“My kitties loved her! She was very communicative and provided me plenty of updates and pictures. One of my cats had an accident and she was very understanding and really cared about his wellbeing. Would 100% book with Dani again.”

About: I’ve cared for cats since I was 8 years old and have had a deep love for them since. I’ve fostered 3 cat liters, twice with their mother. I have never not had a cat in my home and currently have two sweet babies! I rescued one from the feral life and my other was actually the singular kitten she had after her rescue. Cats are often neglected or overlooked due to them being labeled as “easy pets” since they are often independent. But I know they are so much more complex than that. Each one has their own personality, preferences, and niche quirks. Your cat will be respected and cared for as if they were my own!
“Misti took care of my two cats twice a day for two weeks. She did everything I asked and sent extra notes and pics at each visit. She is a great communicator! Misti even got my shy cat, Paris, into a great routine early on and was able to pet her by the end of the two weeks. I called Misti the cat whisperer for her ability to win Paris over. The house was perfect and cats were happy when we returned home. I will definitely call upon Misti for pet care in the future!”

“Theresa stopped by to check on my two cats and she was awesome! I felt confident that the cats were well taken care of, she sent lots of pictures and was very responsive.”

“Amanda was great. Socialized with our cats each day, in addition to feeding and cleaning up after them. Sent us pictures and videos everyday with an update on how the cats were behaving.”

“Kodiak was the best! They were super reliable, sent us updates and photos every day, and took great care of our kitties. It was really nice not having to worry when we were gone! When we got home there was a handwritten card and toys left for our cats, that was such a thoughtful touch and honestly made our day. We’d absolutely rebook and would recommend them to anyone! :)”

“Kadyn was fantastic! 2x daily pics of my babies and knowing they were well taken care of was so reassuring for me. Will be rebooking with Kadyn for all of my pet sitting needs”

“Jessica was great! She was very respectful of my home and made sure Spot got the kind of food she wanted. She brings a lot of experience and knowledge when she comes to take care of your pet!”

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give every pet. I know that trusting someone with your furry family member is a big decision, so I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m patient, dependable, and committed to following your pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. This is my only job at the moment so I am very flexible. Soon, though I may do some substitute teaching but that is a nice job too because it’s also very flexible. I care for every pet according to their individual routine and needs. I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection. I pay close attention to their behavior and comfort, and I’ll follow any specific instructions you provide, including medications, feeding schedules, or other special care.
About: Hi! I’m Michaela, a certified dog trainer through Animal Behavior College (ABC). I’m also experienced in caring for exotic pets, including reptiles and rodents. Dog training is my full time job! I can fit in quick schedules for dog walking almost anytime of day! And get in training sessions within the week! I’m also very flexible with boarding I have a fully fenced yard and two friendly dogs of my own. If your dog isn’t comfortable around other dogs, no problem at all I can easily keep them separated to ensure everyone feels safe and relaxed. My home is very dog friendly, with plenty of toys, enrichment activities, and space to play. There’s even a creek nearby where I love taking dogs for peaceful walks, and I have agility equipment for those who want to try something new and fun! Whether your dog loves to play, train, or just relax, I make sure each pet feels comfortable, cared for, and happy like they’re on their own little vacation while you’re away.
About: Hey y'all! I'm a looooong time fur mom and lover of all animals. We have a 3 goofy rescues Innu, Brodie Lee and lil sis Alora, but we want to help 'em make more friends! They are SUPER dog friendly and so are we. We take them on walks through our neighborhood and local parks which can lead to off path walking, so I may have to give a bath to your fur babies. We live in a hard wood floor house so accidents are no sweat to us! Our home is well kept and very animal friendly. I've worked in shelters, rescues, and have had many rehabilitated and injured fur babies throughout my life. My kids are my helpers as they are ready for new dogs with different levels of activities and have learned basic training methods from following me. We're here to be the safest and BEST sitters in the metro! I work remotely from my office which looks out into the back yard and allots me a great deal of time to really bond and have a good time sitting others pups! With all to do in the city I just know your pups will enjoy us as much as ours do. I have a oddly terrained fenced yard with a flat patio and tons of shady spots for the dogs to lounge for as long as they please (weather permitting). I leave a big ole' water bowl out there as well - holds 2 gallons and I fill it every day at the beginning and throughout the day.
“Kyle was great. Ella is an insulin dependent diabetic and he reliably made visits to time her dosing appropriately. He was also available on short notice which really helped me out. Many thanks Kyle!”

