories I can provide about her. I am very hands on and constantly checking on my girl and will do the same for your furbaby. Safety is very important to me, not only for your furbaby but for myself and my furbaby as well.

“She is amazing and my puppy loves to see her!! She is ready to watch your pup and knows when your in a hurry to get to your next stop. If you want your pup to get the best care she is excellent!!!”

“Kamila has been taking my Goldendoodle on walks while I am at work and has been so amazing! She communicates very well with me and has been so flexible with my nursing schedule. I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone!!”

“Billie Jo is amazing! We have a temperamental rescue and she was fantastic with him. Knew exactly how to handle him and when not to push. It made me feel at ease knowing our pup was taken care of while we weren’t home.”

“Energetic, excellent with Russell, she knew exactely how to deal with weather conditions, (too hot, humid), to ensure Russell’s comfort! She is an absolute gem. Highly recommend. A great BIG THANK YOU!”

About: I had worked for a petting sitting company for over 6 years. I have taken care of a number of dogs and cats over the years (even the occasional gerbil!) My schedule is pretty flexible, I am always willing to figure out the best schedule to help provide the best quality care to your furry little family member while you're gone. For dogs, minimum of three visits a day if you're on vacation (morning, afternoon, and night). Cats are normally 1 visit a day but in some cases of medical needs can go up to 2.

About: I grew up on a farm with many types of animals and hard work. I have worked in veterinary clinics as a kennel attendant and now a veterinary assistant for over 10 years. I have experience with dogs, cats, and exotic pets. I'm comfortable caring for elderly and sick pets as well as giving medications. I live and work in the Liberty MO area. I am an early morning person and can do early morning drop in visits and walks before 7 am (including weekends and holidays). I typically get my lunch break between 12-2 pm. I can come and do a drop in visit or do a short walk over my break. Evenings are a possibility but are less flexible and open. I can offer enrichment with treats, playtime and exercise. I like a good cuddle session as well as a hyper wrestling match, or active fetch game. I enjoy being out in God's creation and am open to more nature based walks if you have an active curious pup (like my own dog). I think cats should also be enriched and loved. I like playing games with cats and helping them feel comfortable and spoiled. I have owned a lizard of my own and am not afraid of reptiles or rodents. I think exotic pets need enrichment, entertainment, and love as well.
“Abigail was simply amazing with the dogs! She was very good with them, send frequent updates when she walked them, including pictures! You could see the happiness in their faces, and that they were enjoying their time with Abigail. It was a huge relief to know that they were being taken care of when I couldn't be there for them. I would recommend Abigail to anyone!”

“I highly recommend this person as a dog walker. She is very responsible, punctual, and caring with my dogs. I trust her completely, and she always makes sure my dogs are safe and happy. I am very grateful for her help and dedication. Thank you Stephanie 🩷🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

I am used to dealing with high anxiety dogs and have experience with medically needy as well. I am happy to work with you on your pets needs, and make sure we are a good fit. I love to walk and play outside, but I’m also happy to snuggle up on the couch. Whatever your pet needs, we can make it work! About: I have loved and owned animals as long as I can remember. I was raised with dogs, and other small animals! My daughter and I lost our Ollie in August 2022 at 4 years old to lung cancer and would love to care for your pet until we are ready for our next family member. I am comfortable taking care of pets of any age. I can provide food and water bowls, blankets, dog beds, stuffed toys, and I have a medium size kennel. All you need to bring is food, treats, leash/harness and any special comfort items. My daughter loves to go outside every chance she gets so they will have a lot of outside time when the weather permits. They will be allowed to roam the house as they want and are allowed on furniture – like I said- spoiled. I love to send pictures while you are gone to share their adventures while they are here. I do work for the school district 11am-1:30pm but I will be around a majority of the time to play and take care of your family member while they are here. Any drop offs and pick ups will need to be before 9am or after 2:30pm I have a fenced in yard – it is a short fence so fence jumpers are probably not the best fit for me. We can crate them when we are gone if needed and will do our best to stick to their regular routine.
About: I've been around animals my entire life and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I grew up with dogs and have years of hands-on experience caring for animals of different personalities and needs. Currently, I have a large, energetic dog and a bunny of my own, so I'm comfortable caring for both dogs and small animals. I also previously volunteered as a foster for a local humane society, where I cared for dogs as they adjusted to new environments and prepared for their forever homes. That experience taught me patience, how to read animal body language, and how to help pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm companion, I'll make sure they receive the same love, attention, and care that I give my own pets. My goal is to provide a safe, fun, and stress-free experience while you're away, giving you peace of mind that your furry family member is in caring hands. I am currently on summer break so my schedule is pretty flexible. After summers I am free for drop ins in the morning and after school, and weekends! I have worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I look forward to loving your pup like my own for a short time! I will send updates and pictures while you are away!

“Laura was awesome! Great communication with photo updates which were so appreciated. She made the boarding experience worry free, answered all of my questions and I felt assured my little Charlie was safe and taken care of. Thank you Laura!!”

“This was my first time using Rover and had a great experience with Sharon and Glen. They took good care of Razzy, provided regular photos and updates and responded quickly to all of my questions. Will book with them again in the future.”

“If my dog Lily could leave a review, she'd say she has a blast. She's happy in every picture I get, and she's nice and exhausted when I pick her up. I will continue to hire John and Rachael in the future.”
