“Kamila has been taking my Goldendoodle on walks while I am at work and has been so amazing! She communicates very well with me and has been so flexible with my nursing schedule. I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone!!”

“Energetic, excellent with Russell, she knew exactely how to deal with weather conditions, (too hot, humid), to ensure Russell’s comfort! She is an absolute gem. Highly recommend. A great BIG THANK YOU!”

About: I had worked for a petting sitting company for over 6 years. I have taken care of a number of dogs and cats over the years (even the occasional gerbil!) My schedule is pretty flexible, I am always willing to figure out the best schedule to help provide the best quality care to your furry little family member while you're gone. For dogs, minimum of three visits a day if you're on vacation (morning, afternoon, and night). Cats are normally 1 visit a day but in some cases of medical needs can go up to 2.

About: I grew up on a farm with many types of animals and hard work. I have worked in veterinary clinics as a kennel attendant and now a veterinary assistant for over 10 years. I have experience with dogs, cats, and exotic pets. I'm comfortable caring for elderly and sick pets as well as giving medications. I live and work in the Liberty MO area. I am an early morning person and can do early morning drop in visits and walks before 7 am (including weekends and holidays). I typically get my lunch break between 12-2 pm. I can come and do a drop in visit or do a short walk over my break. Evenings are a possibility but are less flexible and open. I can offer enrichment with treats, playtime and exercise. I like a good cuddle session as well as a hyper wrestling match, or active fetch game. I enjoy being out in God's creation and am open to more nature based walks if you have an active curious pup (like my own dog). I think cats should also be enriched and loved. I like playing games with cats and helping them feel comfortable and spoiled. I have owned a lizard of my own and am not afraid of reptiles or rodents. I think exotic pets need enrichment, entertainment, and love as well.
“Abigail was simply amazing with the dogs! She was very good with them, send frequent updates when she walked them, including pictures! You could see the happiness in their faces, and that they were enjoying their time with Abigail. It was a huge relief to know that they were being taken care of when I couldn't be there for them. I would recommend Abigail to anyone!”

“Stephanie was wonderful! She was always on time, respectful of our home, and great with our older dog. Will definitely request her to help us out in the future!”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)
About: I have had pets all my life from dogs and cats to gerbils, hamsters and fish. Even as a young child I was primarily responsible for most of the routine daily pet care. I'm a trained CNA with applicable caregiving skills. I also have extensive experience as a shelter volunteer having walked the dog and played with them as well as socializing the cats. I'm currently self employed as a home care aide and wish to take care of animals in between assignments or during days off. I do not have any responsibilities that would interfere with me taking care of your fur babies. I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have a yard stake. I live in a townhouse with an open grass backyard. I regularly take my dog to The Liberty, MO Stockdale dog park and can take yours there too if that's your preference. If you wish I can walk your dog as many times per day as you prefer. My neighborhood has paved sidewalks and walking paths that I routinely use to walk my dog daily. I have one cat and one dog and each get along with other cats and dogs very well but should there be any unforeseen issue, I can put your pet in my spare bedroom. I also own a wire dog crate for large dogs. I can crate your pet in your home or my home if you wish me to. I will take care of him or her in whichever way you prefer. I do not crate my dog but I did as a puppy to facilitate his potty training. My dog sleeps with me at night as does my cat sometimes. Both are friendly and well socialized but again, I can put either in a spare room or your pet if necessary. Both my pets are up to date on their vaccinations and they get a monthly pill for flea and tick prevention. I can do everything from long or short walks, taking them outside for potty breaks, administering food or medicine, playtime, etc.
“My dogs are in love! They can’t get out the door fast enough when Michaela pulls into the drive. They come home exhausted!! Michaela is personable and flexible, I appreciate her.”

About: Throughout my life I have had many pets and also took care of my livestock on my childhood farm. Taking care of animals is a passion of mine and I would love to share that with some more furry friends! I am currently a server at a restaurant in the area so my schedule varies! I am very willing to plan accordingly to make your pets needs a priority! I live in an apartment, so taking care of pets in the owners home is ideal! I am a very trustworthy individual that wants to make your life easier and your pets more enjoyable!