About: I worked at a vet clinic for 2 years, walking, feeding, and watering the cats and dogs. My main task was to take care of and make sure the pets were comfortable. I have two large dogs of my own who are the craziest dogs ever, so I believe that I can take care of the craziest of pets. I am also an Animal Science major in college, so I have some knowledge on how to treat and take care of animals. Also, I have a passion for animals and will do anything to take care of them so they are happy. I believe that I am responsible and mature to be able to handle the most playful of pets. And one of my favorite past times is playing with my pets, so being able to play with any pet is something I strive to make fun. Pet care will fit in around my work schedule. I work everyday during the week until 4-5pm. I am available on most weekends and most weeknights if needed. I know the importance of taking care of someone's pet. They are your family member, like my dog is mine. Therefore, I will take care your pet to the best of standard.
“Megan really helped me in a last minute pinch. She was very responsive. I have a furbo camera and watched the footage later. She was so great with the pups! We didn't get to do a meet and greet ahead of time, but she confidently got in and gained their trust. She got them to potty and played with them like I asked for almost an hour. She even refilled their water. Definitely will book with her again when we need!”

“Amanda was great, we went and did a visit. The visit went very well and her dog was very friendly and has a large backyard to run in. Amanda was very informative about the daycare that is provided and she would send videos during the day if you wanted.”

About: Hi! I’m Hailey, a lifelong dog lover with years of experience caring for dogs of all ages and energy levels. I work from home, so I have plenty of flexibility to give your pets the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. I have experience with puppy training and am trained in dog CPR. As a former collegiate athlete, I’m also happy to keep up with even the most energetic pups! My priority is making sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. As someone who works from home, pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily routine. With the flexibility of my schedule, I have the privilege of being available for your pets throughout the day. This means I can provide them with the attention, care, and companionship they need. Whether it's feeding, exercise, playtime, or administering any necessary medications, I can be there to tend to their needs promptly. Additionally, I understand the importance of maintaining a consistent routine for pets, so I ensure that their feeding and exercise schedules align with their usual habits. Rest assured, your furry companions will receive dedicated care and supervision, as I am always present and ready to meet their needs. The way I care for pets in my home or a client's home depends on the specific service being provided. Here are a few scenarios: In the client's home: Pet Sitting: When providing pet sitting services at a client's home, I make sure to replicate the pet's daily routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding them according to their usual schedule, providing fresh water, cleaning litter boxes, taking dogs for walks, and engaging in playtime or exercise based on their specific needs. I also offer companionship and affection to help reduce any separation anxiety they may experience. Drop-in Visits: During drop-in visits, I visit the client's home at scheduled times to check on their pets. I ensure they have food and water, clean litter boxes, let dogs out for bathroom breaks, and spend quality time with them, offering play and affection. Dog Walking: For dog walking services, I take the dogs on stimulating walks to provide exercise, mental stimulation, and an opportunity for bathroom breaks. I follow any instructions regarding route preferences, leash handling, or specific behavioral considerations. Regardless of the service provided, the well-being, safety, and happiness of the pets are my top priorities. I strive to create a comfortable and nurturing environment, maintain their regular routines, and shower them with love and attention, just as their owners would.

My dog is my whole world and any pet in my care gets the same attention. I WFH most days, going into the office for a half a day every Wednesday and 3 full days at the beginning of the month. About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)

“Erika was able to meet with me on a moment's notice and was very reliable. She even worked it out to drive a little farther than she would have liked. Thank you Erika!”
“Love having Jessica over to walk my pup. She's so good with animals and you can see how much see loves them. Such a comfort having her walk my sweet pup during the day”

“Billie is so wonderful! We could not peacefully go to work without her help. Our dog is always happy when I get home and the house is always locked and secured after her departure. THANK YOU!”

