About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)

“Erika was able to meet with me on a moment's notice and was very reliable. She even worked it out to drive a little farther than she would have liked. Thank you Erika!”

“Kamila has been taking my Goldendoodle on walks while I am at work and has been so amazing! She communicates very well with me and has been so flexible with my nursing schedule. I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone!!”

“Jessica is super helpful with our dog and has helped improve his leash walking in the short time he has been working with her. Would definitely recommend”

“Billie Jo is amazing! We have a temperamental rescue and she was fantastic with him. Knew exactly how to handle him and when not to push. It made me feel at ease knowing our pup was taken care of while we weren’t home.”

“Abigail was simply amazing with the dogs! She was very good with them, send frequent updates when she walked them, including pictures! You could see the happiness in their faces, and that they were enjoying their time with Abigail. It was a huge relief to know that they were being taken care of when I couldn't be there for them. I would recommend Abigail to anyone!”

“I have been so pleased with Kodiak walking my dog on a regular basis. I get great feedback and pictures of of Barbie out on her walk. It’s been a relief to find someone so responsible and caring. I would not hesitate to recommend Kodiak to anyone who needs a trusted dog walker or sitter!”

“Michaela has been walking my dogs twice a week since November. She is always on time, my dogs wait for her every day! Every day! They love Michaela, returning home exhausted and happy. She even cleans their muddy paws when they come home! Perfect dog walker.”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have experience caring for pets for family, friends, and neighbors. As a college student and athlete, I’m dependable, responsible, and active, so your pets will get plenty of attention, exercise, and care. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or keeping them company, I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away. I’m a full-time college student with a mix of online and in-person classes, which gives me flexibility throughout the week. I also play collegiate soccer, but I plan my schedule carefully and update my availability regularly. I’m available for pet sitting, drop-in visits, and walks during my free time, as well as many evenings and weekends. I’ll always communicate clearly to make sure your pet gets the care and attention they deserve. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I will follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, medication instructions, and any special requests to help them feel comfortable. I’ll provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and updates with photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always keep their well-being first.
About: I have loved and owned animals as long as I can remember. I was raised with dogs, and other small animals! My daughter and I lost our Ollie in August 2022 at 4 years old to lung cancer and would love to care for your pet until we are ready for our next family member. I am comfortable taking care of pets of any age. I can provide food and water bowls, blankets, dog beds, stuffed toys, and I have a medium size kennel. All you need to bring is food, treats, leash/harness and any special comfort items. My daughter loves to go outside every chance she gets so they will have a lot of outside time when the weather permits. They will be allowed to roam the house as they want and are allowed on furniture – like I said- spoiled. I love to send pictures while you are gone to share their adventures while they are here. I do work for the school district 11am-1:30pm but I will be around a majority of the time to play and take care of your family member while they are here. Any drop offs and pick ups will need to be before 9am or after 2:30pm I have a fenced in yard – it is a short fence so fence jumpers are probably not the best fit for me. We can crate them when we are gone if needed and will do our best to stick to their regular routine.
“Kyle has been great! He has great energy and our pups love him. He has great communication. He's punctual, he's flexible, and he has pockets full of treats. He has even been working with our baby to stop her from pulling on walks. I am so happy to have found him.”

