“Abigail was simply amazing with the dogs! She was very good with them, send frequent updates when she walked them, including pictures! You could see the happiness in their faces, and that they were enjoying their time with Abigail. It was a huge relief to know that they were being taken care of when I couldn't be there for them. I would recommend Abigail to anyone!”

“Natalie does a phenomenal job taking care of my dog. She is caring and attentive and always takes her on long walks! She communicates well, is kind, and easy to work with. I know my dog loves her and trusts her. We will keep her around as long as we can!”

“Theresa has been absolutely amazing! She is so kind and adaptable to my dog and his various levels of chaos for his twice weekly walks. She is punctual, spends an adequate amount of time with him, and always very loving. She has been the perfect addition to his routine. I get lots of photos and she lets me know how he did each time she picks him up. I am excited to continue working with her while I am still in school.”

About: I have loved and owned animals as long as I can remember. I was raised with dogs, and other small animals! My daughter and I lost our Ollie in August 2022 at 4 years old to lung cancer and would love to care for your pet until we are ready for our next family member. I am comfortable taking care of pets of any age. I can provide food and water bowls, blankets, dog beds, stuffed toys, and I have a medium size kennel. All you need to bring is food, treats, leash/harness and any special comfort items. My daughter loves to go outside every chance she gets so they will have a lot of outside time when the weather permits. They will be allowed to roam the house as they want and are allowed on furniture – like I said- spoiled. I love to send pictures while you are gone to share their adventures while they are here. I work from home so I will be around a majority of the time to play and take care of your family member while they are here. I have a fenced in yard – it is a short fence so fence jumpers are probably not the best fit for me. We can crate them when we are gone if needed and will do our best to stick to their regular routine.
“Addy was so sweet and great!! My dog Brisket immediately clicked with her, and Addy was so sweet with her and made sure she asked all the questions and knew all of her quirks and nuances. I will definitely use Addy again!”

“Laura does a wonderful job watching and walking our puppies and kitties. Our dogs take a little bit to warm up to others and she got them to open up quickly. We definitely plan on using Laura’s services for walks and housesitting in the future.”

About: I treat every pet like they’re my own, taking the time to learn their little quirks, routines, and what makes them happiest. Whether your pet loves nonstop play or just wants a cozy place to relax, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for the whole time you’re away. I have experience with both energetic puppies and sweet senior pets. I can help reinforce basic training for puppies—like potty habits and leash manners—and I’m patient and gentle with older pets who may need a slower pace, extra attention, or medication support. I’ll also keep you in the loop with regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, loved, and in good hands. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy, so I naturally build it into my day rather than trying to squeeze it in. I like having a flexible routine that lets me give each pet real attention instead of rushing in and out. Most days, I plan around morning and evening visits when pets are usually most active or need their routine care. That might mean feeding, fresh water, litter box cleanup, potty breaks, or just spending a little time playing or keeping them company so they don’t feel lonely. I also like checking in with owners so they feel connected and reassured while they’re away. On a weekly basis, I organize my schedule so I can be consistent and dependable for each pet I’m caring for. I make sure there’s enough space in my routine to show up on time, follow instructions closely, and give every animal the same level of care and attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely—feeding schedules, walk routines, medication needs, and any specific house rules—so your pet feels secure in their familiar environment. I also make sure doors, gates, and any escape risks are always checked and secured before and after each visit. I take time to build trust with each pet at their own pace, especially shy or anxious animals. I approach calmly, respect their boundaries, and let them come to me when they’re ready. For more energetic pets, I make sure they get safe, positive outlets for play and exercise.
“Heather works great with Rascal. Rascal recently had leash training and Heather works with him when she takes him out for his walk. Rascal is so good excited to see Heather when she comes.”

About: I have never lived a day my 34 years without at least one pet to my name, usually dogs and cats. About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)
About: I have 3 dogs of my own and have been caring for dogs for over 10 years. I have experience at a dog boarding/daycare facility as well as boarding in my own home. I am currently unavailable on weekends but, I can care for your fur babies during the week before and after work! Monday-Friday 6a-8a and 2:30p-9p I do walks and drop in visits. Please let me know if I can bring treats! (and any allergies) I am comfortable walking 2-3 dogs at a time if you are a multi-dog household. If boarding, I have a fenced in back yard and a dog door that I open/close as needed. I have 3 dogs to keep yours company and to play with for their stay.
About: I grew up with pets & definitely love spending time w/ them! I currently live in an apartment & have my 19 year old cat w/ me. Our pets become family & I’d love to help take care of yours anyway I can! I own my own chiropractic office in downtown KC, so my hours & schedule are more flexible than some others. I can typically accommodate for what your pet needs! I offer in-home visits for feeding, potty breaks, play time and walks. I’d love to help a fellow animal lover in any way I can!