About: I’ve had pets since I was a child and have been a natural with all pets for as long as I can remember. I am knowledgeable on animal body language, specifically dogs and cats. Being aware of animal body language helps me approach and interact with animals within their comfort zone and not stress them. Your pets are your family and I strive to treat them as such! I’ve cared for people’s pets for 2 years, including dog walking, taking dogs to the dog park, pet sitting. I have also worked with reactive dogs, and leash reactive dogs. I am not a professional trainer but as someone who has adopted a reactive dog and worked with him through it to the point he is no longer reactive, I know it can be stressful. I will strive to keep your animals away from scenarios that pushes their boundaries or causes them stress. I have been called a pet whisperer, as I haven’t met a cat or dog that doesn’t warm up to me quickly and trust me. Your dogs comfort and care is important. Your fur baby is safe with me 🐾 I have a pretty free schedule. So let me know what times or days you need and I can make it work as this is my main job right now. I follow their lead first on their trust and comfort with me. To gain this trust I read their body language and allow them space to approach and interact with me as they see fit! I try to stay present and in their sight, typically by sitting on the couch or floor to show them I am not a threat and I am calm. I talk to softly and only pet if it’s invited! Once your pet shows they trust and feel comfortable they get all the lovings and pets they want. I’ll play with them and walk with them. You tell me what your pets need and I got them!
“Theresa has been absolutely amazing! She is so kind and adaptable to my dog and his various levels of chaos for his twice weekly walks. She is punctual, spends an adequate amount of time with him, and always very loving. She has been the perfect addition to his routine. I get lots of photos and she lets me know how he did each time she picks him up. I am excited to continue working with her while I am still in school.”

“I have been so pleased with Kodiak walking my dog on a regular basis. I get great feedback and pictures of of Barbie out on her walk. It’s been a relief to find someone so responsible and caring. I would not hesitate to recommend Kodiak to anyone who needs a trusted dog walker or sitter!”

“Abigail was simply amazing with the dogs! She was very good with them, send frequent updates when she walked them, including pictures! You could see the happiness in their faces, and that they were enjoying their time with Abigail. It was a huge relief to know that they were being taken care of when I couldn't be there for them. I would recommend Abigail to anyone!”

About: For the past 4 years and counting I have always had a passion for the safety and well-being of all pets. I have always been surrounded by dogs and cats and want to share all the love with any pet regardless of their reactivity or love back for me. I always come with a smart and safe approach until the pup or cat can trust me. I’ve worked for a dog bar park and have professional dog walking experience here in KC where the skills not only improved me, but really made enjoy and appreciate the pet industry more. I can promise effective communication, love, patience, joy, appreciation and happiness with your pet; I want to give the same love from my own pets to yours! I push to make pet care my full time job, I have a strong and pure passion for pets all over the Kansas City area! Walks — I offer play dates at a safe environment with consent and communication with the owner as well as walks. If I have a reactive dog I ask for specifics of their triggers and then apply it to make their walk as safe as possible! At the end of their walk I am very descriptive and honest with my client! If a pup is a senior or puppy I would like to create a safe in home enrichment environment so that they can enjoy themselves! Sits — this all depends on the clients schedule for their pup for their day to day routine! I make it as comfortable for the pups as possible! My clients I currently do have, have fully trust me and the PUPdates they get from me are specific and detailed! They receive three updates per day! They are never worried or have to check in to see how their pup is doing!

About: I have 3 dogs of my own ranging from a pit/akita to a chihuahua, and cats as well! I have great experience with dogs and cats! I’ve volunteered for KCPP (Kansas City Pet Project) for 7 almost 8 years now. Taking dogs on walks, giving training, feeding, and cleaning messes. But my love for animals didn’t start there. When my dad was teaching me to ride a bike, he kept telling me to watch where I was going—but I got distracted by a neighbor walking their dog. I turned, excitedly asking if I could pet it, and rode straight into a tree. Scraped knee, a little embarrassed… but my first question was still, “Can I pet the dog?” That’s how much I’ve always loved dogs. (True story by the way) I have a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate walks, feedings, and check-ins throughout the day, whether it’s early mornings, afternoons, or evenings. I stay organized and dependable. I care for pets with patience, attention, and genuine love, treating each one like they’re my own. I make sure their basic needs are always met—fresh water, proper feeding, regular walks, and a safe, clean environment—while also paying close attention to their behavior and comfort. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or sticking to a specific routine, I adapt to each pet’s personality to keep them happy, healthy, and stress-free.
About: I have loved and owned animals as long as I can remember. I was raised with dogs, and other small animals! My daughter and I lost our Ollie in August 2022 at 4 years old to lung cancer and would love to care for your pet until we are ready for our next family member. I am comfortable taking care of pets of any age. I can provide food and water bowls, blankets, dog beds, stuffed toys, and I have a medium size kennel. All you need to bring is food, treats, leash/harness and any special comfort items. My daughter loves to go outside every chance she gets so they will have a lot of outside time when the weather permits. They will be allowed to roam the house as they want and are allowed on furniture – like I said- spoiled. I love to send pictures while you are gone to share their adventures while they are here. I do work for the school district 11am-1:30pm but I will be around a majority of the time to play and take care of your family member while they are here. Any drop offs and pick ups will need to be before 9am or after 2:30pm I have a fenced in yard – it is a short fence so fence jumpers are probably not the best fit for me. We can crate them when we are gone if needed and will do our best to stick to their regular routine.
“Arrived to visits on time, took lots of pics, made sure food and water were filled, but most importantly, Gus enjoyed her and was comfortable with her!!! Will definitely hire Michaela again.”

