About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)

About: I have taken care of all sorts of dogs through the years and find joy in going for walks around the neighborhood and playing and meeting every single dog I see. I work full time, 3 12 hour shifts a week and my other 4 days I love having something to do whether that is going on walks, popping in to make sure dogs have everything they need and having potty breaks. During drop ins or walks I like to follow the owners instructions carefully so that each pet can maintain their normal routines and reduce stress. I make sure each pet has water, any food they need, toys if able, exercise, and attention. With walks I stay very mindful of potential dangers or triggers to avoid any unwanted situations and pay attention to any sins of overheating, exhaustion or discomfort. During drop ins if a pet uses a crate I always make sure it’s locked and checked before leaving as well as leaving the surrounding how I arrived and with locked doors. It’s always fun to send the owner updates and pictures of their pet while away to ensure they are safe and getting the care they need.

About: I have never lived a day my 34 years without at least one pet to my name, usually dogs and cats. I have taken care of dogs and cats through every stage of life -- from delivering puppies to training competitive hunting dogs and providing palliative care for aging pets. I have a medical background and am comfortable with basic medical care. I work at home and am generally home the entire day. I have total flexibility over my schedule so it's easy for me to adjust to last-minute changes. I live in a spacious one-bedroom apartment in a very animal-friendly complex with plenty of residential streets and parks for long walks and fun. You can trust me to not only care for your pet but to respect the boundaries you set forth in regards to your pet's care.

About: I have had pets all my life from dogs and cats to gerbils, hamsters and fish. Even as a young child I was primarily responsible for most of the routine daily pet care. I'm a trained CNA with applicable caregiving skills. I also have extensive experience as a shelter volunteer having walked the dog and played with them as well as socializing the cats. I'm currently self employed as a home care aide and wish to take care of animals in between assignments or during days off. I do not have any responsibilities that would interfere with me taking care of your fur babies. I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have a yard stake. I live in a townhouse with an open grass backyard. I regularly take my dog to The Liberty, MO Stockdale dog park and can take yours there too if that's your preference. If you wish I can walk your dog as many times per day as you prefer. My neighborhood has paved sidewalks and walking paths that I routinely use to walk my dog daily. I have one cat and one dog and each get along with other cats and dogs very well but should there be any unforeseen issue, I can put your pet in my spare bedroom. I also own a wire dog crate for large dogs. I can crate your pet in your home or my home if you wish me to. I will take care of him or her in whichever way you prefer. I do not crate my dog but I did as a puppy to facilitate his potty training. My dog sleeps with me at night as does my cat sometimes. Both are friendly and well socialized but again, I can put either in a spare room or your pet if necessary. Both my pets are up to date on their vaccinations and they get a monthly pill for flea and tick prevention. I can do everything from long or short walks, taking them outside for potty breaks, administering food or medicine, playtime, etc.

About: I have loved and owned animals as long as I can remember. I was raised with dogs, and other small animals! My daughter and I lost our Ollie in August 2022 at 4 years old to lung cancer and would love to care for your pet until we are ready for our next family member. I am comfortable taking care of pets of any age. I can provide food and water bowls, blankets, dog beds, stuffed toys, and I have a medium size kennel. All you need to bring is food, treats, leash/harness and any special comfort items. My daughter loves to go outside every chance she gets so they will have a lot of outside time when the weather permits. They will be allowed to roam the house as they want and are allowed on furniture – like I said- spoiled. I love to send pictures while you are gone to share their adventures while they are here. I do work for the school district 11am-1:30pm but I will be around a majority of the time to play and take care of your family member while they are here. Any drop offs and pick ups will need to be before 9am or after 2:30pm I have a fenced in yard – it is a short fence so fence jumpers are probably not the best fit for me. We can crate them when we are gone if needed and will do our best to stick to their regular routine.

About: i’ve owned dogs on my own for 10 years, worked professionally with dogs for 7 years in a kennel/day care environment. i have worked with dogs of different temperaments and sizes and ages and have training in pet health, safety, and body language. i work full time, with a set schedule. i am more than happy to come by to see your babies before or after work as well as on my days off. i personally walk my dogs on properly fitted harnesses on 4 ft leashes, one of them with a muzzle. i am open to 6 ft leashes, retractable leashes, prong collars, muzzles, backyard play, whatever your pup needs !!

About: Recently graduated from Mizzou, I have spent the last 2 years helping to care for our house pets, including two cats and one dog. I worked to feed, walk, and engage with my pets during this period. Prior to this, I lived and cared for many animals back in my hometown: 3 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, 2 parrots, and a turtle. Because of this, I deliver versatile care, and understand that every pet has its own unique needs! I work 2 part time jobs, both in healthcare, where my hours are stacked on certain days of the week. This gives me flexibility to help care for your pets! Though each week can be a little different, I have my schedule set throughout the summer and can plan far ahead! I have such a big heart for animals! I love giving them attention and care above and beyond what's expected. I prefer to do this in a house sitting situation due to having 5 other roomates with animals here, but I have a car and am willing to do overnights!

About: i have been working with pets (dogs and cats of every breed) for the past 15 years. Dog groomer for the past 11 years (retiring at the end of July 2026) I have two cats of my own (Asta and Bandit) and a Dobie (Cipher). I love caring for all types of animals and going for walks in nature. let me take special care of your fur babies! 🦮😻 currently working as a dog groomer, last day is july 31st. i will have full flexibility after that! right now i am available in the late afternoon and evenings! i have two indoor cats that are both friendly and a backyard for your pet to play in! i also have a crate for small and large dogs if needed.

I’m a certified dog-walker for KC Pet Project and have a degree in psychology that informs my training practices. Some of my other special skills include administering oral medications via pill or syringe, working with blind and deaf pets, adapting to various temperaments from wary seniors to energetic babies, attuning to body language, and providing first aid. One of my own dogs struggles with severe separation anxiety, so I have a wealth of experience with giving daily oral medications, lowering distress levels, and compassionately discouraging resulting destructive behaviors. My schedule is very flexible for walks and drop-in visits! To beat the heat, I’m available in the mornings and evenings. At this time, I am unavailable for constant-care overnight visits. Most of all, I aim to keep your pet safe and to communicate clearly and consistently with you. I’m happy to do meet-and-greets before services begin so that we can establish a relationship and set expectations. I am comfortable with kenneling, provide constant monitoring to ensure safety, and I value giving your pet plenty of attention when in my care.
