“Love having Jessica over to walk my pup. She's so good with animals and you can see how much see loves them. Such a comfort having her walk my sweet pup during the day”

“Abigail was simply amazing with the dogs! She was very good with them, send frequent updates when she walked them, including pictures! You could see the happiness in their faces, and that they were enjoying their time with Abigail. It was a huge relief to know that they were being taken care of when I couldn't be there for them. I would recommend Abigail to anyone!”

“Theresa has been absolutely amazing! She is so kind and adaptable to my dog and his various levels of chaos for his twice weekly walks. She is punctual, spends an adequate amount of time with him, and always very loving. She has been the perfect addition to his routine. I get lots of photos and she lets me know how he did each time she picks him up. I am excited to continue working with her while I am still in school.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and love them more than people so let me put all my dog-loving energy into spoiling yours! I work in education so am off during summer break (all of June through mid-July) and available to meet your dogs needs whether it’s a puppy working on training or a senior who needs to take it slow :) I work full time in education so have long break availability (winter and summer break). During the school year, I am mostly only available on weekends but can be flexible with some evenings during the week. Just let me know what you need! I will be respectful of your space when in your home. I can come in and out or sit and stay awhile to keep your pup company.
About: I have loved and owned animals as long as I can remember. I was raised with dogs, and other small animals! My daughter and I lost our Ollie in August 2022 at 4 years old to lung cancer and would love to care for your pet until we are ready for our next family member. I am comfortable taking care of pets of any age. I can provide food and water bowls, blankets, dog beds, stuffed toys, and I have a medium size kennel. All you need to bring is food, treats, leash/harness and any special comfort items. My daughter loves to go outside every chance she gets so they will have a lot of outside time when the weather permits. They will be allowed to roam the house as they want and are allowed on furniture – like I said- spoiled. I love to send pictures while you are gone to share their adventures while they are here. I work from home so I will be around a majority of the time to play and take care of your family member while they are here. I have a fenced in yard – it is a short fence so fence jumpers are probably not the best fit for me. We can crate them when we are gone if needed and will do our best to stick to their regular routine.
About: From a young age, I have always loved animals, especially dogs. Growing up, I was responsible for caring for our family dogs, and I also helped my grandparents with their farm dogs (who could get a little crazy! Trust me, I do not shy away when a furry friend is excited to see me!). In college, I adopted my own dog, Blue. She required a lot of energy and attention from the start, which helped me develop many of the skills I use today. Whether your pup is energetic, curious, anxious, or somewhere in between, I am confident I can provide a safe and comfortable environment for them. I understand how much we love our four-legged family members, which is why I always make them a top priority while you’re away on vacation, at work, or running errands. I enjoy sending photos, video updates, and check-ins to ensure clear and consistent communication. Reach out if you are looking for a sitter or would like to learn more about my experience! I work full-time in marketing, but my job offers a flexible schedule. Whether I need to work remotely for a week or step away mid-day, I can make it happen without any trouble. I also rarely have back-to-back meetings, which allows me to take breaks from work and focus my attention on your pup! Unfortunately, my dog Blue isn't a great host (she’s not a fan of other dogs), so I won’t be able to care for your pet in my home. However, I am happy to travel to your home for check-ins. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing fetch or tug, treating them to a ride to get a pup cup, and of course, cuddling. I also like to meet your furry friend before the dog-sitting dates so they can become familiar with me, and so I can learn more about their routine, preferences, and what makes them happiest!
“Alyssa was the first person I contacted when I came to Kansas City. She was immediately available and arranged to meet my dog Two Bit, who loved her. She took great care of him and kept me notified of what was happening. I have already arranged a second session and will continue to use her services.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and currently have two of my own, so caring for dogs isn’t something I “fit in”—it’s already built into my daily routine. My schedule is structured around their needs, including multiple long walks each day, consistent feeding times, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Because I live this every day, I understand how important routine, exercise, and a calm environment are for dogs. I’m especially attentive to energy levels, behavior changes, and making sure each dog gets the right balance of activity and rest. What sets me apart is the level of consistency and care I provide—your dog won’t just be watched, they’ll be integrated into a structured, active, and attentive environment. Whether it’s walks or boarding, I treat every dog like my own and make sure they feel comfortable, exercised, and well cared for. I work full-time with a mix of work-from-home and in-office days. On days I’m home, your dog will have consistent attention and regular breaks throughout the day. When I’m in the office, I come home over lunch to let dogs out and check in. I primarily offer boarding on weekends but am open to weeknight stays as well, depending on your dog’s needs. Your dog will be cared for like part of the family while staying in my home. I have two playful, friendly dogs who enjoy making new friends and can help keep your pup entertained and socialized. I focus on maintaining routines, providing regular walks and potty breaks, and making sure every dog gets the attention, exercise, and comfort they need to feel at home.
About: Hi!! My name is Alyssa, and I’m a dedicated and compassionate pet sitter in the Kansas City area! I have experience working with animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. I’m very attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and any specific needs your pet may have. I also have hands-on experience caring for my diabetic cat, including administering insulin injections and monitoring routines. Because of this, I’m comfortable supporting pets with medical needs and understand the importance of consistency, timing, and gentle handling. Outside of pet sitting, I work in the counseling field supporting children and families, which has strengthened my patience, responsibility, and ability to stay calm in all situations, these skills I bring into caring for your pets as well. My goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable, loved, and secure while you’re away and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. I am getting my master’s, so I have some evening classes, but I am still able to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting during weekdays and weekends. Because of my schedule, I’m able to prioritize your pet’s routine, including feeding times, walks, play, and any medical needs like medications or insulin injections. I do my best to be reliable, on-time, and responsive to messages. I prioritize safety, structure, and a calm environment for every pet I care for. I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, medications, and any specific instructions you provide. I have experience administering medications, including insulin injections, and understand the importance of consistency and careful monitoring. In your home, I am respectful of your space and ensure your pet feels comfortable and secure. I pay close attention to behavior and body language, especially for anxious or shy pets, and adjust my approach to meet their needs. My goal is to create a safe, low-stress environment where your pet feels cared for and you feel confident they’re in good hands.
About: I care for a mini golden doodle for one year since a puppy now I care for a calico cat that’s one years old thanks. I work for KCFD and have some much extra time and would love to take care of your animals I work two days on two days off every other weekend I love playing around the house with the dogs and love going on runs and walks being outside when the weather is nice is everything