“Joseph took care of Luna for a little over 2 weeks, and we couldn’t be more pleased. We got the perfect amount of updates and pictures/videos. We’ve left Luna in Jospeh’s care several times at this point, and have no plans of stopping in the future.”

“Dominic and his team at home took great care of Maddie. She came home worn out from all the playing with the other dogs. They have a great yard for outdoor playtime and plenty of beds all around (and a lap or two).”

“My fur babies had a wonderful stay with Taylor. She is so kind, even my sensitive pup, June warmed up to her instantly! Taylor was very flexible when our pickup /drop off times shifted and checked in during the visit to let me know the puppies we doing good. Highly recommend Taylor for anyone looking to have a pet sitter they can trust. Thank you so much Taylor! We will book again with you soon! ☺️”

“Wonderful pet sitting from Noreen and her family. They picked up my doggy and dropped him off as well as sent me many photos and updates. I would definitely book with them again. My doggy was well kept, clean and happy upon return. Thank You!”

“My shy fearful dog who is afraid of her shadow was shivering in the back seat until Ashley started talking to her and she jumped right out. I couldn't have been happier. She's our dog whisperer now! We will be booking again soon!”

“We know our pups enjoyed their stay with Laura! They were well taken care of during their 5 day stay. She sent updates and pictures daily and kept them on their routines as well as exercised, safe, entertained, brushed and loved on! We will definitely book with her again!”

“Nathen has always been super quick with communication, responding to booking requests usually within minutes and is always available to answer questions we may have. Even on short stays he still sends at least one picture a day. Highly recommend!”

“Lona and Alan were amazing at watching my baby! They have wonderful ideas and games for mental stimulation. They make sure to get all the details and preferences for caring for your pet, and are on top of sending updates multiple times a day so you don’t worry. I have no doubt for any future trips I’ll take that my dog will be in great hands!”

“I feel so gory to have found this rover family. They loved and cared for my anxious doggo so well and kept me updated with photos. I already have them scheduled for future vacations!”

“Abigail was amazing! We needed a last minute dog sitter. She was super quick to respond and was glad to help. We were gone for a couple days. She was very communicative, sending us updates and photos throughout. Abigail clearly has a love for animals and knowledge about caring for dogs. We’re so grateful for her accommodating our last minute request and would highly recommend her to other potential clients.”

“Thank you Christine, for watching our two pups! Special thank you for the extra love you gave to Kylo while he was nervous from the thunder storm.”

“Rocio was absolutely amazing. This was our first time using rover so we didn’t know what to expect but she made it so easy and comfortable leaving Vinny for the weekend. She sent us frequent updates and pictures of our dog having the vacation of his life. She really cares about the dogs she watches and takes great care of them. Will absolutely be using her again in the future for doggy daycare or overnight boarding. Can’t recommend enough!”

“Lori was great with my dog Parsley! She kept me updated and assured me Parsley was doing well and was comfortable so I didn't have to worry! I would definitely recommend her if you need someone to watch your pup.”

“She was great with our dog Papa. He doesn't really play with toys, but she found ways to keep him occupied and happy. She kept us updated with pictures. So glad we found her as opposed to boarding.”

“Jillian was absolutely amazing with our baby, Scooby! She took wonderful care of him and provided updates and pictures! Scooby definitely enjoyed his "vacation" with Jillian and I will DEFINITELY book services with her again! This was the first time he has been away from us overnight and we were a little worried, but the updates she provided, we felt very reassured that he was in the best hands! Thank you Jillian!”

“Rachel was great! She clearly cares about and has the ability to put our dog at ease throughout the stay. We appreciated her flexibility and detailed updates. Would highly recommend! We hope to have her care for our dog again!”

“Samantha is an excellent dog sitter! She invited Honey and Walter over for a meet and greet a few weeks before the boarding date for everyone to get acquainted. The pups settled right in and enjoyed their time. Samantha checked in regularly and sent pictures to show what they were up to. We will definitely board our dogs with her again!”