About: Animal-lover who started volunteering with rescues over a decade ago. Experienced with dogs, including reactive dogs(I have one of my own), cats, birds, and various other pets. Feel free to share the training commands you'd like to work on with your pet and I will try to work them in where I can during my visit. I will treat your pets like my own(my dog is incredibly loved and spoiled) Currently working freelance so my schedule is flexible. Able to work most visits into my schedule without issue, but if there's a visit that won't work, you'll know as soon as I do so other arrangements can be made Only open to dropping by and house-sitting bookings at the moment because my own dog can be reactive and we currently live with a cat, but I'm a great caretaker and a top choice for my friends when they need a sitter. Responsible, reliable, and focused on giving your pet the best care possible for their needs
“Kat was amazing. My girl is scared being normally a country dog moving to the city. Kat was patient and kind with her. Ms Lagertha just adores her. Kat is a wealth of knowledge and provided me with some tips and tricks to help. I would recommend her a 1000%.”

About: I am a nurturer and a lover. I love all animals and know how hard it is to leave them. I will never be a replacement for you, but know it is important to have someone to love on your fur babies when you have to be away. I am used to dealing with high anxiety dogs and have experience with medically needy as well. I am happy to work with you on your pets needs, and make sure we are a good fit. I love to walk and play outside, but I’m also happy to snuggle up on the couch. Whatever your pet needs, we can make it work! I am used to following detailed plans, routines and instructions to make sure your absence is as easy as possible on your fur kids!
About: I have loved and owned animals as long as I can remember. I was raised with dogs, and other small animals! My daughter and I lost our Ollie in August 2022 at 4 years old to lung cancer and would love to care for your pet until we are ready for our next family member. I am comfortable taking care of pets of any age. I can provide food and water bowls, blankets, dog beds, stuffed toys, and I have a medium size kennel. All you need to bring is food, treats, leash/harness and any special comfort items. My daughter loves to go outside every chance she gets so they will have a lot of outside time when the weather permits. They will be allowed to roam the house as they want and are allowed on furniture – like I said- spoiled. I love to send pictures while you are gone to share their adventures while they are here. I do work for the school district 11am-1:30pm but I will be around a majority of the time to play and take care of your family member while they are here. Any drop offs and pick ups will need to be before 9am or after 2:30pm I have a fenced in yard – it is a short fence so fence jumpers are probably not the best fit for me. We can crate them when we are gone if needed and will do our best to stick to their regular routine.
About: I've been around animals my entire life and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I grew up with dogs and have years of hands-on experience caring for animals of different personalities and needs. Currently, I have a large, energetic dog and a bunny of my own, so I'm comfortable caring for both dogs and small animals. I also previously volunteered as a foster for a local humane society, where I cared for dogs as they adjusted to new environments and prepared for their forever homes. That experience taught me patience, how to read animal body language, and how to help pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm companion, I'll make sure they receive the same love, attention, and care that I give my own pets. My goal is to provide a safe, fun, and stress-free experience while you're away, giving you peace of mind that your furry family member is in caring hands. I am currently on summer break so my schedule is pretty flexible. After summers I am free for drop ins in the morning and after school, and weekends! I have worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I look forward to loving your pup like my own for a short time! I will send updates and pictures while you are away!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Glenaire
Kierra is a FANTASTIC walker. She accommodated last minute booking, was polite and so easy to talk to. She sent updates and brought us back a happy but tired puppy. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for help with their dog and I will request her help in the future. Thank you Kierra!

If you’re looking at reviews on who to book with, stop scrolling and book with Jenna. Jenna was great to communicate with and went above my expectations. I could tell Jenna really cared about my dog and his needs. I will definitely be rebooking with her in the future! I am beyond appreciative of her services.

I don’t know what I would do without Kaylee! When my spouse is traveling she saves me… I am chronically ill and not able to give our Golden-doodle the exercise she needs. Kaylee lives nearby and she is always reliable, personable and flexible. SO GRATEFUL. Wish I could afford a more generous tip!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