About: One of the things that sets me apart is my firsthand experience caring for high-energy, intelligent breeds. I have two Huskies and a Samoyed, so I’m very familiar with the exercise, structure, and attention these dogs need to thrive. I understand that active breeds aren’t just looking for a quick potty break—they need engagement, mental stimulation, and plenty of activity. Because I care for three dogs every day, I’m comfortable managing multiple pets, maintaining routines, and recognizing when a dog needs extra attention or a little more space. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they receive personalized care based on their personality and your preferences. I’m dependable, organized, and know how important communication is when you’re away from your pet. I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, happy, and being treated like one of my own. My goal is simple: to provide the same level of care, patience, and attention that I give my own Huskies and Samoyed every single day. Pet care is my full time focus, so your pet will receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. I’m available for boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, and walks on both weekdays and weekends, and I can accommodate early mornings, evenings, and many last-minute requests. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. Your pet will be welcomed into a home with years of experience caring for active, large-breed dogs. I currently have two Huskies and a Samoyed, so I’m comfortable with high-energy dogs, different personalities, and maintaining consistent routines. I have a securely fenced yard, closely supervise all playtime, and can separate dogs if needed to ensure everyone stays safe and comfortable. I follow each pet’s feeding schedule, medication instructions, and any special care requests, treating every dog like one of my own.
About: What sets me apart as an animal sitter is not only my deep love and compassion for animals but also my unique combination of skills and experience. I have a proven track record of successfully training puppies and providing dedicated senior care to older pets, ensuring their comfort, safety, and happiness. My background in puppy training equips me with the patience and expertise needed to establish positive behaviors and routines early on. This not only benefits the puppy but also provides peace of mind for pet owners. Additionally, my experience in senior pet care allows me to attentively address the unique needs of older animals, including administering medication, managing mobility challenges, and providing the gentle care and attention they deserve. Beyond specialized skills, I am known for my responsible and reliable approach. Pet owners can trust that I will adhere to any specific care instructions, maintain open communication, and create a fun and engaging environment for their furry companions. My commitment to maintaining a safe and nurturing space for animals, combined with my ability to adapt to individual needs, truly sets me apart in delivering exceptional care as an animal sitter. Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine, and I've structured my commitments to ensure that every pet under my care receives the attention, care, and love they deserve. Despite having a part-time job, I have established a well-balanced schedule that revolves around the needs of the pets. In the mornings, before heading to my part-time job, I dedicate quality time to feed, exercise, and engage with the animals. I understand the importance of regular exercise and play for pets, and I make it a priority to ensure they have stimulating activities to keep them mentally and physically active. During my lunch break, I always make a point to check in on the pets, whether it's a quick walk, playtime, or simply ensuring they have fresh water and a comfortable environment. This midday break allows me to provide them with some companionship and reassurance throughout the day. Upon returning from work, I allocate a significant portion of my evening to the pets. This involves feeding, longer walks, interactive play, and any specific care needs they might have, such as grooming or medication. I understand that pets thrive on consistency and routine, and I work diligently to maintain this routine to ensure their well-being. During the weekends, my schedule is more flexible, allowing me to dedicate extended periods of time to pet care. This is when I can engage in more elaborate activities, training sessions, and outings to provide enriching experiences for the animals. Incorporating pet care into my routine requires careful planning and commitment, but it's a responsibility I take seriously and wholeheartedly. I believe that every pet deserves personalized attention and care, and I am fully dedicated to providing them with the best possible care within the framework of my daily and weekly routine. When caring for pets, whether in my own home or at a client's residence, I am committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment that meets their unique needs. The specific care approach can vary depending on the service I am offering. Caring for Pets in My Own Home: If I am providing pet care in my own home, I make sure to create a welcoming and pet-friendly space. I ensure that there are designated areas for rest, play, and meals. Regular exercise and mental stimulation are key components of my routine, so I schedule daily walks, playtime, and interactive activities to keep pets engaged and happy. Additionally, I adhere to any dietary requirements and feeding schedules provided by the pet owner, and I maintain clear communication to keep them updated on their pet's well-being. Caring for Pets in a Client's Home: When offering pet care services in a client's home, my goal is to maintain a sense of familiarity and routine for the pet. I start by discussing the pet's daily routine, preferences, and any special needs with the owner. I strive to replicate their regular environment as closely as possible, ensuring that the pet feels comfortable and at ease. This includes following feeding schedules, walking routes, and playtime activities that the pet is accustomed to. In both scenarios, safety is paramount. I take precautions to pet-proof the environment to prevent accidents or incidents. I am diligent about administering any required medications and providing the appropriate care for pets with specific medical conditions or dietary restrictions. Regular communication with pet owners is a fundamental aspect of my approach, as I believe in keeping them informed about their pet's activities, behavior, and overall well-being. Ultimately, my pet care philosophy revolves around treating each animal as an individual and tailoring my services to cater to their unique personalities, needs, and preferences. Whether in my home or at a client's residence, I am dedicated to ensuring that every pet receives the love, attention, and care they deserve.