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)
About: I have 3 dogs of my own and have been caring for dogs for over 10 years. I have experience at a dog boarding/daycare facility as well as boarding in my own home. I am currently unavailable on weekends but, I can care for your fur babies during the week before and after work! Monday-Friday 6a-8a and 2:30p-9p I do walks and drop in visits. Please let me know if I can bring treats! (and any allergies) I am comfortable walking 2-3 dogs at a time if you are a multi-dog household. If boarding, I have a fenced in back yard and a dog door that I open/close as needed. I have 3 dogs to keep yours company and to play with for their stay.
“Kyle has been great! He has great energy and our pups love him. He has great communication. He's punctual, he's flexible, and he has pockets full of treats. He has even been working with our baby to stop her from pulling on walks. I am so happy to have found him.”

About: IM NEW HERE obviously, I grew up with dogs, cats, fish, birds, snakes and even turtles. There's never been a point in my life I've not had pets in some iteration. My family is full of vet techs and animal lovers. I know pet care and live it myself everyday. I have also rescued and raised birds and possums...yes possums. I am fully comfortable with medication needs or special needs animals. I know entrusting someone with your babies can be a daunting process, but rest assured I will love them too. Thankyou for reading my profile. Im self employed, a professional photographer and union actress. I care for our babies full time and have the time to care for yours too. We have 7 pets of our own and have fenced in property as well as screened in porch for our cats so they can enjoy the outdoors while remaining safe inside.
About: I grew up in a household where animals were treated like family, and caring for pets has been part of my life since I was 6 years old. Now at 31, I bring years of experience, patience, and genuine love for animals into every pet I care for. I’m comfortable and confident caring for both dogs and cats of all personalities, whether they’re playful, shy, energetic, or more relaxed. I enjoy learning each pet’s routine and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. That can include walks, playtime, feeding schedules, litter care, cuddles, or just providing calm companionship. My goal is always to give pet parents peace of mind knowing their pets are in caring, responsible hands. I treat every animal like my own and make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I’m currently working full time, but I’m flexible. Each situation is different so feel free to ask anything you need to know before booking with me. Although each home is different, I am huge on your little one feeling secured and comfortable whether I’m just dropping in or walking them for fresh air.

Wow! Derek is great. My boys, an exuberant Cardigan Welsh Corgi and a reserved Aussie foster, both enjoyed their walks with him. I can recommend Derek without reservation. He is very professional and easy to work with. Most importantly, he has a great way with dogs. You can trust Derek with your cherished companion.
Abigail was simply amazing with the dogs! She was very good with them, send frequent updates when she walked them, including pictures! You could see the happiness in their faces, and that they were enjoying their time with Abigail. It was a huge relief to know that they were being taken care of when I couldn't be there for them. I would recommend Abigail to anyone!
